If I could give zero stars I would. The shrimp and lobster sauce was fishy. Our shrimp rolls were burnt and tasted old. The spare ribs were like biting into a rubber band. They looked pretty but tasted like road kill. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and there response was can you bring the food back? I ordered delivery for a reason. I wouldn't order from this place ever.

Great food! Lots of vegetarian options which is really nice. Love the veggie rolls and the veggie sesame chicken

    Wonton soup. Pretty good!

When you think Jersey shore, Chinese cuisine is not the first thing that comes to mind. So what do you do when you have a hankering for it and in you're in the Brick neighborhood? Come to Sentosa restaurant. I have a feeling they are more of a takeout than sit in place because no one was there when we arrived (or maybe because it was a Sunday afternoon) but the woman working was so polite and pleasant that it didn't matter. The only reason I'm taking off two stars is because the tap water tasted a little like bell peppers (she did offer bottled but I was being frugal) and there were not as many vegan options for my friend as we would have liked. My food was great! Not too greasy or heavy and they had a variety of interesting dishes to choose from. I will definitely be ordering from them again when I'm down there.

    Vegan wonton soup! Yum.

My go-to for AMAZING vegan Chinese!!! Always fresh, always delicious. So happy Door Dash delivers from there now! My favorite dish is Sweet & Sour Tofu, the egg rolls and wonton soup!

A friend of mine suggested Sentosa for their vegan menu- not just a few offerings but a rather decent sized list of things to choose from. My husband and I always start our meals off with an appetizer of sunshine ribs which never disappoint. The place is small but the food is always delicious every time and the service is always very polite and pleasant. I'd love to see even more added to the vegan options but I'm rather impressed and delighted with what is already available. This has become a weekly visit for us on Friday nights to travel from ocean TWP to Brick. Little tip: order the sunshine ribs and the tso's veg chicken. You won't be disappointed!

Supposed to be Chicken Pad Thai, unfortunately it's just albino rice noodles no sauce to be found!

My family and I…read morewere fans of Penang, so I was happy to see that a similar establishment opened in its place. Pasar Malam lives up to the stellar food of its predecessor with service that is much better than the former. On a Saturday evening, there were several patrons. We ordered Thai chicken lettuce wraps for an appetizer. For main entrees the Drunken Noodle and Kari Mee with Redang Chicken. Everything was delicious, flavorful and plentiful in portion size. The menu seemed similar to Penang. However they have added bubble teas and more drinks. Prices were very reasonable. The interior was not as dark. Perhaps, the addition of more overhead lights of just some fresh paint. I will definitely be back to try the lunch specials. Note: credit card service charge added to bill.

We especially enjoyed this taro vegetable dish we ordered - the taro comes in a deep fried ring shape surrounding all the veggies and shrimp. The drunken noodle was also really good - really nice sized shrimp in their dishes. The Hainan chicken (they call it PM chicken) is not as flavorful as other places we've had this at. I wouldn't order the curry beef next time - it's a bowl of curry sauce (although delicious) with a few pieces of beef stew; you really need it eat it with a bowl of rice and we're trying to reduce our carb intake. Overall good service. And also BYOB!

I thought that was odd but okay. Since I've never frequented this establishment before, I always order the Drunken Tofu Noodle along with curry puffs to see how it is. It's my barometer for judging how they are as a Thai restaurant. The server mentioned their curry puffs contain chicken as an ingredient. I was fine with that. The server boasted that they make it in-house, so I was looking forward to it. After she placed it down and I took my first bite, I was expecting it to be crunchy as it's fried. I was met with it firstly, with it being room temperature. Taking my initial bite, I was disappointed with the lack of crispness. The stuffing inside was also very mushy, and it was supposed to be chicken curry puffs. I was, however, able to taste the curry powder, so that was good. The Drunken Noodle had American broccoli and baby corn in lieu of onions and carrots for vegetables. I was expecting the usual long flat noodles, but the flat noodles appeared to be broken into shorter pieces. At the time of my ordering, I had no idea it didn't come with the standard tofu because they kept asking if I wanted shrimp, chicken, or beef. I was surprised when they upcharged me an extra $2 for the fried tofu. My stomach was bothering me today, so I asked for it to be mild. It definitely took me by surprise as it was spicier than I planned for. It was extremely greasy; however, the taste of chili paste was evident, giving it a good flavor. After finishing up, the employee asked me a couple of times if I desired any dessert, to which both times, I indicated I was quite full, declined, thanked them, and requested the check. I could see the clear disappointment on their face. The ambiance is quite beautiful, and their food was tasty. Being seated at a booth allowed me to feel deliciously isolated and get some reading done.

The flatbread was perfectly flaky, soft, and buttery, just as you'd hope, and it paired wonderfully with the rich curry and lentil sauces for dipping. It's a must-order starter that sets the tone for the meal. The other dishes we tried were all pretty good with nice, strong flavors, but they didn't necessarily stand out from other Malaysian spots we've visited. They have a wide menu featuring classics you'd expect, like Nasi Lemak, Beef Rendang, and various Laksa soups. Everything was executed well and felt authentic, capturing that harmonious blend of Malay, Chinese, and Indian influences that defines the cuisine. Overall, it's a reliable and welcoming spot for a satisfying Malaysian meal. While most dishes felt familiar, the Roti Canai alone is a compelling reason to visit. It's a great choice if you're in the area and craving those specific, spice-filled flavors.

The dreary interior I am used to. I'll visit a hole in the wall and eat the food no questions asked. However when the tables are sticky, the menus leave a nasty dirty grease film on your fingers, that should be another tell tale sign to run. The prices were insane. each dim sum dish started at around $4.95 each. Even the most expensive Dim sum eateries, they run around $2.95 to $4.50 for a large dim sum dish. We ordered the classics Sui Mai, Har Kow, Black bean spare ribs, some fried dumplings, and I got a chicken corn egg drop soup. The food was terrible. Har Kow was probably from the multipack I can buy at the local chinese supermarket, the big 20 package that you get from the freezer. The Siu Mai came 3 per order.. not 4... Black bean spare ribs were 100% frozen, and you could see the congealed cooked blood in the sauce and on the spare ribs. Egg drop soup had an ungodly amount of yellow food coloring in it. The only saving grace was the Fried Dumplings. while small in size, they were tasty and edible. All in all, even if you're desperate for chinese dim sum. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.
