Isaac cleaned my carpets today. He did a fantastic job. He listened carefully to what I needed. He carefully moved my furniture. Most importantly, my carpets look beautiful. I would love to have him back to clean them when needed. Thanks to Isaac and A 1 Cleaning!!! read more

The guy that came to do our floors were so kind and did an excellent job. We will recommend them again.

Easy process with great communication. Got a quote for a garage cleaning. appointment set up soon after. Rate was so reasonable, I'll be recommending this company to my family in Humboldt. read more

$120 Facebook special turned into a $210 small job. They digital receipt only showed a $165 cash payment. Had to contact them to get a real receipt. I'd suggest a rug doctor over this company. I'm not sure if Chris, the tech was trying to pocket $50, or if the owner is up to some funny business trying to cheat on taxes or if I was just straight ripped off. Either way, there was no explanation from the owner, totally unprofessional cleaning service. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! read more

A-1 Cleaning Service - Window Washing Near Me - Eureka, California

Professional carpet cleaners who really helped me after my dog got skunked and then ran in to rub on my carpet! They came when they said they would, charged a very reasonable amount and my house is so much better! They worked hard. I would certainly recommend them to you read more

I had them scheduled for a month. They called to reschedule the morning of and could not offer another date other than 3 weeks away. I have company coming this week and did a lot of prep for this. Very disappointing! I will be finding another company because I cannot deal with a company that treats people with such disrespect! read more

I just moved into a place that smelled heavily of cat urine, so I called up A1 and met with Levi Rogers of their carpet cleaning team. We did a quick walk through discussing the particular areas of odor then we let him get to work on it. When my son and I got back we were delighted to the fresh smell and clean feeling of our carpets! I feels so good knowing my son can play on a clean floor. Much gratitude for your service. read more

We've employed A-1 Cleaning Service for several months now, and things have gone well. Details and communication are handled well. The cleaners themselves are businesslike, pleasant and efficient, are well equipped, and busily clean the heck out of the place while you watch. We're signed up for a monthly two hour cleaning session, with two cleaners at once. and as the months go by they are gradually addressing the small "once in a while" cleaning jobs when they finish the routine stuff each month. Compared to hiring an individual, which we've done a number of times in the past, they are more thorough, more expensive (we think of it as an investment in our home, and also a bit of treat), and are very reliable. Plus you're not paying anyone "under the table", and they employ a number of people so that if one is not able to make it, there's a replacement available. We came to love several of the individual cleaners we employed in the past, and they did a good job of cleaning by and large, though. So it's partly a matter of choice: a nice person who you get to know who comes and cleans, or a business which approaches the job professionally, and does it well. So we're camping happily, and seem to have made a good decision to go with A-1 Cleaning Service. read more

My contractor hired A-1 Cleaning Services for me to clean up the huge mess a terrible tenant made at my property. A-1 did a fabulous job, they communicate promptly by text and phone, and they have good energy. I would highly recommend them. read more

We had our rugs steam cleaned and also have regular house cleaning. The communication has been great and the cleaners are super nice!

I needed an estimate for a rental vacancy in Eureka CA where prior tenants had let their dogs smell up the place. I had torn out the carpet but wanted them to wash the walls. The team of 3 came to give an estimate and if I accepted it, they would work. First problem: Their website says they wear masks. But the person who headed the team, Hannah ,wore a half lower face plastic shield that offered no protection and was open on all sides. When I offered her a mask, she said hers worked enough so she could not get droplets into her face. I asked her and she disclosed she was not vaccinated. The other two team members, Dawn and Michael were well masked and respectful. After I told Hannah I was concerned about Covid issues her attitude was superficially professional but I was very uncomfortable. Second: I said problem was urine smell on walls. Took quite a while to discuss what would help the smell Finally not Hannah but Dawn discussed vinegar with me. I had already told the scheduling person that that was the reason for the cleaning . It was a unhelpful discussion. Third: At one point, during the walkthrough, Dawn asked me a question about the rental, I answered her in case she knew someone looking. Heather criticized me saying I should not be asking the workers to work prior to hiring them. I told her I wasn't. Fourth: They gave me an approximate estimate that was pretty high then went to the office and gave a bid that was sky high-I think they do't want the job. I don't want them to do the job. I am sorry for the other two of the crew that were appropriately masked, polite, helpful and professional, that this younger brash woman who did not act neither professional or knowledgeable, was the "head" of the team. I would be cautious about using them and check out the professionalism, covid masking during the estimate and walk through, etc. read more

Professional company. Arrived on time, did the job, and left. The workers were courteous and the job was done great!

Very prompt and professional with my inquiry on estimates. Unfortunately, due to personal issues, I did not attain their services.

We finally found a cleaning service that cleans! Our home looks amazing! Clean floors and baseboards. Everything polished and dusted! I highly recommend Hannah and her crew to clean your home. Past cleaning services I've used ignored requests to scrub floors and not just Swiffer them. One of the cleaners we used left our home just as dirty as when they came in and another would stand in the kitchen on their cellphone while the rest of the crew attempted to clean. I'm very impressed with A1!! read more

Started off great however after the 2nd or 3rd cleaning they would only send one person, instead of the original 2. Yet they still charge the same but the same amount of cleaning would not be done as one person can't get the same amount done in the time allotted no matter how good they are. read more

Today is the second time I've had Roger of A-1 Cleaning Services come to my home to clean my carpets. Obviously I like their work. Roger is extremely knowledgeable, professional and reliable. As a matter of fact, today was supposed to be his day off but he still agreed to clean my carpets. I first found A-1 Cleaning Services when the carpet cleaning company that I originally called to clean my carpets failed to show up, that company was Carpet Wizard. I had prepared my home the night before, moving furniture and everything associated with getting the best bang for my buck and when the day came Carpet Wizard was a no-show so I called A-1 Cleaning and they hooked me up with Roger who came that same day. I was so pleased by his work and professionalism that I am from now on using A-1 Cleaning. Roger is just about done, my carpets look awesome!!! read more

A-1 Cleaning Service - Before and after, perfect job!!!! - Window Washing Near Me - Eureka, California

We used them to get old stains out of our carpets- the carpets looked new after A-1 treated them.

Young group, billing issues, communication issues. It's Sunday, be kind. Hope and pray.

Great cleaning service! Easy to communicate with, friendly, and best of all, cleaned and waxed a large retail space extremely well. I would recommend this company any time. read more

Had our carpets cleaned today. Very friendly lady scheduled the service, she said move all the little stuff and "the guys" will move the bigger things. "If there's more than a couple things they will charge by the hour". I explained the job and number of rooms and was given estate of $234. So only one guy shows up, nice guy did a good job, but can't move furniture because it's just him, so talked him into moving just three things with my help and total price now was $384!!! None of this would have been a problem if We weren't told that the "guys" would move the furniture and the price was $150 more than we were told!!!! Just don't like being told one thing and then it's different. Ended up going around most of the furniture and was charged $40 to help with moving 3 pieces (less than 5 minutes). read more

I would give no stars but that's not possible. They tried to charge me a cancellation fee when I had to leave town to go to my Mom's memorial service. Their morals are fucked read more

A-1 Cleaning Service was excellent in providing "Move-out" cleaning services, fast and for a fair price. After making a request for an estimate with a 24 hours notice, A-1 Cleaning Services arranged for Sarah McArthur to come out and give an estimate. Sarah brought out her team, she made up the itemized estimate, and started the work pronto. I received my full deposited back and the inspector from PPM was very impressed with the cleaning work. Thanks for making my move so much easier. read more

I made an appointment and had to wait for weeks just to have our windows washed! Well worth the wait. Our windows haven't been this clean since the house was built! A-1 Cleaning is the premier cleaning company in Humboldt County. I have been using this company for years now and they have always done a fantastic job for my business and my home, not once or twice, but all the time so why should I go elsewhere. My customers, me and my wife off course want to see the carpet clean, no worries the crew is always nice, happy and on time. They also keep track of your next schedule, just like my doctor. Keep the great work going guys. read more

The office staff, scheduling, schedule confirmation phone calls all were OUTSTANDING and worthy of five stars however, the elation ended there for me and in this case my client as well, twice now. I will only write a negative review with at least more than one attempt at trying something out, everyone has an off day. I am a real estate professional, former property manager and, was in the US NAVY (anyone else that served can relate) so I know a thing or two about clean and cleaning. Both experiences represented here are on stick built, 2000 +/- square foot single family homes. The last experience, the addition of the windows at like $7.00 per pane, per side, standard window would run about $28! And, their, "paint prep" package that included the walls being cleaned and a couple other items, again for an additional charge. Both experiences came in over estimate, one by a couple hundred bucks! This last one that prompted this the window tracks were still dirty and glass streaked in places. I helped this particular client move into their new home so saw it first hand when we first started to move them in. I found bugs in some corners, dirt under the counter in the kitchen in the opening for the dishwasher and the kitchen cabinets were still, in my opinion filthy! I could have done better with some good ol' TSP and rag. There was still a film on the cabinets inside and out, like they were cleaned but still needed rinsed. There was literally cobwebs left in some of the ceiling corners. Dirty light fixtures, etc. etc. etc. They just did a lackluster job at best. There was still a musty smell present in the kitchen, no evidence of cleaning products. I guess I like a little "clean smell," bring on the Pine Sol, lol. Bummer too, their estimates and front office staff have always been easy to work with. read more

Chris from A-1 did my carpets. He did an excellent job. I had initially intended to have A1 clean two rooms, but after consulting with Chris, I was able to save money on what would have been a pointless and fruitless endeavor. Chris' honesty and integrity impressed this reviewer. I believe that A-1 Cleaning Service would be an excellent choice for anyone needing a professional carpet cleaning at a reasonable price. read more

I've never had to clean a house after renting before so we hired professionals. It took 5 hours and the estimate seemed fair. We were there just before they finished and while the job was OK we pointed out a few things they missed. Then I noticed part of the floors were still dirty and the crew leader said that "it will all look like that when they're done" and pointed at the half of the kitchen that was shiny and clean. Then said something else like "we wait till the walk through is over so we don't get the clean floor dirty" which made sense. We went outside and chatted a bit while we waited before making the payment. We didn't go back inside until the next night to do some final touch ups. I took my shoes off and walked delicately across the hardwood living room floor and noticed that the dining room and the part of the kitchen we noticed before still had lose debris and was as dirty as before. They never finished the floors! I called and kind of got a runaround from them. I'm still expecting a call back but we have the landlord coming today and despite dropping over $400 I have to bring a broom and mop before the landlord comes anyway. 1 extra star because damn, the stove looks good now. read more

I would give them ZERO stars but I had to choose a minimum of one. This company is HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I purchased a home for my client and hired A1 cleaning to do a move in clean. I live 4 hours away, in Santa Rosa. I gave A1 Cleaning a key and my credit card info. They emailed me the morning of the clean and told me they couldn't clean the house because they didn't have payment info. I replied. Then I called them and reminded them that they took my credit card info. She said she would call me back. The someone else called me back and said that they had put the key through the mail slot and that they would be unable to clean the house. I was furious as now there is no key and I am 4 hours away! I called back and asked to speak to the owner. She said he wasn't in. I asked for his name and she said she can't give it to me. I pushed until she finally told me his first name. I asked for his full name and she said she couldn't give it to me. I asked when he would be in and she said she was not allowed to give out that information! Really? Not allowed to give the first and last name of the owner and when he would be in? Good grief! TERRIBLE customer service and below average intelligence of office staff!!!!! read more
