Your experience here will largely depend on what day you go, how much you pay and how long your wait time is to get in. For us, we went on a Saturday and made reservations a few days in advance. Highly recommended to make reservations, regardless of the day. As far as this goes, it went very well. Stood in line for a few minutes, were greeted by a pre-host who confirmed our reservation and have me our check-in sheet. Then you stand in line again waiting for a cashier. Again, just a few more minutes. You pay, our use your vouchers, they replace your sheet with another sheet and you are sent to the next check-in area. If you are a VIP, you get a table with a table cloth. If you are not, you get a plain table. Inside was smaller than I expected. Desserts on the far left, followed by a salad area, seafood, soup, Asia, carving station, omelet bar, Italian and Mexican. Although this sounds like big selection, we were hoping for more. On the Saturday we went, there were no high-end seafood like lobster, crab legs, oysters or clams. They did have some shrimp and mussels. For the Italian area, they had pizza and chicken marsala. Right next to the Italian area was a prep area - which I was hoping was for pasta. It was not, it was for eggs. At noon on a Saturday, I was hoping for a meat and cheese omelet. They were out of sausage and didn't have any ham. I asked when they were refilling that, he said that was it for the day. Interesting... Most of what we picked up was warm or cool, not hot with the exception of the shrimp eggrolls which were hot and very good. However, most of our warm to cool food did have a good taste. The good was - the cod, green beans, California roll, mac & cheese, chicken pot pie, pizza and soup. Oh, and of course, the dessert. Apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream was very good. If you are a player here, you can quality for free buffet offers which is great considering that the Saturday lunch buffet is $44.95 (as of October ). We are interested in going back during the week when they have a larger seafood selection. Overall, if I would have paid $90 for this, I would have been very disappointed. GET A RESERVATION !! Came here for lunch on Friday and despite there being a line, it took less than 10 minutes for us to pay and be seated. If there's space and accommodations, they MIGHT take walk ins, but 100% for the more popular meals AKA weekends or lobster night, you NEED THE RESERVATION. Drinks come with the cost of the meal. VERY NICE. Many buffets charge extra for this and they have a good amount of drinks to choose from. For this weekday lunch, there were various food stations including: desserts, salad, fresh fruit, seafood (mussels, shrimp cocktail, seaweed salad), soup, Asian food, southern food, Italian food, and much more! The servers were really nice and checked up on us multiple times to refill our drinks and clear away any plates. There's hand sanitizer and gloves available for those who are conscientious of about cleanliness. What I liked: 1) The Fried Fish in the Fish and Chips: -Crisp, nicely battered exterior and the fish inside was so moist and fluffy. -Honestly better than some fried fish I've gotten at fish & chip restaurants/in other fancier sit down restaurants. -One of my favorites for sure with how delicious it was. 2) Custard Bao: -Nice and warm since it was still in the steamers. -Not a lot of people took these and if I had more space in my stomach, I would have taken a bunch more. -Decently moist, soft outside and sweet yummy custard inside. 3) Poblano Style Corn: -Slight spicy kick to it -With some Cotija cheese sprinkled on top -Sauce went great with the sweetness of the corn that was bursting with juice in each kernel (not dried out at all). -Better than some of the corn that I've gotten at Disneyland even! What could be improved: -I really wished that the plates could be somewhat warm when you get them (really makes a difference in culinary experience) since it'll help the food stay a bit warmer too! -Talking about warmth, so much of the food was left out for way too long at the buffet stations. Lukewarm and dried out food, made a lot of the food disappointing to eat. -For example, the chips/fries for the fish and chips were dried out and already styrofoamy. Some of the meat and the cream of asparagus soup I got were also lukewarm/room temp and not that appealing to eat. -It also did take some time for things to be replaced there too. Like it was almost at the end of my meal did the ribs get changed out for fresher ones. -There's a lot of chicken dishes and unfortunately the meat for most of them were a bit dry. Other than that a solid buffet to go to, I'd say it's mid rank in terms of comparison with Vegas buffets. Would like to come back, perhaps during the holidays to see if they have any festive dishes. read more

Serrano buffet is honestly the last best buffet standing in the IE and maybe even LA. My family and I feel so lucky we have a buffet comparable to Vegas right in our backyard. The ambiance is JUST like Vegas and you forget that you're in San Bernardino. I want to start by praising our server Daryl with his outstanding service. Being a former server myself I have high expectations and Daryl exceeded them all. I never had to ask for my drink to be refilled and whenever a request was made he brought it out within minutes. Regarding food I don't know where to start, we came on a Saturday which was seafood night and everything was delicious. They had endless amount of steamed crab legs and I don't mean the tiny little crabs you find at the local Chinese buffets, these ones were meatier and tastier. All my cravings were satisfied they even had seafood boil with shrimp and crawfish, which was seasoned very well. My sister in law enjoyed the prime rib and father in law and mother in law went to town on the crab. Although the star was the seafood for me, I enjoyed everything from their chicken wings to their orange chicken. I also have to mention the dessert was fabulous. Typically at a buffet I NEVER even bother saving room for the sweets but at Serrano it couldn't be helped. Hats off to the baker because everything was made in house and with care, which you can definitely taste the difference. I tried a bit of everything and my favorite was the gelato, doughnut and cheesecake. You do have to make a reservation in advance as it is very popular but it is definitely worth it. I use to come here all the time. In recent years, I've notice an influx of people flocking to enjoy their delicious buffet. Now, lines are so long you'd need to take 5 restroom break before you reach the front desks Not to mention you you'd have to already have reservations as well. For a buffet ? That's crazy. Just for giggle, I got a reservation for two. Price was too much, food was a little above average and the environment was very hectic. Would I go back ! Maybe ... Re-opened Serrano Buffet after Covid should just close again and try to make their buffet bigger and better. I feel like their food was better before they closed due to Covid. The quality of food was below average. The wait was insane especially on Wednesdays and Thursdays dinner. The price was high for the quality of food they serve. We went for Wednesday lobster dinner and we waited in line for 2.5 hours and that was with reservation. The food was very disappointing. The only thing I really enjoyed was the salad I made and the lobster tails that were freshly out from the kitchen, not the ones that had been sitting there. I only went because I had a free offer and I wanted to give it a try and update my review... And yeah I was disappointed. The whole experience was bad. read more

At $64.95/person, my mom was excited to come here for her bday. Lobsters are her fave, and it's AYCE lobsters every Wednesdays and Thursdays. Made a reservation a week in advance. Easy to do on their website, and if the time/day you want isn't available, you can submit a request, and it'll likely be approved the next day or so via email. Traffic made us arrive late but I was able to get my 4pm changed to 430 easily with a call at 3:50pm. Parking was easy. Serrano Buffet is located on the first floor of the casino, and there was no line when we arrived at 4:40pm. Streamlined process of check-in/drink orders (they provide a list of drinks which is unique/ cool) - cashier - waiter podium. Shout out to Araceli for being attentive and enthusiastic. She hooked it up w a variety of teas bc we didn't know which to pick lol - orange spiced/cinnamon mmmmm. They do a great job of sanitizing - you can't grab a plate unless you sanitize-wear gloves since they have employees handing them out. They also use alcohol table wipes after tables finish. FOOD: There's 2 lobster stations which great to avoid super long lines. Lobster tails were not as fresh as the whole lobsters. But even the whole lobsters were almost too chewy and the head guts were a bit too fishy imo. All the other food paled in comparison, with the exception of the chinese broccoli and sesame balls lol (oh so crunchy :,)). Stations include pizzas, meat, scampi seafood (cooked in front of you) which was meh, salad, then desserts of pastries and ice cream. My dad had a bite of the prime rib and was like "oh this is good" but then couldn't finish the rest bc it was too lean and meaty lol. Idk for a 2 hour drive, it was an overall meh experience. Left more to be desired, but you can never expect too much from a buffet. If you're just coming for the lobsters, it's worth a try. My parents barely finished 9, and myself 8 lmao - we can eat a lot but the meat can get repetitive so remember to mix in some greenzzzz. We were there until 8:15pm tho so I'm satisfied lol. read more

Gambling, entertainment and all you can eat? Count me in! Well, not so much on the gambling for me, but everything else! Be sure to make reservations days or even a week ahead for weekend dinners. Get checked in 30 minutes prior to your reservations in order to get seated around your reservation time. The food stations are kept clean and the food is presented well. There's 3 Crab leg stations! Yes! Two hot crab leg stations and one cold. This is where I spend 90% of my time. So my rating is mostly based on how I appreciate having crab legs hot and cold in abundance. Reason enough for me to keep coming back. I really don't eat much else from this large buffet, but here's the few other items I get. Fried chicken is crispy and moist. Prime rib, I love prime rib but it's only okay here. I keep trying it to see if it's gotten better. The other thing that draws attention is the ice cream station. Caramel Ice cream & pineapple ice cream are both so memorable. There's more people waiting for the ice cream than crab legs. The staff at the buffet are friendly and attentive. Holly has been our server twice and is on top of everything we need. Bridget, the ice cream lady is playful and engages with all of the ice cream fans!
