    Veal Parmesan by request

This was the worst service I've received in Boston in my life! Catalina was our waitress. She was training. The restaurant was no where near busy. And yet we saw her all of 4 times. Waited 10min for her to even come over to us. She didn't offer to take order until after appetizer was completely eaten. She didn't come over again to offer drink refills. She didn't come over until 10min after meal was served, and finally offered a refill on my beer. The food was very good which is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. We won't return to try again. If this is their trainer, I can't imagine the other staff is much better.

Outrageously expensive for the quality of food and overall experience. It's such a shame because the restaurant itself is beautiful and has so much potential. I ordered the vodka pasta with grilled chicken, and there were barely two small pieces of chicken in the entire dish. The pasta was extremely dry, as if it had little to no sauce at all. Overall it was a very disappointing dining experience and I would not recommend it.

    Private dining area

Everything was fantastic. We had the private dining area for 18 people. The staff was very attentive and took our drink order straight away. Not long after they brought over all of our appetizers. The menu was quite extensive, lots of great options to choose from. The lobster ravioli was very good. You can also add extra lobster on top, which I did. Huge chunks of lobster. Very filling. We also enjoyed a round of after dinner drinks. Staff was extremely polite and attentive. I'll have to check out the Serafina closer to my house, because my experience here was 10/10! Loved the private dining room with videos of Italy on the screen in the backdrop too!

The appetizers here are good, I really liked the octopus and the fries smelled and tasted great and it was great portion size for a large group. I got the short rib pasta which tasted fine but not super stand outish. A friend ordered the branzino though which I would recommend. This was my first time but maybe family style would be best here? I would love to try a bit of each. Everything was appetizing and a great place for a team dinner. But not a place I would frequent

    Dry Rigatoni Alla Bolognese

I had dinner at Serafina Seaport with a party of 10, and the experience was a mix. The calamari and mussels were amazing, honestly the highlight of the night. My main dish, the bolognese, was decent but nothing to rave about. It definitely needed more sauce. For the price point, I expected better. I dine out often and spend well, so I noticed right away that even something as simple as the water felt overpriced, a small that I would usually pay the same for a large elsewhere. Service was decent, but I was a little annoyed that the server did not write down who ordered what. Instead, food came out with the staff announcing and guessing at the table. With a party of 10, that just feels sloppy. If I return, it will be solely for the mussels.

    Cioppino, Melanzane Parmigiana
    Eva A.

We ordered the Cioppino by the waiter's recommendation and the Melanzane parmigiana. The cioppino didn't have nearly as much seafood as we were hoping for, it was mostly the tomatoes and broth. The eggplant parm was tasty but heavy on the cheese. We had stopped by for a chat, less so for the food- but if I were to return I would try the pasta for sure. Service was attentive, we sat on the patio and didn't feel forgotten about :)

    The Evergreen Cocktail

Read a great seat on the street. The weather was beautiful. The server was fantastic. The drinks were phenomenal. I got the Paloma while my husband got the Evergreen. We were just stopping for a snack and a drink so we had the tuna tart. I kind of wish that they cut the tuna a little bit smaller and marinated it a little longer so it was a little more flavorful and easier to get a lot on a chip, but everything was tasty. We would go back for sure

    Shakshuka, Truffle Benedict

I enjoyed my brunch at Serafina! I have wanted to try this place for a while. I ordered the Shakshuka - it was very flavorful and well spiced, and it tasted fresh. I also liked the twist with the added olives. The ambience of this place is beautiful - the decor is pretty and the vibe feels very comforting and casual while also chic. The servers are very friendly too. Also, I had put in the reservation that it was my dad's birthday, and they got us a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a pleasant surprise. My dad said his dessert tasted great. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!

We always eat at the bar because we love to watch the Sox as we eat the best gluten free pizza in Boston. I have spent a small fortune on their spicy margs and I'm obsessed with the buttery, rich, garlic drenched alfredo that isn't on the menu but definitely on the POS ipad. The bar staff is incredible and even when there are tables available, we still opt for the bar. If you want a MCM spot with the warm lighting, delicious pasta, and cocktails made from local beloved bartenders, Serafina is the spot. The only tip I would give is to pace yourself because the food is legitimately rich. I've had friends underestimate the strength of the cocktails bc they're so tasty and then struggle with being able to handle the succulent dishes. You've been warned!

    Pasta carbonara- so good!
    Sireesha R.

I loved the ease of eating here. The menu is large and has something for everyone. Vegetarians- get the spaghetti but ask to add veggies. The kids loved the menu and the bread they give. My favorite was the pasta carbonara- enough to share for sure. Didn't try dessert but the location and service were excellent. After eating take a stroll over to fan pier - it's stunning. The ambiance is good - dont have to dress up but certainly can. Overall a good spot if youre in the Seaport area.

    Basic salad with seared tuna

Got lucky and was seated immediately without a reservation on a Wednesday 6:30pm evening. Water was served promptly and our server came to take our order within the first 10 min. Nothing was bad about the service, but nothing stood out. Unfortunately, I have to say the same about the food. We ordered a basic salad with seared tuna (lettuce with shaves carrots and a few spices of cucumber and tomato), the spaghetti squash dish, gnocchi with meatballs (gnocchi was gummy ), and orecchiette pasta with sausage. For the price, I expected more; however, I guess you're also paying for ambiance/location, and atmosphere. Not bad but in my opinion, not great.

    Taryn L.

The restaurant is gorgeous, clean, plenty of room for a large party etc. I came here with my sister who enjoyed the lemon ricotta pancakes. I however am someone with celiac disease and I found the brunch menu very very limited. The staff was so kind and did point out 2 options I could have for breakfast. They make gluten free pizza and pasta here but I was here for brunch and was really hoping to be able to have one of the eggs Benedict. But they don't have any gluten free bread. The hash browns are also not celiac safe as they're fried in a shared fryer. If there were just some gluten free options like pancakes, avocado toast, a breakfast hash etc, it would be amazing. Again, the staff did their best. I just think in 2025 that some gluten free bread should at least be available.

Super delicious, great & lively ambiance, service was friendly & fast. We originally had an hour wait for a Saturday night, but was seated within 1 minute after arrival which was perfect because we were starving!

Without hesitation he said "New York Pizza. It's just a couple blocks away". And off we went, walking the streets of Boston to get pizza, having no idea what we were heading towards. When we arrived we were greeted with a storefront and order-at-the-counter pizza. Not what I was expecting, but I was OK with it. We looked at the menu and -- WOW -- the pizza options were nearly endless! I'm guessing about two dozen pizza varieties with more combinations of toppings that I thought were mathematically possible. And these pizzas were H U G E ! There are about a dozen tables and not enough chairs at New York Pizza, so if you find an empty chair - hey, fair game. We managed to get 4 chair for our high top four top. While we were placing our order I asked the guy behind the counter if this place was always this busy. He said "busy? This is slow!". I can't even imagine, because every table was occupied. Aside from the menu boards and the music (they were playing a varied playlist of 80s, 90s, and 2000s), it wasn't big on décor, but it suited it's purpose. I imagine the do a pretty significant takeout business. After about 2 minutes of consideration we landed on a Meat Lover's pizza. After a day of A LOT of walking, a pizza with pepperoni, ham, and sausage sounded 100% perfect. I looked like a lot of pizza. And I recall thinking "there's no way the four of us can eat a pizza that big!". (more on that later). There is no soda fountain so your beverage came out of a can or bottle from a refrigerator. Fast forward about 12 minutes and our pizza was called. It. Was. Freaking. Enormous. And it looked SOOO good. And it was hot. I mean HAWT! It was so hot we had to let it set for about 5 minutes before we could grab a slice. (non sequitur) I've never been a fan of folding pizza in half. I've given shade to people who fold pizza in half quite a few times. After much consideration, I now feel like I need to apologize to those people. This pizza was so big and the crust so thin that you had to fold it in half...and I'm going to sheepishly admit that I embraced the folding of the pizza slice. For one thing, to keep from scalding the inside of my mouth, and to keep from wearing pizza sauce on either side of you face like Joker. The pizza amazingly delicious and we ate with abandon. Seriously. Remember how I said the four of us could never eat a pizza that large? I lied.

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)
