Keep in mind this is a very busy office usually with only one MD. Hard to get people to travel out to the Hamptons and cost of living is very high. Bring something to listen to or just stay calm if you have to have your eyes dilated and the wait is long. They see emergencies--and if you had an emergency you would want them to see you. My eye doctor of over 20 years remains excellent, everything else, including not being seen for about 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment was awful. the waiting room was packed. When private equity takes over a business it's all about decreasing costs or increasing income by over booking appointments. Sadly, I will miss my doctor, but will NEVER again see any doctor working under a private equity umbrella. read more

Terrible back office. However, the Doctor was efficient. Prescribed me a medication via their specialty pharmacy. 4 days later and they still haven't submitted a pre authorization to my insurance. I called twice and they keep transferring me to a voicemail for prescription information. The voicemail states that you will get a response back same day which is not the case. FYI this practice is private equity owned. Their portfolio manager should do more diligence on their back office staff and poor quality. read more

This location is the absolute worst. Please do not visit them. The staff is rude, unprofessional and ignored a serious eye injury. Two weeks ago my husband went here and was diagnosed with a scratched cornea from a sharp branch while gardening. The doctor prescribed antibiotic eye drops and told him to return in one week, which he did. A different doctor examined him and said she doesn't like how it is healing and he needed to come back in four days to see if it became a fungal infection. He received a card with the time and date from the receptionist. Upon arriving today he was told the office had made an error and he didn't have an appointment. The receptionist told him, "having an appointment card doesn't guarantee you an appointment". Very intelligent response! They offered him an appointment 2 hours away from our home at a different location stating, "We're accommodating you". His eye is still painful. He has no appointment. And both he and I have been using this practice for many years. We're long time patients. Dr. Speer-Buono is very nice but she's leaving the practice in June. Should it be a fungal infection that the other doctor last week eluded to that they now refuse to treat because the office staff made a booking error, we'll need to find another Ophthalmologist followed by an attorney. read more

Staff was helpful and friendly. Wait time acceptable. Doctor explained what I asked and was friendly and professional. I don't know where these bad reviews come from but I thought they were great. read more
