We walked past La Rocca weekly, always curious, and after a 40-mile bike ride that left us ravenous, we finally made our move. We walked in ready to inhale anything with cheese and carbs, and honestly, we could've polished off two pizzas without blinking. We ordered the Quattro Stagioni, expecting a harmonious blend of toppings. What arrived was a surprise. Instead of the usual mix, each quarter of the pizza had its own distinct topping, like four mini pizzas sharing a crust but refusing to mingle. It was visually striking, definitely different, and not quite what we were craving but still delicious to say the least cause we polished it off as usual. That said, the crust was beautifully done, the ingredients fresh! We also tried the Parma Salad, which sadly wasn't our fav. Bland arugula, a few cherry tomatoes, but had lotsa shaved parmesan and the prosciutto reminded me of just a couple slices of lunchmeat. It was weird because the same meat was on the pizza and it tasted different. I would give another try on their salad on our next visit. But then came the house wine, it was smooth, balanced, and the perfect companion to our pizza. It brought everything together in a way the salad couldn't, and honestly, it might've saved the meal from becoming a post-ride tragedy. I loved vibe inside warm and welcoming. It's clear they care about quality and tradition. The umbrellas on the ceiling were my favorite and decor was fun to look at. We'll be back (probably hungry again), but next time we'll go for something a little more unified. Maybe the Margherita or Capricciosa. I can see why they won the Seattle times best pizza place in 2024.

I came to Pizzeria La Rocca to have dinner with a friend. We got the Pizza Salsicia & Funghi and Spaghetti Olio for sharing. I love crispy pizza so I was excited to try their pizza. The crust was thin and crispy but the pizza was heavily loaded with toppings so it ended up being soggy. I think for the type of crust they have, it would be better to have light toppings to preserve the texture. My friend and I also noticed that the flavor profiles of both the pizza and the pasta are subtle. Both dishes are good, I just wish they were more flavorful. They restaurant is well-decorated and the service was great.

There were a lot of different selections and the pizzas could be customized. The pizzas are pretty thin and the crust is more of a cracker so for those who want more bread, this might not be the place. Everything we had was pretty good. I definitely like the pomodoro sauce more than the pesto but if you're with a large party try both! Service was pretty good and staff kept checking in on us. I will note, the ambiance is nice but it could get hot and stuffy inside.

The lightest wood fired crust! Red wines were very strong in flavor/alcohol. The Caesar salad was wonderfully salty with piles of freshly grated parm on top. We absolutely loved the burrata/prosciutto/arugula pizzas but beware they are larger than you'd think ($31 for one pizza that definitely serves 2, need to put that on the menu). We made a reservation through Google but definitely wasn't a need on a Tuesday evening.

Good in every way...good, drinks, service and ambiance. Pizzas are some of the best wood fired in Seattle. Just the right size, toppings and consistency of the pizza dough. This'll be one of my go-to pizza places going forward.

I was really craving a margherita pizza, and saw this place was on the way to my hotel, so I stopped by after work. They were super busy at 6pm, and since I was alone, I just got a pizza to go. The person at the counter was kinda short with me, like she was annoyed that I was in front of her, existing. I don't know why, but it threw me off. I placed my order and sat outside while I waited, since it was cold outside and no one was out there. While waiting, I saw a sign stating "best pizza in the NW" by the Seattle Times, so now I was thinking "this better be good". I looked around at the inside of the restaurant, and it looked pretty cozy, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maybe next time I go, I'll see if I can get a seat so I can fully experience the place. Maybe 15-20 minutes after ordering, the same irritated counter person came outside and handed me my pizza. She didn't seem to care that I thanked her, or that I was a customer and had tipped. Huh, oh well, I guess. I got back to the hotel and had a slice. Not bad. The cheese was very generous, and the pizza was exactly what I had been looking for. Nothing fancy, just a solid margherita pizza. Best in the NW? Hahahaa.... no. Good? Yes indeed. Would I come back here? Absolutely. One bad customer service experience isn't enough to deter me from a second visit when the food is good. Next time I'm in Seattle and want to chow down on some pizza, I'll likely come back here. The location is really good, and so was the pizza.

Delicious pizza, tastes like pizza I had while visiting Italy. Spicy shrimp was 10/10 as well but forgot to get photo. Restaurant inside is very cute and spacious, tables aren't crammed together which is nice. Will return!

The pizzas are good, but I loved the pastas! They offer great vegetarian options, and the service is quick. The seating is limited, so there might be a bit of a wait, but we were able to find a spot in about 10 minutes. Definitely worth checking out!

Visiting from Florida and was given a recommendation to go to this restaurant. I can't tell you how glad I am that we did! The pizza was fabulous, consisting of the thinnest and most delicate crust I've ever had. Flavors were mild and perfect on the pizza we chose. To top it off, we decided to have dessert. My husband had crème brûlée, and I had the chocolate mousse. Not only was the mousse beautiful, but it was probably the best I've ever had. I highly recommend going to this restaurant when and if you are ever in the area. They deserve your business!

Was walking around the area and did not expect to walk into such a cozy welcoming Italian restaurant. Staff were friendly and checked on us often. We ordered the margarita pizza, seafood pizza, and bolognese. The thin crusted and wood-fired pizzas were amazing, ingredients were fresh and great quality. Although, the sardines made the seafood pizza too salty for my liking, the combination was still unique and enjoyable. The bolognese was great, not too heavy, just wish the pasta was handmade. Will definitely come back to try more pizzas!

Again the day after visiting Rocco and still fuqing amazing

I want to start with , I take everyone I know here . The staff are amazing and so kind and their pizza is authentic. Every time I go it's so amazing. And I have been 5 times so far and order to my house once and it was still amazing . They have gluten free and lactose free options but I will be honest bring your lactose and gluten pills and enjoy yourself because it's that good. One of my times I ordered gluten free with no cheese and it was still fuqin amazing . I'm telling you . You won't regret it. Small and quaint.

https://www.pizzalarocca.com/ How I heard of this place: Chaco Canyon was a neighborhood staple, but it seems that Covid took it out, as well as many other favorites. We have been so curious about Pizzeria La Rocca since it opened and finally had the chance to visit a couple of months ago while walking back from the Zoo. Type of cuisine: Italian style, woodfired pizzas, pastas and sides. "Coupling the organic nature and freshness of the ingredients with the pizza making mastery that they accumulated during years of apprenticeship in the Italian pizzerias is what Mariana and Claudia want to bring to Pizzeria La Rocca." Ambiance: Easy, sophisticated, comfortable and elegantly streamlined and modern, the space offers outdoor seating (twotables) as well as indoor options at tables with wooden chairs. The space is actually quite beautiful, and feels great for a date night, a meal with close friends, and a space that offers great food, thoughtful products and sweet hospitality. What I ordered: Caesar Salad ($12) Romaine lettuce, seasoned croutons, shaved parmesan, classico dressing, lemon; Pizza Pepperoni ($25) - pomodoro sauce, shredded and fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, grated parmesan; and the Pizza Primavera ($24.50) - pomodoro, mozzarella, red onions, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil. What I loved: The Ceaesar salad was crispy, fresh and and bright - exactly what we wanted. The pepperoni was slightly spicy, and the ingredients of the Primavera fresh and flavorful. We loved the thinness of the crust - reminiscent of pizzas we had in Italia, and the seemingly meager toppings, which perfectly balanced the crisp bread. Why I loved it: The staff were friendly, the food wonderful and the outdoor dining pleasant. Cost: High

    Horrible pizza

Long story short, go somewhere else... I decided to give this place a try since it's in my neighborhood. It looks nice, they had live music and awards for their pizza in the window. I don't know where these awards came from because this was by far some of the worst pizza I've ever had in Seattle. The entire pizza was undercooked except the crust (which was overcooked), too much flop that you couldn't pick it up and all of your ingredients look like they came out of a can. The garbage you see in the picture was a $30 rip off. How can you actually charge $30 for that??? The crust was so bubbled up that when you went to grab it, it would break apart and deteriorate. I watched people at other tables fail to pick it up too. Servers come around and brush the many crumbs off every table...pizza should never be like this. To top it all off, the food made me very sick the next day. I highly recommend Cornuto Pizzeria, Windy City Pies or Ridge Pizza down the street. Hell, even Veraci does the job better. I wish the food here didn't suck because it's actually a nice space with plain as day terrible management and a disgrace to the already abysmal view of Seattle pizza. 0/10

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).
