Thank you for the Fred beef and broccoli with vegetables May. I love this place and they are like family. Fresh food, clean and great vibe environment to dine in with quiet and peaceful

I have eaten here many times and they have many vegan options out after finding a bug in my food I will no longer eat here... i called and the lady said "not possible" and the line disconnected.. i love there food and understand flys can try to eat food but it isn't ok in my opinion.

Chicken with vegetables, white rice and an Egg Roll

Got lunch here the other day, I ordered on the phone for a takeout order. 15 minutes later or so I went to picked it up, the lady inside was nice. Indoors it's small inside only a few tables. I got the chicken with mixed vegetables and some white rice and an egg roll. Everything tasted pretty good. The prices here are on the cheaper side as well. Not a bad Chinese spot!

If I could give zero stars I would. The shrimp and lobster sauce was fishy. Our shrimp rolls were burnt and tasted old. The spare ribs were like biting into a rubber band. They looked pretty but tasted like road kill. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and there response was can you bring the food back? I ordered delivery for a reason. I wouldn't order from this place ever.

We love the variety available on Pasar Malam's menu. Beyond the typical Thai dishes there is a lot…read moreof Chinese dishes available. All of the dishes we ordered were enjoyable. We especially enjoyed this taro vegetable dish we ordered - the taro comes in a deep fried ring shape surrounding all the veggies and shrimp. The drunken noodle was also really good - really nice sized shrimp in their dishes. The Hainan chicken (they call it PM chicken) is not as flavorful as other places we've had this at. I wouldn't order the curry beef next time - it's a bowl of curry sauce (although delicious) with a few pieces of beef stew; you really need it eat it with a bowl of rice and we're trying to reduce our carb intake. Overall good service. And also BYOB!

As other reviewers have commented, Pasar Malam is in the former Penang location. My family and I…read morewere fans of Penang, so I was happy to see that a similar establishment opened in its place. Pasar Malam lives up to the stellar food of its predecessor with service that is much better than the former. On a Saturday evening, there were several patrons. We ordered Thai chicken lettuce wraps for an appetizer. For main entrees the Drunken Noodle and Kari Mee with Redang Chicken. Everything was delicious, flavorful and plentiful in portion size. The menu seemed similar to Penang. However they have added bubble teas and more drinks. Prices were very reasonable. The interior was not as dark. Perhaps, the addition of more overhead lights of just some fresh paint. I will definitely be back to try the lunch specials. Note: credit card service charge added to bill.

This is the most expensive Thai restaurant we've been to. Made the mistake of not looking at the…read moreprices before visiting and only judging by photos. For 2 entrees, 1 soup appetizer, and a Thai iced tea - the bill came to $85. With tip and paying by cash, it ended up being $100 for below average food. Crazy! They also add a 4% surcharge for credit cards on top of their already ridiculous prices. One can only imagine their rent must be off the charts. Tamarind duck $45 - the duck was sooo dry and barely had much meat with each piece. Mostly bone. A lot of mixed veggies. I had so much better duck at Chinese super markets. This must be old, frozen duck and a dish that doesn't get ordered that frequently. Tom yum noodle soup $20 - literally just soup with 4 pieces of large shrimp and pad thai noodles. Lacking veggies and no other toppings to balance the dish out. Thai iced tea $6 Tom kha gai soup appetizer $9 The service was ok- was asked multiple times how we were doing and the food came out at a decent time but holy cow! Extremely overpriced for mediocre food at a casual Thai restaurant.

I've been meaning to write a review for Coco. This has become my go-to spot for Chinese/Malaysian…read morefood. They have a killer beef chow kweh teow. It's like an elevated Cantonese beef chow fun ("wok hei" and all). One of the best in Jersey, and that's saying a lot because I don't normally like that dish! Some dishes are hit or miss, but once you find YOUR dish, you'll order it every time. The service is always quick! I'm in and out of there in less than an hour. It's never too crowded either. Plus the ambiance is like a an old school Asian person's house which just makes me feel at home. None of that modern clean-washing that other restaurants keep doing. Originality is so hard to find nowadays and I love that Coco has its own unique charm!

We finally made it here after exhausting all the nearby restaurants. The restaurant is medium in size, with pale yellow walls and cushy burgundy seats covering the dark brown floors. Framed black and white photos adorn the leftmost wall while the name of the restaurant is on the rightmost wall along with a framed painting. Finally, in the back, you can see the counter, which has a lucky cat and some plants on it, as well as a large painting of pink flowers in a pond behind it all. We ordered the following: Baby oyster omelet, which has pan fried baby oyster omelet with chives- this was delicious. We haven't had this for a while and enjoyed it a lot. Golden fried eggplant, which is lightly fried eggplant with cubes of bell peppers and onions. We all liked this dish a lot, as well. It was nicely fried. Claypot egg noodle, which has pearl noodle with minced pork, shrimp, squid, bean sprout in egg gravy. We've been looking for this entree for a while. Last time Hubs had this was 15 years ago and it was 30 years ago for me. Hubs loved this dish. Basil fish filet, which is stir fried fish filet with bell peppers, onions, basil leave and mushrooms. I thought this looked sweet and sour and was surprised it wasn't. Daughter liked it a lot and was addicted. Hubs was shocked at how flavorful it was. There were plenty of onion and peppers. There is parking in the back of the building but we managed to find a parking space in the front. It's a little tricky parking there but we managed. Service was quick and minimal. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
