On multiple occasions I've called or stopped by, only to be told that no one was available to help me. Each time I left my name and number, I was promised a call back -- but I have never once received one. This forces me to return in person, where the outcome is usually either: 1. "We're out of stock," or 2. "Someone will call you back." As a small business owner, I only purchase 1-4 locks per year, which is nothing compared to the large timber company that seems to get first priority. Still, every customer deserves fair treatment and basic communication. A promised call back should actually happen, regardless of order size. On my most recent visit (two trips in one day), I finally spoke with someone knowledgeable about inventory and keying. Even then, I was told "someone will call you back." That was over three days ago, and I'm still waiting. At the time, there was open discussion among staff about whether additional stock was available, but I left without answers. Because Abloy keys cannot be duplicated by other locksmiths, I'm now forced to shop online, where replacement keys can take weeks. This lack of support locally has cost me significant time and frustration. This is not an isolated incident -- I've had at least three other nearly identical experiences with Security Lock & Alarm: no follow-up, repeated visits, and wasted time. It really highlights how small businesses and individual customers are deprioritized compared to big contracts. In short: if you're not a large-volume customer, don't expect much help here.

After a recent over night power outage, a glass break sensor in the garage started intermittently…read moresending out a low battery signal. We replaced the battery, but it kept showing LBS. Clint lead us through troubleshooting on the keypad, but a few hours later, LBS again. Sam came out the very next day, and was able to reset the sensor and its working great! AND no charge!! The same great qualities that prompted us to choose Advanced Security to install our system nearly 4 decades ago keep us confident in their business practices today! Thank you for being great!

My account is paid, yet, Vivint withdrew another months service from my bank for February, though, I will not have their services! That is 100% illegal?to charge for services NOT rendered! Upon calling Vivint, I was told I was paying for January, then, because I disputed it, the lady on the phone went to her supervisor to confirm I was correct in saying I had been paying for the month to come. I was correct, but they were withdrawing another &68.99 for February because it is their 'Policy', apparently to steal people's money! I do not recommend this company to ANYONE. I am so thankful to be done with their low grade services. The only reason they're getting 1 star is because I couldn't post without a rating. I don't actually give them even this!
