We called to get a windshield repaired and were able to get someone to come to our house the same day. They called when they were about 10 minutes out and provided an estimate on how long it would take to perform the work. When they arrived they were quicker than expected and cleaned everything when they left. It was billed directly to insurance, so there was no issues with payment. Made first appointment they cancelled because had to order glass, second appointment made for field service and when the guy showed up told it had to be done in shop, made third appointment at shop in Deer Valley and was told to take it to dealer instead. Called my dealer and they referred me to Arrowhead Auto Glass. So safelite is essentially telling me "hey we only do easy repairs but a local shop is better at this than us." Appt time on Wed was 7 am to 11, at 6:P40 am I got a call "we don't have any experienced techs avaiable". Rescheduled for Friday for 11:30 to 4. At 11, I get a call "WE can't do it because it's a slider we can only do that in our shop bla-bla-bla..." I ask the "manager" named Trevor why I wasn't called when I first booked it then. He had lots of escuses but all nonsense. "Someone should have caught that". Really? Ya think? When I asked him why he didn't call me earlier on Friday, he "didn't want to inconvenience me with an early phone call". I cleared my schedule TWICE only to get told on 20-30 minutes notice that they're not coming. STAY AWAY. read more

This is a public service announcement. And a warning. I brought a perfect car to Safelite AutoGlass. Low miles. Zero lights. Zero issues. A Mercedes S580. Basically new. All I needed was a windshield. That's it. They told me recalibration was required. They told me they could handle it in house. Cool. Except they couldn't. I leave their shop and suddenly the car looks like a Christmas tree. Warnings everywhere. Suspension not working. Ambient lighting dead. Systems failing that were flawless hours earlier. So I take it straight to Mercedes. And here's the part that made my stomach turn. Mercedes says this happens all the time. Their words. Not mine. Cars come in after Safelite with more warning lights than they've ever seen. Read that again. This wasn't a fluke. This wasn't bad luck. This is a pattern. I brought them a pristine vehicle. They handed it back broken. No accountability. No ownership. Just problems I didn't walk in with. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a vehicle in a shop. If you care about your car especially a high end vehicle think very carefully before trusting it here. Windshields can be replaced. Electrical systems suspension and integrated vehicle tech are a different game. Learn from my mistake. read more

I had an appointment scheduled for the following week, but I was in the area so I stopped in. I live in a very hot area and did not want the chip to run. The staff was very pleasant and explained to me since it was so late in the day there were no techs here as they were finishing up and leaving for the day . While I had the car there I asked if they could look at the chip to make sure it was repairable and did not need a replacement. Luckily Josh was there almost ready to leave and he said he would take a look, he stayed and repaired my windshield, he went above and beyond!! Thanks Josh and Thanks Safelight. literal worst service. tried getting my die window done, fist week they showed up with no insurance coverage trying to charge me, next sit next week they come and guy break motor in my door and tris to lie and say it was like that, i argued get the part ordered and in two weeks at my third apt they are coming later than they quoted and i work two jobs this service is the worst do not use them. Waited 15 mins and they opened the doors, checked in right away. Three men and one woman (me) were waiting outside. All of the men were helped and their techs came out and greeted them within 5 minutes. 30 mins after my arrival still no tech so I asked if they had shown up. Beware their shop on Pinnacle peak. Staff is careless and didn't do a window replacement right on a new vehicle. They cut the trim/seal along bottom of windshield and didn't install a new strip. Only when I noticed it before leaving and went back in to ask did the tech acknowledge it and say they would order it and do later. A chunk was missing, it was easy to see by anyone looking - they just assumed I wouldn't look. I was told the manufacture should have sent replacement seal/trim with the windshield but didn't, so they just decided to reinstall a new window without a new seal/trim and use the old one they had cut up. Had I not noticed myself they weren't going to tell me or take ownership. Nobody called me in advance to ask if I wanted it installed with an old damaged part instead and now I have to make a second appointment for something that could have been done in one. They do not answer the phone and Safelite's own customer service reps (call center) can't even reach this shop on the phone when they call while I'm on hold. Days later and they still haven't responded to reschedule/fix of provide ETA. Save yourself time and go somewhere other than Safelite if a mobile repair can't be done. **Edit: Upgraded review a week later to upgrade my review from 1 star to 3 stars since the new trim piece was ordered and installed without further cost but lack of communication and candor about the issue during initial install remains a concern. Make sure to inspect their work before leaving to ensure it's done and done properly. read more

Left more resin around the star than actually on the star so the issue is not resolved. Called to see if they can come fix this as it looks terrible. Their response "you can take it to one of our shops to have it looked at but our work is not guaranteed..." They were paid for at home service, not garage service. Cons: When I scheduled the appointment they indicated it would cost $217 which included tax, recycling, etc. Their quote was based on me submitting an accurate VIN that they would supposedly use to identify the right replacement windshield. When they arrived they said that they didn't have the windshield. They arrived with an incorrect one that did not fit. But they said that they could schedule me for tomorrow. Price: $277. I asked what about the $217? Response: That's for the windshield that won't fit. I wasted a day off for this?? I won't deal with this company again. read more

I had scheduled a windshield replacement last Saturday. I went in there and dropped off the car for service and got a call back a few hours later saying the wrong part was ordered. They look very similar that they would reschedule me to get me taken care of next week. The new technician (Justin) came out to install the new part, but there was a price difference that nobody had mentioned unfortunately at the time but after working with Justin as well as Micah over the phone, they were able to help me move forward with the price difference and we were able to lower the cost significantly. Justin was great, very knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend/ request him as your repair technician! (83rd & union hills) Scheduled a windshield replacement, went normal. " we have the permanent glass" they said, that morning they lost the truck and had to tell me. Eventually they would get it and call me which they did but only to tell me they had the temporary glass so my sensors will be out till we get the right glass. Annoying but fine. After getting the permanent glass it looks great, clean/ clear but I notice the rain sensor was absolutely messed up. Went back to ask and the manager was in the back completely rude trying to tell another coworker what to tell me again with attitude to his own. Ridiculous. Then his partner tells me the didn't mount it right and I inform them about a sensor not working and he tries telling me it was a custom setting that got put to default which is a lie. Nothing comes custom. Look it up, that part is on the buyer or user. Asked if I had a warranty cause I because I was maybe a week or two after the month but my answer to that is, if you did it right the first time then we wouldn't be here but no lie, cheat, and whatever else to get by right? Seems how places are going lately. Issues one after another over you just doing a job right. I call a sister store to have this fixed because I can't trust the first location anymore nor do I care to fight like children. We are adults and this is what happens. I had set up an appointment for someone to come to my work last week, i gave them all the information needed such as insurance, location ect. They called me the day of my appointment and said i was too far from them so i had to cancel. I rescheduled (which is today) made it clear i was going to be at my home and gave them times i am available. They showed up to my work (which obviously i was not there as i told them) also put me down for the wrong time which they told me! I would not trust this place. My windshield was put on poorly which resulted in water entering my car which caused connector 208 in my acura to get corroded under the dash. Took it to safelite since its under warranty and the tech said he could not spot water entering the vehicle and its probably coming from the sunroof which to me didn't make sense and nothing can be done. My husband booked with Safelite through our insurance, Progressive, to have a windshield replacement as a couple rocks hit my windshield and caused some big chips in my line of vision. I called to see if they could do a "mobile job" and they explained they cannot because my windshield needed to be recalibrated. I dropped off my car, and Irvin did an amazing job; my car was done in a couple hours. I came back, checked out with Ruby and left. They handled everything through my insurance, and I was good to go! I called back to Thank them, spoke with Ana first, and she transferred me to Micah, Assistant Manager. I told him his team was knowledgable, friendly and attentive. The tech, Stacia, showed up when she said she would, well within the time window given. She was friendly and got right to work and did a great job. Michael, the technician, gave me a heads up phone call that he was on the way for 7:45 a.m. He was prepared and got straight to work. He even noticed that although I selected the "replace windshield wipers" option ($75) my windshield wipers did not require replacement any time soon and was honest about this. BIG KUDOS for honesty this day and age! Then, I informed him my last windshield replacement didn't go so well because my camera box component (Cadillac CTS) ended up broken. I have replaced my windshield in different vehicles a total of 6 times. I have had an issue 5 of the 6 times. Today I got the call after dropping off vehicle, that they were prepping my vehicle and found an issue with the glass, a defect and had to order another. This is the 3rd time that they have used this excuse with me. Do they not have a QC? Another instance the windshield was incorrect with the dots around it. I have also had to return twice to get recalibrated again after driving off the lot. I believe when they are understaffed this is the standard excuse, it is either integrity or incompetence, either way I would highly recommend anywhere else than this location. Another note, don't ask for the Manager Cynthia, they won't be able to find her, and they don't know any phone numbers of anyone outside of this office. read more

I thought this experience was going well until my actual appointment and attempt to have my windshield replaced by Safelite. I entered everything needed and scheduled an appointment with Safelite to get a new windshield, provided them my insurance information and set my day and time to have my windshield replaced at my house. During the confirmation process of my appointment I received an email outlining how my service should go indicating the window of service, the name of the individual and that I would be notified when my tech was on the way. This however, is not how the appointment occurred and as such - I did not get the service I requested at all. My tech did not call to let me know he was on the way, he called from in front of my house. I was unable to answer due to being on the phone already. He did not leave a voicemail but, did come ring my doorbell. He was back to his truck before I could answer the door and drove away as I was exiting my house to try to get his attention to come back. This was all in the course of perhaps 5 minutes. I then tried to call the number that had call me (assuming this was my tech) but that was a different contact and that mail box was full, I texted this number and got no reply. When I called customer service I was able to jump through hoops to get to a liver person, who didn't really know how to answer a phone or confirm they were in customer service. They were rude and unprofessional to begin with and finally told me their tech marked me as a missed appointment and I could reschedule for service 4 days later. I asked that my service is fully cancelled, and that Safelite be sure not to bill my insurance as the new appointment time and the entire experience was unacceptable. At this point I have 0 confidence they would even do a good job and the tech would likely just rush the job! Do not use, go anywhere else people! read more

I got my windshield replaced and it was supposed to take about 2hrs. I was called within 45 mins that the car was complete. When I questioned the time frame I was informed that Adrian had a helper so they finished early. Fast forward to yesterday and we had a rain storm. In my mind I was thankful I purchased the new wiper blades. In reality I was pissed. There is nothing worse than being in stormy, rainy weather and not one but both of your new blades were not installed correctly and were not working. They both popped off in the middle of the storm. I am just thankful that I did not crash my car due to low visibility. My rating for this service is a zero and I want a refund for the wiper bladed that were installed improperly. read more

I've need two windshields replace. I'm forced to use Safelite due to it being a company car. Both scheduled appoints, I've been ghosted on. No call, no email... nothing. Then I call and they say nothing was put in to their system or that they sent an email but I didn't receive it. Apparently email is broken for them, since both times this has happened. They are horrible to schedule with, don't honor their appointments and do nothing when there's a problem. Also, they had to recalibrate my last vehicles front camera after the windshield replacement and they tried twice but couldn't get it working, so they said I'd have to take it to GMC to have them do it which cost an additional $250. If it were up to me, there's no way I'd select them to do a service for me. Don't waste your time or money with this company. read more

Experience started off great. I work in the field so setting an appointment was not easy task. Planning ahead, my wife took the truck to her work and the windshield was scheduled to be replaced. We had tons of rain and we offered the technician our canopy. After setting the canopy up, he decided to reschedule. A week later, we find the canopy was broken and now it's unusable. I will be calling on Monday. The second time a technician came out, he made zero contact with my wife and left. All was well until I had to use my windshield washer fluid. Two of the hoses were disconnected and my lower windshield liner is missing bolts! The same day, hours later, my antenna came off while driving on the freeway. I am unsure of Safelite's position on replacing parts, but I will be calling them on Monday. I understand, they are not liable for broken dashes, but if they unscrew a bolt and lose it, they need to replace it. If they disconnect the wiper fluid hoses and they break, they need to replace it. If they do not screw in the antenna all the way and it comes off, they need to replace it. It is not an owners responsibility to check all the bolts or tighten an antenna. The antenna was a bullet antenna, so it was not cheap. This isn't the first time Safelite has replaced my windshield but it will be that last we allow a technician to work on our vehicle without adult supervision. My wife feels taken advantage of and it is a problem for everyone who seeks their business. read more
