The mango sticky rice was is sooo good! One of the best places for the dessert. Many selection of Asian dishes, even Filipino food. When I came they had sizzling sisig, pancit bihon etc. The pad see ew was lacking flavor, but there are a variety of tasty dishes to choose from. I came hungry and left with my belly full and happy.

Coco is the closest thing to authentic Southeast Asian food in central Jersey. The service is so quick- your food will take no more than 15-20 mins to come out. Our go to dishes are: +Hainanese chicken rice- the rice that's paired is actually chicken flavored like the OG. +Coco house special tofu - fried egg tofu with squid, shrimp, and veggies +Salt and pepper pork chop- so crispy and flavorful +Kang kung belacan -spicy water spinach stir fry +Kuay teow- delicious stir fried rice noodles Coco also has a separate menu for Filipino food. Ample parking in the back. Hot tea is on the house. Spacious restaurant for group dine ins.

The restaurant offers Thai, Malaysian, and Chinese cuisines. We had roti canso as the starter and it was great. We ordered massaman curry chicken which the curry was a bit too sweet for me. We also ordered yam pot chicken instead of the yam pot seafood on the menu. My friend enjoyed it though he was charged the same price as the yam pot seafood. We also ordered massaman coco special tofu which my friend said was ok. The service was good and attentive. It's not a fancy restaurant, good for family.

Talk about an unassuming hole in the wall? As I drove through Edison, I had a hankering for some Malaysian food! This restaurant popped up on yelp, and I decided to give it a whirl. Now do not expect extreme cleanliness or an upmarket vibe when you walk into a place like this - you won't be disappointed if you are simply looking for great food. I walked in at 5:13 PM, sat down, had a menu brought to me very quickly. I knew exactly what I wanted Roti Canai, and some chicken and potato curry. I swear to God, I did not wait more than five minutes before the food arrived piping hot at my table! The roti was just awesome! And the curry chicken? Absolutely great. I am not joking. I walked out of the restaurant after having arrived eaten and paid after only 25 minutes! And let me tell you the roti was hot, hot, hot, and extremely tasty! Next time I go to Newark for business? I will come here to eat. And if you have not tried Malaysian food? You are missing out on a delightful cuisine!

Decided to give this place another shot and it wasn't bad. Came by at almost 2 on a Saturday, and there were a few tables dining at that time. I had the Chow kueh teow, and ordered it with the thin noodles but they brought the flat noodles, which we just kept since we were kind of on a schedule. The noodles were pretty good (unlike the basil flat noodles I had the last time for takeout). Hubby decided to be adventurous and ordered from the Filipino menu at a Malaysian restaurant (not sure why), and it was a mistake. He had the sizzling sisig, which just tasted like leftover pork they refried with some onions and other spices. I probably won't be back for a third time. They're doing too much with all the different types of cuisines they have going on. Their decor could also use an update. Everything looks old and dingy.

All very tasty : Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, Fried Tofu, Claypot Egg Noodles, Sisig, free soup, Hainanese Chicken, Curry Beef Brisket, Malaysian Satay Beef. Service was good during weekday lunch hours. Easy parking in front & back.

A very good Thai spot along the highway. My favorite dish by far was the curry beef brisket casserole. I wish I could drink that sauce every day... Service was okay. We had a large group and may have ordered too fast. When we double checked the order, something was missing and we asked to add the missing item. The waitress's voice suddenly got very aggressive which caught us offguard. Besides that, everything else was quick and the staff was pleasant to deal with.

This restaurant is branded Malaysian/Thai but I think it leans more towards Malaysian. It looks like they specialize in curry because a lot of the tables near me ordered some sort of curry. So I tried the Malaysian vegetable curry dish and added chicken. The food came out pretty quickly and tasted great! Not too salty and the tofu added a nice touch. The dish stayed warm for a while too so that was nice. It comes with a side of rice. All of the servers were very friendly and the service was fast. They were very busy for lunch on a Sunday. Seems like a popular spot for locals. *They add a 15% service charge for all dine in orders, but as a result, they don't accept tips! I would definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Coco's is always a favorite of mine, and I recently brought some friends with me for some yummy but fairly priced asian food. As always, the servers were incredibly welcoming and friendly - some of them speak multiple languages and will converse with you in your native one, which is a fun talent! I didn't tell my guests that this would happen and they were so pleasantly surprised. The vibe is always very family friendly and down to earth, as the focus here is definitely on the food. We ordered mango tofu, crispy Thai chicken, basil chicken, and the basil pad kee Mao with chicken. My favorites were the pad kee mao and the basil chicken as they were so flavorful and fresh! The taste of the fresh Thai basil came through strongly. The mango tofu swayed more sweet than savory, which wasn't what I was in the mood for at the time. I was also hoping that the crispy Thai chicken would be a little more spicy, but it was very crispy and moist despite the fry on the chicken. We also got Thai iced teas for the table, which never disappoint. Coco's is always the place I think of when I want some warm, hot food to fill up my stomach and they never disappoint!

Staff very friendly. Classic Asian Dive. We started with Roti Cannai. Fried Squid w. Mango and Fried Tofu. Then hainanese chicken with yellow rice. Good was very tasty. If you are In The area give them a try.

Honestly, this is the only soup I get each and every time and each and every time it is slamming! So good! This has chicken and shrimp, but the broth is the strongest, most delectable broth you will ever taste! This is always a hit each and every time this is the only thing I get from here, but I can guarantee that this is five star all the way!

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!

Took 30 mins to get our appetizer, another 20 minutes to order our meals and then another 30 mins to get our food (no I'm not exaggerating it was a near 2 hour experience). I'm really not one to leave a bad review anywhere, but this was just crazy. I really hope we were there on an off day because the place is cool and food was decent, but we just had an awful experience.

It's wrapped in a scallion pancake/parotta type bread. The yellowtail jalapeno was amazing!! Melt in your mouth and packed with flavor! For the price you can't beat it. The usuzukuri was also very good, lighter in flavor though. For rolls we ordered a ton: Out of Control Roll, Spicy Grill Roll, Flying Dragon Roll, Foxy Lady Roll, White Geisha Roll and the Tuna Amazing Roll. All of them were spectacular! We definitely could have eaten more (there were 5 adults). Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and you got a ton of fish in the rolls. Service was attentive, nothing over the top but also not overbearing. I definitely will be coming back here during my next visit.

This restaurant is located in a pretty good spot on Ryders lane where it's easy to get to going north or south, being that left turns are allowed when coming from the south and from the north there's 2 entrances to turn in. Exiting is also not terrible since there's a traffic light to help you make the turns you need to get on the road. The decor is also pretty good. It's a upscale feeling interior. Plenty of parking spots outside. With this said I wondered why it was so dead inside. We had the roti canai which was tasty but too burnt on the outside. My carcinogenic pet peeve. The chicken curry it came with was tasty but too sweet. The pad thai with shrimp tasted pretty good but again it was too sweet. Do people actually want it this way? C'mon let's do better. I understand Thai food is a blend of flavors with one of them being sweet but this was too much. The drunken noodles were delicious but also (to a lesser degree than the pad thai) too sweet. On the bright side they were stir fried well, fresh tasting and the texture of the noodles was good. The service was friendly but forgot our soda order. They told me that next time I can request the sweetness level a little lower. I ordered the drunken noodles with a spicyness level of 2 on a scale of 3 and that was perfect. The stir fry was also fresh and the noodles delicious. The prices are ok. Around 17 a dish which I guess is normal post pandemic. 3.5% cc fee so cash is king to save a few bucks. I would only become a repeat customer if they don't burn or make my food too sweet next time as requested. This is really like a 3.5 star review rounded up because this area is enhanced with much needed diverse dining options.
