We…read morehired them a few years back to deep clean the urine saturated carpets in our newly purchased home. They assured us over the phone that their cleaning process was "very effective" in removing urine odors. They came in, cleaned the carpets and the carpets smelled fragrant when they were finished. We moved all of our belongings into the house and within a week the odor was back full force. We had to move all our belongings back out and hire a flooring company to re-carpet our newly "cleaned" floors at an additional cost of nearly $3,000. When we contacted Payes and asked for a refund or discount they basically said "tough luck". The owner himself returned my call and said their work was not guaranteed and that we should have re-carpeted to get rid of urine stains. I asked him why his company hadn't told me that before we hired them. He asked if we had signed anything guaranteeing the odor would be removed. We hadn't of course because we had taken their word for it and trusted them. He refused to even give us a partial refund. If Payes would have been honest with us about the urine odors before we hired them we would have saved ourselves the nearly $300 we paid them. They wouldn't even make it right with us afterwords. They are a terrible company. We will never use them again and my parents who own several rentals have also quit using this business.
