Me and my boyfriend decided to try this place out since it's close to his house and it was super welcoming and had a nice vibe to it. We decided to get the spicy chicken bowl and it was delicious. Bomb! My wife and I ordered the pork belly bowl, spicy pork bowl, and some mandu. Everything was so good! With today's economy, the price is solid for a bowl because of the food quality and taste. The pork belly and spicy pork bowl wasn't salty..just flavor. They also don't skimp out on the portion and it also included some veggies in the bowl, which I loved. Came on my lunch break. Girl was very friendly when I ordered my food. She said it would be 5-10 min I decided to wait outside since the place is tiny. I went back for my food 6-7 min later. Noone was in the front to pick up my order so I took a seat.. I see the cook bring out a customers food to their table that was next to me. He didn't acknowledge me. I continue to wait.. noone bothers to check on customers I'm sitting there alone looking their way the place is small they saw me.. I would think someone would ask if they can help me but everyone was in the back leaving the register unattended for I believe is too long. 2 people walk in I'm like oh good someone will come out now.. Well one of them goes straight behind the counter to the register I'm confused they're not customers they work there? Maybe shift change? Instead of attending me shes talking with the person she comes in with while I'm looking at them then 2 other people who were seated jump up and hug them both so 4 people are standing all hugging each including staff while I stare at them and my food sitting on the counter. Like seriously.. finally the girl that took my order popped out and almost went back to the back until I waived her down like hey she didn't even know who I was smh I said I'm waiting on my order.. she's like oh it's ready perfect no not perfect it's been sitting there like I have! My food was semi cold and it was mushy so it must've been made less than 5 min. The food seemed good flavorful but the experience threw me off and made me upset I had to go back to work and I can't stand cold and mushy food.. it also comes in a cardboard container which I dont care for.. Just ok. Misled that this was rated so high. Fried chicken was the best item, but the rest was more like Korean fast food.

The food was quite good, tasty and authentic. Generous portions mean you will not be hungry, and you will be properly filled up as a good Korean meal should do. However, if you are averse to spicy food, you may want to opt for something milder than what I ended up getting (this is my first time). Growing up with a Korean mom, I learned about foods from her side of the family and knew well the different iterations and degrees of spicy. I ordered the beef bulgogi bowl, which had rice and meat, and came with kimchi, broccoli, carrots, and another pinkish vegetable I couldn't identify. While waiting I grabbed napkins, chopsticks, and water from the self-service areas. When the food was served and the server asked if we wanted anything extra like soy sauce or Sriracha, I requested Sriracha. I ended up never opening the Sriracha, but I did use all the napkins I had brought wiping my runny nose, as well as consuming all the water in addition to my shik-kae (traditional rice drink). If you have a stuffy nose, this is the place for you. My sinuses and my husband's were clean after the first bite. I found myself burrowing for broccoli and carrots and anything else to quench the fire in my mouth. At first, I thought it was great that my husband kept putting all the jalapeños from his bowl into my bowl because I like a little spice. The spice level in that bowl made the jalapeños seem like sweet cherry tomatoes and they cooled my mouth down. I am not exaggerating. It was super hard to have a conversation. I felt like I was on that show "Hot Ones." Now I grew up with pretty spicy food, but I was the least tolerant of spice in my family. However, by general standards I can handle spice pretty well. So hear me when I say, this food was very spicy, okay? It's not regular spicy, it's "old Korean lady" spicy, and I can say that since my mom was one and now I am too. My siblings always tease me about how I don't know any good Korean food spots with the kind of spice level my mom used to whip up. I can't wait to bring them here, I really can't. read more

I was greeted as soon as I stepped inside by the wonderful cashier who's name is julie, she mentioned they had just opened up this place january of 2024 so they're not as known yet but I hope this review boosts their business as everything in their menu is very authentic and delicious, I got a spicy pork bowl and fried dumplings which were amazing !! Every bowl purchase comes with a stamp card which if you purchase often and accumulate stamps you'll get a free bowl ! Who doesn't love the idea of something free ! Ambience is very quiet and mellow great for those who might need to study and catch a quick food break, I would recommend this place to those wanting to try something new in town or even for those in surrounding areas, also did I mention all of their prices are insanely affordable !!!! Food is absolutely amazing! The bowl contains rice (white or purple rice) along with kimchi, onions, broccoli, and chose the spicy chicken as the option. The green sauce given with the bowl was such a hit, and found myself pouring all of it into the bowl. Also ordered the Soy Garlic Korean Fried Chicken, perfectly crispy and delicious. Bulgogi bowl Tofu bowl and the bork belly were all so delicious! Their kimchi tasted fresh the gyoza wasn't salty and had a distinct umami taste. The purple rice reminded me of my childhood when my grandma would always cook us purple rice. I will try their chicken next because the chicken portion of the dokari was really tasty. I love their green sauce and japchae tasted really good too.. happy with everything I got.. will go back.... to top it all the service from the young lad was good too.. he wore his gloves and was very courteous! read more
