At 2:32 PM, the technician texted me that he was starting the dynamic calibration and was "almost done." At 2:33, I was told it would be "a few more minutes." An hour later, at 3:25, after I asked for an update, I was told the vehicle was passing the first part of the calibration but not the second. The technician continued driving my vehicle around attempting the calibration. At 3:50 PM, he sent me a photo of his diagnostic equipment showing the dynamic calibration had a fault after multiple attempts. I even remembered that I had a Progressive Snapshot device in the OBD port and suggested removing it in case it was interfering. At 4:27 PM, the technician returned, but the situation still wasn't resolved. Then at 5:07 PM, I was told he would be "heading back over shortly." By 6:05 PM -- almost an hour later -- I was still waiting and had to text again asking whether I should just call it a day. Ultimately, they were unable to successfully calibrate the ADAS/front camera, gave up on the job, returned the vehicle to me without a successful calibration, and later refunded me. I appreciate that they issued the refund, but I lost most of an afternoon and was left with a newly replaced windshield that still needs to be taken somewhere else for proper calibration. What bothered me most was the communication. I repeatedly heard "a few more minutes," "I'll tell you soon," and "heading back over shortly," while hours passed. If the calibration wasn't working, I would have much preferred to be told that directly rather than continually being given short estimates that weren't accurate. The refund was appropriate, but based on the amount of time wasted, poor communication, and the unfinished calibration, I would not use this company again. Weirdly enough they couldn't do it, and it turns out I'm glad they couldn't. Apparently there are materials they couldn't get due to the age and style, so I had to check in to alternatives. Magic Windshield got back to me first and had marvelous reviews and I see why now. First, the frustrating. When I checked, they got back to me with a very low quote. I called them up, and I asked two questions. "Does it have a logo?" No. That costs more. Okay I figured it would. "This other company couldn't do it due to this that and the other. Are you sure you can do it?" Yes, but it will cost more because of these things. At this point I'm frustrated that people don't check before giving a quote and making appointments, but I'm starting to think I should just get it done, so I bite the bullet, pay a bit more, and make the appointment. A day later they are changing my appointment time; and I'm questioning my intelligence for making an appointment with a completely unknown entity. Now, the good. The glass fits like a glove, unlike what was in the car before. They fixed the molding that the previous company messed up. They also aligned the trim correctly, which the previous company also messed up. The front of the car literally has never looked this good. Once they got here (and it turns out they had a good reason for the reschedule), they did a quick and efficient job. Despite the previous outfit's incompetence, they did not charge more. They fixed the problems, and were as good as their word on the quote. I promise, I had no idea that it had been done wrong, but now that it's right, I can tell. Bottom line, they did a good job. The work is good, they use the right parts, and though I paid a bit more than some others might have charged, it was worth it.

I needed to leave work by 2pm at the latest and she made sure it would happen. I was also informed the company was also a recommended shop by my insurance, so that was a nice bonus. Gracie told me they could get it done and come to my work to get it done before 1pm. Cristian, the installer called me about 10 minutes before he arrived and quickly replaced my windshield. I am extremely thankful they were able to help me out so quickly and get me back on the road. The interaction I had with both employees was very pleasant and professional and the install was great.

Recently I hired AGD Auto Glass Direct (AKA Glastek) to replace the windshield in my car. Prior to…read morehaving it scheduled, I asked if there was any sort of cash bonus/offer. Based on my vehicle, they told me $90, at which point I filed a glass claim with AGD/Glastek on the line. Once the claim was filed, I was told by my insurance to expect a link by text to take photos of the damage. While I did receive the link, AGD/Glastek called me just a few hours later stating they had the referral to complete the work and wanted to schedule. I questioned this as I had done nothing with the link yet that was provided by insurance, yet they assured me that b/c they had the referral I was good to go. The following day they replaced my windshield, but did not give me the $90 (claimed they forgot it and would mail it). Well the following day after that, they called/text me stating they needed my help as my insurance company wasn't paying them due to an issue with the referral. They asked me to call my insurance, which I did (spent an hour of my time trying to sort out their problem). My insurance company indicated they never sent any referral as I never sent in the pics, etc. They indicated AGD/Glastek jumped the gun and should not have replaced the windshield without the proper referral in place. A day or two later after that, AGD/Glastek reached out to me and threatened that if I did not call my insurance again to assist them that they would refuse to pay the $90 cash bonus. At that point I became quite frustrated with their demeaner and/or threat, seeing they are the ones who created this entire problem. So as of now, they never paid their cash bonus that they agreed to. Beware, I would strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere as this is clearly false advertising.

Let me start by stating that Tara out of the Provo office was outstanding from the time we had email exchanges to the time I arrived and took care of my car. Not only was she amazing but so where the crew, diligent, professional, courteous and efficient. The reservation, the repair and replacement including calibration was done with expertise and extremely quickly even if my car had all the bells and whistles on it. All I can do honestly is praise the service and work they performed. Their prices were competitive, and best of all you are supporting a small locally owned family business that take huge pride in their work, something you do not see in big box organizations. If you look elsewhere good luck. Would I recommend them, hands down in a heartbeat. They fixed my fully loaded Audi Allroad, and I will be back to see them to get my other car windows tinted.
