I am part of a class action lawsuit against D R Horton home builder here in Marana, AZ. Select Glass was contracted to fix one of my home windows. They came out over 7 months ago to assess the issue with a window balancer. The technician removed the old balancer and said he needed to order a new one and would come back in a couple of weeks. Months went by and I never heard from them again. I contacted Select Glass and informed them. The said they weren't surprised because that technician doesn't work for them anymore. Another technician came out a month ago WITHOUT the balancer and stated he needed to order it and would be back in 1-2 weeks. Never heard from them again. I called them again today and the receptionist said the woman handling my issues was on the phone and would call back in 5-10 minutes. After an hour of waiting, I called back and receptionist stated the woman handling this was in a meeting which is why she didn't call back in 5-10 minutes. I finally get the woman in charge of this circus and she said they just got the part in last Wednesday. I asked if they were still using the Pony Express for ordering and delivering supplies. In any case, she stated they could come out in about 2 more weeks to fix the issue. So, it literally took them almost 9 months to address, and hopefully fix my window balancer. If you have 3/4 of a year to wait, then Select Glass is your number 1 choice...... read more

I schedule first for a Wednesday and was told they would be there between 8-2 and I get a call to be more 3-4 I told them I had work at different location I was willing to do there after the allotted time they no so I rescheduled for a Friday and was told I would be the first appointment between 1-3 and yes you guess my tech was stuck on another job so I was told another 1.5 hours. I waited and still no tech not the original people or his replacement. I called again he is still working on another job this after I was told I would be the first and then I should be seeing his replacement. I wasted two work days on lies. Terrible Arizona customer service strikes again. Waited a month to have our very ordinary jeep JK windshield replaced. Dude, just shut up and Flagstaff and drove all the way from Phoenix to get here. Of course he brought the wrong windshield. These things happen. But the amazing thing is he immediately blamed my wife for providing the wrong year vehicle. The entire interaction was done between our insurance company and select auto glass. Either way. Blaming the customer immediately is amazing customer service for any organization. So not only the day not show up with one of the most common windshields in all of Arizona, but then they blame the customer because they brought the wrong windshield. Sorry to say that this is not unique to select auto glass. Every single auto glass company is absolutely terrible. read more

1) They did not return my phone call after claim was made by my insurance co. 2) They didn't call when they were on their way as they said they would. 3) Most importantly I asked for an Audi Windshield and they said "no problem", well I have a Chinese windshield that doesn't even fit right! Large gap at top of windshield! My insurance company will be hearing from me about this. AND, they didn't put my dash-cam back up, and they said they would! 4) Lastly my rear view mirror fell off! Our insurance company routed the car windshield replacement through their choice of company, so there was the possibility of the job being cheaply done. HOWEVER, Select Glass is a class act from start to finish. They took the time to be on a three way phone call with the insurance company to set this replacement up. Aaron arrived on time as expected. He is respectful (I am old), and he is extremely professional, obviously experienced and a careful worker. He set proper expectations as he communicated each potential concern before he did the job. The glass had been replaced in the past, and the previous installer had not used a quality adhesive. Because of that, he uncovered unusual issues in the installation of the replacement, but had dealt with them in his past experience. I highly recommend this company and Aaron's work. Had one of our windows replaced by these guys this week. They were 1.5 hours late; no call, no apology. The tech's excuse: "I don't start till 6 and I had to load the truck." Really? My husband works in the field too and he prepares his gear the day before when he has an early-morning appt. We set up this appt two weeks ago, so it's not like this was last-minute. When I called the office, they said that they don't book a specific time. But my husband said that he specifically set up 6am with Susie because he has to leave for work. So my husband did leave for work after an hour waiting for them and I had to push my day out to accommodate these guys. Also, what's up with not wearing booties when working in a customer's home??? I had the unfortunate luck if having my RV broken into recently. They smashed the drivers window and took off with my stuff. The first thing I did was open Yelp and look for an auto glass repair place and Select auto glass came up. I gave them a call and explained the situation. They gave me a very reasonable quote and told me it would take 1 day to get the glass in. I agreed and made the appointment for 2 days later. The tech called me about 30 minutes early for the appointment and let me know he was on his way. I met him at the storage place (where I keep my RV) and he started by vacuuming up the broke. Glass that was everywhere. He then proceeded to install the new window and when he was done, he vacuumed again. Summary: very reasonable price, quick service, above and beyond. 5 star company for sure. read more

I called around different places for a comparison price to get my drivers side window replaced. Select Glass quoted me the lowest at $195+tax. I made an appointment and they were able to send someone the following day, to my work, during the hours of 8-3 (SO convenient!). Bryan showed up right around 8am and was very fast and efficient in replacing the window (it was literally 10 minutes!). Later (about an hour) went out to my car to close my windows and saw that the long piece wasn't going through the hole it was supposed to when I lock/unlocked the car. Called Select Glass and a very polite receptionist answered and called the technician Bryan and said she would call me right away once she spoke with him. Within 5 minutes he called me back, I explained what was going on, and he said he was on his way to fix it. Fixed it easily and then went on his way. Absolutely GREAT company with very professional and polite employees. I would, and will, recommend this to anyone looking to get their glass replaced. New Tacoma and the windshield cracked. Select has been out 3 times to repair it. I wait days between visits. The windshield still makes a hissing noise where air is getting in on the lower left side. I will call again but I am not optimistic. I have never had a bad experience with a windshield replacement. read more

Glass is good. I have remote start on my car. When the tech put the wireless controler back on my windshield, he used white double sided sticky tape instead of black. It looks pretty crappy. Other than that, glass is good. Customer service was decent. Although, when I was told I would recieve a call back, I did not. It was the next day. read more

Technician James came out to give me a quote on replacing dual windshields on a 1997 Dolphin motor home. After 3 weeks, I heard nothing. I called and spoke with Brittney, who stated they were not able to replace the glass. I asked if the glass was unavailable or if they were not able to do the job. I also asked if they could recommend another company. Her manager told her to relay to me that they could not accept the job (she added "that's all he'll tell me" ) and no, there were no recommendations. The lack of communication was the worst. It didn't seem that they were interested in good customer service. This manager appears to have an apathetic demeanor towards customers. By brushing me off without any idea what the issue is, I would say he has all the work he needs, so don't bother to call Select Auto Glass. read more

This company apparently has plenty of business as they don't need mine; spoke with a pleasant young lady on the phone, just getting some information. Went online to get my windshield replacement started, completed their online form, which stops at 2014 for vehicle year), anyway completed the form and never heard from them. He did all of this outside, and with the best attitude. I would not recomend this company. I wanted some factory OEM glass installed in my car. They sell cheap after market glass from Mexico for cars & trucks. I did not want that. I wanted original GM glass in my car. They refused to pick up glass ordered at dealership and install. They also wanted to double charge for the glass. They wanted to bill my insurance full price and then as added cost bill me for a very large differnece in cost. After speaking with Britney that has issues with adding and subtracting, I was bumped up to a female owner and then the male owner. All were rude and did not want to quote the job fairly. They wanted to over charge my insurance company and me. Do not use these people for your glass work. read more
