This place is my jam - good food at a good price. I got the pork belly dosirak (basically a bento box). I love having a lot of different options to try in a meal so I was so happy to see this was an option! The pork belly was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well - I barely had to use the sauce they gave for it on the side. We also got the rice cakes, I definitely recommend those too. What really takes this to a 5 star is the warm friendly service from everyone who works there as well as the nice touches such as free instant coffee if you dine in! I can't wait to return. One of my favorite parts was the tiger's painting. She (one of the owners) told me it represented her mother, her, and her sister. If you're new to Korean food, start with the beef bulgogi, Galbi (short ribs), or fried chicken bowls. They're loaded with sweet and savory goodness and the chicken isn't too spicy if you're sensitive to heat. And don't miss out on their incredible sauces, especially the green jalapeno cilantro sauce, which is just insanely good on everything. They should bottle and sell it so I can buy it by the caseload. This has become my new favorite Korean spot. The restaurant is nice and clean and modern and the service was exceptional. For food I tried there beef Gogi, rice, rice, bowl with the purple rice. I also tried the Korean Bento box with the pork belly. there are beef Kimbap and their Korean fried chicken in the sweet and spicy. I don't think anyone has ever been friendlier or happier to help explain the menu and give recommendations. I got the spicy pork bowl after i couldn't make up my mind and was told it was really good. It was. Really good. The meat was super tender and fresh. The veggies perfectly cooked. The rice was just the way I like it. One of the reviews I had read was about the friend chicken so I had to try that. 10/10. It was crunchy and juicy. The sauce was honestly so good. I couldn't recommend this to you more. Go try it! I ordered the bulgogi bowl and it was definitely a good choice. Very good value for $13, it also came with a side of avocado cream sauce that was super yummy the bowl had a good ratio of rice to meat and veggies. The ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful! The meat was well-seasoned and the perfect texture. Next time, I want to try the fried chicken. This was the soft opening, so the menu was limited. A beef dosirak comes beef, rice, japchae, sides (kimchi, vegetables, seasoned broccoli), dumplings, and a sample of fried chicken. A hearty meal and one that will leave you well satisfied. 3) They LISTEN. I order from them on Uber Eats and usually, whenever I do with other restaurants, they always mess up an order or forget something. Seoul Bap is one of the few places I trust to get any substitutions or edits correct. I have a lot of dietary restrictions, so it means a lot that they care enough to pay attention. It shows that they value their customers. 4) It's a mother-daughter run shop. What's not to love about that? I'd say the place is well run and in amazing hands.
