So I had my windshield replaced by them 11/15. I was unable to go outside and meet the guy who replaced my windshield because I had a baby literally a week before. So the guy replaced it then texted when he left. All was good for a few days and then Friday 11/19 I went outside and saw this crack. I reached out to the company and sent pictures and they zoomed in probably as far as the phone allowed and said this crack has a point of impact... I asked for a tech to be sent out to examine this windshield and explain how that tiny spec could possibly crack my windshield through like that and they said they would have a manager call me Monday. Today 11/22 the manager calls and tells me she showed more of their techs and there's definitely a point of impact. I asked again if they could send someone out to show me and explain because I'm failing to see how that's a point of impact if my cars been sitting in the driveway. The manager would barely let me speak and just kept saying she showed all these techs and they agree there's a point of impact and this cannot be from installation issues. I asked if it's a stress crack is there any way for the glass to start chipping off (what it looks like is happening) she said no that stress cracks wouldn't have caused any of the glass to start chipping. I then asked if that tiny spec is a point of impact how's it possible that I came out and it was cracked that bad all the way through and almost all the way down and she just said it's the point of impact. She then proceeded to say they could help me file a new claim and that's all they could do. All I was asking was for someone to be sent out to inspect it because that tiny spec they zoomed in on doesn't even look like that in person and the crack looks like an installation issue BUT if someone could come look and explain then great and we can move on and either see it's an installation issue or not. read more

The friendly professional technical, Ethan, arrived on time and explained the procedure. When I returned from walking my dog, Ethan was done, gone and left our car and yard immaculate. He sent a text to let us know about post installation care. This is UNBELIEVABLE --- King Windshields gave us $100 in CASH fulfilling a promotional offer. True story!! I've used King before...they are always very helpful and professional. I've used their mobile services 2x before but I'm at their location, this time. Very comfy couches and chairs. Very nice, polite and kind staff. I've used their mobile services...they've come to my home. Same service...very professional and friendly. They once brought the wrong windshield and had to come back the next day. They were very apologetic and with full insurance coverage/replacement, you get $100 back. Because of the mix up, they gave me $125 I'd highly recommend using these guys for your glass/windshield needs. read more

Had my windshield replaced 9/21 and installer damaged my vent cover/part of dash. They replaced damaged part a few weeks later and damaged a different part of dash during installation. They promised to replace that part but have ignored my calls to fix what they have damaged. Do not use this company ever. read more

Not worth the $100. During the installation employee Joseph McGrath broke the rail on the side of the windshield, broke the rearview mirror, left the edge of the rail UNDER the windshield and the windshield was not sealed properly. AND when I showed the employee when he returned he actually said "I found it like that", which was a bold faced lie. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO MORALS. This happened before Thanksgiving. They just finally finished the job properly yesterday January 9th! It took them 6 WEEKS and 6 APPOINTMENTS to re-replace my windshield and fix what they broke. At the end they gave me $50 like that comes anywhere close to the money I've lost unable to drive my car for Uber with a windshield that clearly wasn't sealed. How could I safely drive someone like that? I can't and I wouldn't. Even though they said it would be "perfectly safe to drive on the freeway". How ridiculously dumb are these people? Their travelling installers are NOT PROFESSIONALLY DRESSED. THEY LOOK LIKE GANGBANGERS IN LONG SHORTS AND HOODIES IN BEAT-UP PICK UP TRUCKS. One did not even speak English. This company is a joke and in no way worth the endless headaches. You can easily tell that I wasn't the only infuriated customer by how long you have to wait on hold to speak to their warranty department. I have used this company many times to replace my windshields but this last time the windshield was not installed correctly and caused a water leak. I contacted the company, explained I had moved out of state for medical reasons, and asked if they could help. Told me I was out of luck. Even with all the business I did with them, King Windshield was not willing to make things right. So disappointed. Update: New company that is installing my windshield has shown me where the rust that formed under the old windshield because of the bad install. Be careful ladies and gents.. rust in this area is dangerous because it is a structural support area for your vehicles... rust equals weakness in the metal. Update: Called the business back because they left a comment stating they wanted to talk about what happened. Left a message and have not heard back. It has been a couple of weeks and I don't expect to hear back. read more

Horrible customer service. We had our windshield replaced and it cracked immediately the next day. They then had to come out and fix it again. At which time they said the trim for the review mirror couldn't go back on because the clips were gone. So they left it at that. They said it was that way before and there was nothing they could do at this point to fix it. We called the office and spoke with the manager who was no help at all. False information was given to me on their Facebook and with their customer service rep. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told they don't work weekends. What kind of "manager" doesn't run their company on the weekends? Especially when their issues with a customer. Contacted King Windshields only to be contacted by one of their sister companies. I gave them a shot. First time they came out they brought the wrong windshield so they rescheduled me for the next day. Second time they came out they had the wrong windshield again. At this point I demanded to speak to a manager and asked if they could do something for the inconvenience they have caused. Time is money! I got my windshield repaired with them and everything was fine until it chipped again a few weeks later. The warranty only covers chip repairs and if your chip is located close to the edge, THEIR machines cannot reach it and the warranty is null and void!!! Since their machine is not capable of fixing a chip based on location, they will not repair it. The warranty does not cover cracks. They charge almost $300 for NOTHING!!! If the chip spreads, you have to purchase another windshield. Bad customer service as well! They don't care that they don't have machines adequate enough! read more

What a shame how your company has gone downhill since you started contracting with other companies that are HORRIBLE. This will be the 3rd time someone needs to come out. The first guy scraped the glass and cracked it and then broke the trim piece clips off and glued them all back on. Never said he broke the clips on the trim pieces nor did he tell us he tried to glue it back on. How dishonest and what a half assed job, to say the least. Then the next guy comes out to tell us what the first tech did. Now we have to get a 3rd person out once they and get our clips in. What a nightmare, all for a piece of glass for our Lexus. Big mistake changing your protocol and contracting work out. You've ruined your business & reputation. The hold time when they transfer us to your sister company is ridiculous and they are in Florida which is 3 hours ahead of time. We won't be using your business again unless you get back to basics where you cared about customer service, efficiency and took pride in your work. I had my windshield replaced with this company because of all the good reviews, but I'm pretty sure most of them were paid for, as a lot of companies do nowadays. My experience with them has been horrible. Technician was 2 hours late for our appointment so I lost most of my work day waiting around for them. Management promised me a $150 gas card because they were late, and the company also promotes this in their ads. He shows up finally, replaces my windshield and pays me $100 cash for using them. When I finally get in my car I noticed they never reattached my dash cam attachment to my new windshield. So now I have a $100+ dash cam I can't possibly use because because there's nowhere to buy just the attachment. I've called the company for two weeks now trying to fix the problem, promising the manager "Matt" would call me back. No calls back, horrible customer service! I regret using this company. Tech showed up 2 hours late with no communication that they were running late. He was rude and unprofessional. Tech asked my husband how windshield got broken. My husband explained what happened. Tech said it was not broke that way. He started arguing with my husband. He was extremely inappropriate. My husband told him to leave. We had our windshield replaced by King Windshields, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews, and even more worried when I learned that the work was being subbed out to another company (Prism Auto Glass) but I went ahead with the replacement anyway. We arranged with my insurance company over the phone, then scheduled the replacement the next day. Two guys showed up within the promised one hour window. Very pleased, this was my first time using them and for the first time I had my windshield replaced with no damage to my car. Previous company's had dropped the windshield denting my car and the last company cut the wiring harness to my home link mirror.
