I've never been to this sephora because i always go to the one across the bridge. I was hesitant because the customer service over there is not so great but i came in yesterday around 6:00pm because i wanted to stock up on dip eyebrow products. I asked for help thinking they would mess up matching my eyebrows but let me tell you the lady who attended me was super sweet! She taught me how to be careful with the product and how to fill in my eyebrows properly! Im sad i didn't catch her name but ill definitely be back to this sephora instead of the one across the bridge! read more

One of the best Sephoras I have ever been to. My other favorite location is the Downtown Disney one. Service is excellent every single time I come while the South Coast location is a hit or miss. It is quieter and less crowded which I like. However if I just want to browse and be left alone I'd rather go to the South Coast one. The service here is a little too good sometimes. Whenever I need help selecting products or recommendations they are always attentive and friendly. Cashiers are super friendly too. I was shocked to find out that they don't work on commission here. Instead they take their customer service surveys very seriously which also explains it. If you are in need of help with anything this is the location to go to but if you just want to browse without being bothered you should go to the South Coast one. Also this place has a bigger selection of perfumes than South Coast. read more

She's not always in when I go bit the few times she's helped me I've found more then I'm looking for and I feel like I learn something new. DRE always makes my experience worth while! She's the best! Everyone is extremely nice and very helpful. They never act judgemental which is a problem I've encountered in other beauty stores. They always pay attention to what I want and don't just try to push me into the most expensive product. I buy all of my beauty products here because they help me test out what will work best for me. I once wanted a certain eyeliner because I had heard good things about it, but the girl showed me a different one that worked much better for me because I have a twitch that causes me to make mistakes often. It was a better product for my needs and I really appreciate her taking the time to find the best fit for my needs. read more

The staff here were incredibly helpful! I came to return something I'd purchased online; return was hassle free. Love their perfume selection! I'd been looking for a new brow product and having terrible trouble finding something as a redhead, (is it just me or are all the "auburn" products still just brown?!). After mentioning it to one of the associates, Laura, she remembered an old Make Up For Ever eye shadow that was discontinued that she thought would be perfect; she went in the back and found the last one they had and demoed it on me. I literally love going to this Sephora. Ramsey was an AMAZING make up artist. He should honestly get a raise. He did my winter formal make up and prom and my face was beat af!!! This is by far my favorite Sephora store ever!!! You can always find what you are looking for at this location!! They will have it in stock. I had placed an order on line during the vib sale and the dropped the ball big time and didn't send me one of the items I ordered they sent me something totally wrong. This item was sold out online and they told me to call around to different stores to see if they had it in stock. So I did I called the big stores first and they were out and when I called they person who picked up the phone was lovey and so helpful, then I spoke to the acting store manager Roxanne and she was so understanding to the problem I had and they held it aside so me to pick up. I have to say, this past weekend experience was the best I've had at this Sephora. I'm an Esthetician who focused more on waxing and facials during school time. I love and hate make up. Hate it because I rather not wear it or rather not wear too much of it. Love it because it can cover things you want hidden. My experience with this sephora is that you get judged by these ladies who wear flawless make up and they end up avoiding you and not helping you because you don't have dramatic makeup like them. I came in, it was super busy but some associates were free to help. After searching around for a bit, grabbing some product, I finally decided to approach an associate. This associate, looked like perhaps she oversaw most other associates, found another associate to assist me [Francine]. Unsure why she didn't help me but needless to say, I'm so happy she did. Francine was great and asked what it was I wanted out of the selected product I chose. She showed me the same brand, Clinique CC/BB cream but specifically for problem skin, exactly what I was concerned of. She's also a licensed Esthetician and I was happy she helped. I just applied the make up and it looks flawless under my Jane Iredale Matte Finish powder. Thank You Francine for helping me find the right fit. read more

Out of all the locations in OC, this is my favorite. I will go out of my way to go to this Sephora because of the customer service. Friendly, super helpful, and always happy to make samples (which if I ordered online, I would get automatically, so I don't understand why other Sephoras can be stingy when it comes to them, especially since if I end up liking the sample, I'll come back and send even more money). I love Sephora, I'm like a kid walking in a candy store every time I go to one! I spend my time and I always walk away with more than I expected. I am an OC resident and was disappointed when I came here, because the staff aren't very friendly and accommodating with me. I couldn't find a specific blush I wanted so I asked an employee if they still had it in stock. She was pretty rude and didn't even know when they will have it again. She didn't even check the back or asked when their next shipment is going to come in for that specific item. I didn't get a clear answer. The cashier wasn't friendly & helpful either. I prefer going to the other Sephora, on the other side of SouthCoast right across Bloomingdales. I had a way better experience over there, even during a hectic Holiday Season! I came here because I needed to get my Color IQ number. I was a little nervous going in because of other Sephora reviews i've read where the staff is reluctant to help, etc. We walk in and are greeted (good sign #1). I went straight for the Kat Von D display and started looking for the products I wanted to buy, a minute later the greeter asks if we need any help and a basket (good sign #2), I said yes and i'd like to figure out what my Color IQ is. she asked my name, then asked someone if they could help, she said it would be about 15 minutes and that i could browse the store and they would find me when they're ready. less than 15 minutes later a very chipper girl named Dani arrives and asks me a few questions like what kind of foundation do i use, powder or liquid? I said powder and that I really wanted to try Kat von D but was worried because some people with pale skin said it was orangey and I went from having sickly pale skin and now since i've been in the sun a little more i'm back to looking healthier, but have no clue which shade i am. she was very glad to help and took me over to the station and went through the whole process. After that was done, went over to the Kat Von D display again. After cleaning up the powder she tried it on my face and it was a perfect match ( she also asked me how I got my skin to look so pretty and if I exfoliate. she was so sweet!)! she also stayed long enough for me to ask her about which shade of blush would work on me and she put the one on she thought would look best and it did! Then, my mom asked about the Beauty Blender Bundle online and she said that yes it was only online and that I should apply my foundation with a brush first and then blend it out with the Beauty Blender so that it will last a lot longer. Absolutely not impressed with this locations customer service. I walked in today looking for the new Anastasia Nicole Glow kit. I missed the opportunity to get it online so when I looked to see what stores carried it, it showed that both Sephora's at South Coast had them in stock. I usually go to the one next to Bloomingdales but I went to the one next to crate and barrel instead. I walked in and approached one of the associates asking her to help me locate the glow. She said she needed to look into it. When she came back, she said that they didn't have it, and at the same time another associate approached and said that they would not be released until tomorrow. I told them that I had a friend that purchased it at a store recently and one of them responded that they shouldn't have and that there would be ramifications for those stores that have sold it. I guess my point is that they both had really bad attitude and as I thanked them and walked away they began to gossip. It really made me uncomfortable to be there and I've never experience anything but kindness when I shop at other locations. Nick, I believe one of the managers was AMAZING. I thought I lost my wallet at Sephora after making a purchase. Mind you, my mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just a week ago and so of course, I haven't been thinking straight. I was actually at Sephora getting some little gifts for her. Well, I called to see if someone could help me find my wallet. And Nick was just so understanding of the whole situation and did everything possible to make me feel they would do what they could on their end to try to help me find it. I'm embarrassed to say, I found my wallet in my car (even though I had already looked for it there twice). I guess third times a charm. But I do have to say, there's a part of me that was glad to have lost it because it helped me know again that there are some pretty amazing people out there like Nick that are kind and willing to help, even though they don't even know you.
