With all of the options available to me in NYC, I choose to have all of my optical work done here at Roeloffs. Mark is always patient with my protracted frame selection process, and steers me in the right direction as far as the new technologies in the prescription lens arena. Over the years the selection of designer frames has gotten consistently stronger, with the hard-to-find "Sama" one of the standouts. There's clearly a reason this office is always busy, in season and out.

They make sure to tend to all the needs of the "patient" in a timely and efficient manner. On my most recent visit on 2/25/14, I was treated the same way again. I expressed to the staff I had other doctors appointments that day and if I would be able to be seen in an expedited manner. They were more than accommodating and I was taken in directly to the exam rooms. The technician was very polite and explained every procedure along the way. (I still cannot stand that puff of air being blown into my eye ) I was moved right into Dr. Parker's exam room and within a minute he was there to greet me by name without having to look through his folders. Dr. Parker was very thorough in his exam and gave me a clean bill of health for another year. I was then brought into the room where I was to purchase new glasses. The assortment of frames here is pretty complete. They carry all name brands. I wish my insurance covered a larger selection of frames because some of their products were pretty cool, but a bit expensive. But I digress... I was fitted for one new pair of glasses and that was it. I was out the door in about 35 minutes. Hamptons Eye does also carry a pretty extensive line of contact eye wear as well. I cannot comment on this further as I am only aware of this because my daughter gets her contacts here as well. She seems very happy with whatever she gets. In the end, this place gets a five star rating from me. I cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they do in making me see straight.
