    Half eaten pizzas

I haven't had a lot of good pizza in the Seattle area so the other day I stopped by Serious Pie on a Thursday evening. It was a great day outside, we had a dog with us, and so we opted to sit on the patio. There were not a ton of people out there, maybe one other group, and the area was super spacious. A lot of the pizza flavors are really intriguing. The clam Pizza immediately caught my eye but of course they were out. But it was national cheese pizza day so we ordered one of their cheese pizzas (selecting 3 types of cheese) and one of their potato pizza. Both were delicious. They had a really crust and all the toppings were generous and flavorful! The employees here especially went above and beyond. They brought the dog water, and were really generous about treats (asking first of course). Definitely a nice chill place to get a pizza!

Went here for dinner after spending some time across the street in at great notion and overall had a great experience! A friend and I split the two specials for this month which were both Nduja Bella (a thinly sliced sausage). One was sweeter with baked apricots and had an amazing flavor to it combined with the pesto and burrata. The other had yakima corn and was more of a neutral taste. The ambiance was nice as we sat outside in the corner 6 table as the sun was setting and felt like a perfect summer day. One standout was our waitress, she was extremely attentive and went into great detail talking about each of the different pizza options. We also really enjoyed getting to know her!

Small outdoor dining space with tons of unique pizza, sammies and salads. Got the Pork Shoulder sammie that came with some local crisps I hadnt had. It was a fair portion for the price and the peppers (I think) were the real shining flavor. Simple cuisine with no indoor space (at least when I was there) in a lil industrial neighborhood.

In Seattle for a guys trip and checked out SP in Ballard. The pizza was fantastic. Great crust with good chew. We sampled about 4 pies and the favorite was the clam. Try the homemade ranch. Inside is small but they do have a patio. Very friendly staff.

Ordered pizza to go and it was ready pretty quickly. Was super yummy and light! Perfect for a snack or dinner for 1-2

yukon gold potato, pecorino romano, rosemary with sausage

Came here on a road trip through Seattle and saw that serious pie was a hot destination. I ordered on the phone first and then came to pick it up. It wasn't crowded at all the late afternoon but they seemed to take a while to come out with our food. In addition, it didn't come with chili flakes and it took them forever to even find a packet. I ordered the yukon gold potato, pecorino romano, rosemary pie with extra Italian sausage. After bringing it to the locks, I bit in to a pie with good crust, a bit undercooked potatoes, and expensive sausage. The pizza was almost $30 with the extra sausage. Flavor wise it was a great combination but it was just a bit small in addition to the undercooked potato. Overall it was kinda just average for me. It's a bit too pricey for me and not good enough to try it again.

The location downtown was my favorite pizza in the city growing up. My family and I would share a margarita pizza- eating the warm pie together on rainy days remains some of my favorite memories in Seattle. After moving back to the area as an adult, i wanted to try it again to see if it lived up to what I remember it being. I visited the Ballard location last weekend with my partner and it did NOT disappoint. The staff is so kind and helpful, and the vibe is great with the Viking details and outdoor eating area. We got the potato rosemary pizza and it was perfect!! The potatoes were sliced thin and they did not skimp on the herbs. The crust is the best part. We also got the beet salad and the kale Caesar salad.

Super delicious! After a Saturday exploring Ballard, this really hit the spot. The pies have tons of seasonal and unique flavors, but definitely run on the small side and are a bit pricey. It's a sit-down spot and the waiters were friendly and helpful, but it was definitely pretty busy. It's a nice cozy ambiance, and they have seating that can easily fit bigger groups.

    Fresh Mozzarella Pizza
    Pratima M.

A no-frills pizza spot nestled into the heart of Ballard, right next to all of the breweries. My friends and I were at Obec Brewing and got a pie to-go to snack on while we were there... and this just might be some of my favorite pizza in Seattle! It was super easy to order from their website and run across the street to pick it up. The Mozzarella Pizza was SO. FIRE. The wood-fired crust was delicious and the cheese was melty and fresh and the sauce was so darn good -- I can't say anything else other than to go get it, like now! I am definitely coming back!

Place your order at the sidewalk host stand for take out or outdoor dining.

They are Not kidding! This is some Serious Pie! How do I describe this? One of my dining companions said 'I think this has ruined all other pizza for me.' That's a good descriptor. The wood fired crust is crunchy at the edges and well cooked (as in the pizza chef did is correctly). The sauce has a nice herb quality. There is a fragrant olive oil in there. The mozzarella on my pie was thick and creamy, not overly chewy or stringy and the fresh basil has a nice mild flavor. I had an iced tea, which is fresh brewed, and it is one of the best iced teas I've had at a restaurant. They also have house made lemonade, soft drinks, beer amd wine. Walk up to the cashier on the sidewalk to place your order and select one of their picnic tables on either side of the street to dine-in. They have a 3 minute parking spot for pre-ordered take-out carry out. The staff are very friendly. This place is no frills. The attention is on the food, and it's really good.

Really nice place to chill with friends and grab a beer and some food .. friendly staff , and delicious wood fired pizza .. crispy crust and delectable fennel sausage.. it was the perfect amount and I had leftovers for the next day.. I was surprised I was able to find parking as that area is pretty busy ..

Stumbled on this place while making a U-turn and what a lucky day it turned out to be! Delicious lunch, pictures do not do this place justice. Picture looks like any other pizza, but this one was really really delicious . Cool, fun, zero pretention in this place. While orderingordering, we were told it will be 15 minutes to prepare, in reality it was 10, another pleasant surprise. Definitely a repeat!

In this economy, it's truly a blessing for businesses to still have loyal customers coming through the door and wanting to support local spots. At the very least, customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and taken care of when they walk in. Upon arrival after 9:00 pm on a Tuesday, we asked to set in one of the booth but they said no because of their strict policy for the booth the used x 3 or more people. Meanwhile, all 4 booth were empty. The kind waitress then offered to move us to the bar booth if something opened up, we kindly agreed and simple went on with our night at different table. While on the table my friend picked up 3 small little flowers from the base and said happy birthday to me, and I put the little flowers on my hair, then I told the waitress I hope you don't mind, my friend gave this little flowers from the table it is my birthday, to which the waitress replied happy birthday, I have no problem with that!. Then comes the manager, and tells me sarcastically, that is a cute flower but it is not yours to take, you should have asked permission anyways, I told him with a smile, but is my birthday and it a tiny flower may I keep it? He stated no, because other costumers will come in and there are no flowers in the table. I told him to replace it with another from another table and he said No give it back now please. It is not yours to take!!! Me, already feeling unwelcome and missed treated, yet still stayed but couldn't even finish my pizza because of how upset I was. I told my friend I wanted to leave. After closing the tab, I walked upfront and waited for my friend. Upon walking outside, the managers comes after us screaming "hey give me back the flower" you took it, at this point I was still walking ahead on my friend and I can hear the manager yelling "she stole it" give it back now, she is a thief, you come here to steal is that it? I repeatedly, told him I didn't take it and even open my purse and told him to come search it, but he stormed back in while insulting and yelling to me IN PUBLIC! - I was deeply humiliated in front of absolute strangers. I didn't see my friend taking the flower either, and if he did, he never gave it to me otherwise, I would have throw it at his face. The luck of hospitality, professionalism, and simply compassion and dignity from this person is Absolutely Unacceptable. I was treated with far more respect and the Four Seasons (and they did give me flowers), than this ridiculous place. It is a shame that the owner would allow someone like this to be the front of the business. And I feel deeply sorry for their employees to have to endure this person as I saw on their eyes the embarrassment they felt. I deserve nothing else but an apology for the way I was treated. I too work in hospitality, I know what is like to provide costumer service providing healthcare and never in my wildest days would I ever treat anyone with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. I recommend this person to be replace or re train. Otherwise it will only affect the business.

I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). Except that this logo has hair made of pasta! Good enough to eat! Give this place a try. You'll leave with a big smile on your faces!

We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential. Hopefully management considers bringing in weekend staff whose personalities reflect the warmth and atmosphere the space deserves, there are plenty of more qualified bartenders in Seattle that would gladly fill their spot.
