Customer service is not a priority for this facility. If you loose or break your glasses be ready to wait a week or more. Also, call them since they don't care enough to call and let you know your order arrived. I rarely write a review but after hearing this same situation with customer service has happened to others I felt it was important. I had an excellent experience all round. It is easy to schedule appointments, the practice is very well run from a hygienic point of view. Dr Case Was very professional and efficient. When I find something good, I stick with it! I love that Dr. Seifert is a local guy where friends and neighbors know him and and provides us with excellent service. I've been going to this location for a few years now. I was recommended to him. And I see familiar faces every time I go. UNPROFESSIONAL - Despite the negative review which was posted on this site (but is no longer) I decided to make an appointment anyway as out of the 3 reviews I read, 2 were favorable. The receptionist had me hold for four minutes while I listened to her have a conversation with her co-worker about mis-billing a credit charge. When she realized she forgot to hit the hold button, she finally put me on hold where I was able to listen to their commercial for another two minutes before she returned to the phone. I received a text message the day of my appointment confirming my appointment. Two hours before my appointment time, Dr. Seifert's office called and cancelled the appointment. When I asked why they were cancelling, I was informed that the doctor is not in today. When I asked why I was being informed about it now, I was told that he didn't realize he didn't have another doctor replacing him today. I made arrangements for child care to be able to go to this appointment. I completely regret not going with my first instinct when put on hold for a long period of time. Fairly new to full time residency on the east end, I was without an eye doctor. My first visit at Seifert Eye Associates was an excellent and positive experience. Everyone there from the receptionist, to the technician, to the lovely doctor and optometrist, addressed my needs and concerns, were warm, thorough, welcoming and professional. I am extremely near-sighted and am not a simple eye care patient. I drove away feeling thrilled that I had found solid medical care. Nothing bad to say about the doctors, BOTTOM LINE : IF YOU GET YOUR EYE TEST DONE THERE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO FILL PRESCRIPTION. My first experience with prescription eyeglasses could not have been worse. $400 is now in the garbage. My frames stretched out to the point where I could no longer even wear them I kept bringing them back into the store. I only spoke with Joyce, she either tightened them, which lasted only one day, told me not to wear them on my head, or told me to run them under hot water. It was a waste, nothing worked. Last time I went in was last week, 5 months after trying to wear them, finally being at the point where they were just useless, they started pulling my hair out, and if I moved my head they would fall off. the lenses were also always filthy. It was time to return them. As soon as Joyce saw me, she said, "you really hate these glasses." She got the manager, I don't remember her name but she couldn't have been nastier to me. She said she couldn't take them back after 5 months and I told her that I have been in complaint about them many times and in such a nasty tone she said "well you didn't see me" and then kept saying "I don't understand why you can't wear these glasses" I just took the credit cause I wanted to leave. I know many people who have glasses and everyone I've showed them to said they never saw anything like that. The sides were so stretched out, they could have almost been flat. So now I have a $400 credit for a different pair of glasses but do not want to go back in. read more

I can't rave enough about my experience! Dr. Orabone was so kind and helpful. I went in late on a Friday with a terrible eye infection. She immediately diagnosed me and helped me find a treatment. She even called me the following day to check up on me and to make me an appointment with an ophthalmologist. She went way above and beyond to make sure I was being taken care of. Excellent service! Dr. Glenn is incredibly attentive and professional and genuinely loves his line of work- and his patients- remembering every single one (even after years). The team on the Optical side is as skilled and a pleasure to work with, as well. Lisa and her team seem to know your most complementing frames, help you make the best selection, and have your frames quite quickly. They're also surprisingly affordable- and do whatever they can to utilize any insurance you may have, too! This has been a winning team for more than half my life! After moving to hampton bays and looking for a new eye dr I called to make an appointment as a first time patient and the woman I spoke with was so nasty and rude. Every question i had was answered with an attitude, if answered at all. I had been to their location once before to check out sunglasses and had terrible service so after the rude phone call I told the nasty woman who answered the phone i'd be making an appointment somewhere else. The eye care is wonderful, but the attire of the staff could use some professionalism. I have to suit up and show up for my job and I expect the same from any professional organization that receives my money. I don't want to see a young woman in ripped jeans asking me to fork over $600 to pay for glasses. A little more professional attire would go a long way. read more
