I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

I gave 'em a call and was quickly scheduled. Upon arrival, I was surprised at how beautiful the lobby was and it had lots of nice displays for both home and auto glass. Sarah showed me the different options and tints available in EXPEL. The display made making the choice easy! We then discussed what I wanted to tint. I have a large Ford Expedition, so it was side windows for thee rows of seating and the back glass. I was a little concerned that the rear tint would be damaged by the defrosters, but was told that the tint wouldn't be damaged. And if it were, the warranty would cover it. In addition, have a very large sunroof that extends most of the length of the vehicle. I asked if would be beneficial to do that as well, and was told that it would offer additional protection and that they could take care of that as well for a little extra. So off she went with my vehicle around to the back. I decided to wait for my vehicle while it was tinted. Two minutes later we had an appointment in a few days. They could have repaired the next day but I had prior commitments. Don't be deterred by the area. Building is small with very little parking. Inside is clean and tidy. I was quoted 1.5 or 2 hours for the repair, nope 45 minutes later I was on my way. Wveryone I came in contact within this business was happy. Could I have gotten repaired cheaper? I don't think so, I found it affordable, fast and the work comes with a parts and labor warranty. Definitely recommend their services and will use again if need be.
