Had a great experience at Seever & Son's Tire. One day my tire got punctured by a nail and started leaking air. I called them first, and they told me to come by during my lunch break. These guys are always friendly and always helpful. They now go by the name of big brand tires, but I hear Mr. Seever still comes into the shop a few times a week. The tires come with extended warranty so if you run over nail and need tire replaced, they will do so and only charge you for the labor! Car tire needed to be patched and CT came to the rescue, did a visual inspection and drew up the paperwork. It's a long weekend but these guys had staff to take care of business. And even though I didn't buy these tires from them, they still did not charge me anything since it's their policy to cover patches, flat tires, and other checks. While inside, the other guys in the lobby were friendly and very social. It's no wonder why this establishment has the highest rating in YELP for tire shops in Pleasanton. Their attitude and demeanor towards new and returning customers are TOP NOTCH and can't be beaten. I will seriously consider going to them if and when I need new tires. I trust the staff completely here. The service is PHENOMENAL. They are honest, they explain everything, and they don't price gauge. Seevers are rebranded as big brand tire. I recently visited to get a quote for a new set of tires for my Lexus. CT spoke to me and provided detailed quotes, answering all my questions thoroughly. Their offer was the most competitive as they honored a price listed on their older website. I especially appreciated the transparency--no unnecessary upselling or hidden costs. The installation was quick and completed within two hours the very next day. Everything went smoothly, and I look forward to returning for other services they provide. Small nit was that the tire pressure was set really high at 43 psi instead of the recommended 35 psi and I did have to go to a nearby gas station to get it corrected. I recommend they pay attention to this because it does matter a lot. I was disappointed by my new tires as they were really bumpy. After correcting the pressure it was very smooth. read more

Always get my tires and regular services here because the prices are fair and the service is friendly with mechanics who are good with troubleshooting. Service folks REALLY LISTEN (even to women) when describing a car problem. They never try to sell you more than you need. Never had a one of those, "Did I just pay more than I needed to?" moments. My wife brought her Kia Soul here yesterday in an attempt to repair a tire that had a nail stuck in it. The worker told my wife the tire was unrepairable due to the nail being in the side of the tire. He recommended my wife purchase a tire that they could "special order". I already knew the nail was not in the side of the tire, so made an appointment and brought it to Wheel Works the very next day where they were able to repair the tire and confirmed the nail WAS NOT in the side of the tire, but the middle. This worker was clearly trying to scam my wife by lying about the actual condition of the tire which we were already aware of, just needed someone to complete the repair. Would not recommend this place as there is clearly either a lack of integrity and honesty or competence. read more

The performed a high speed wheel balance and discovered my wheels were severely out of balance. They cleaned the inside of my rims and mounted new weights to the clean surface. If you have an AWD with a flat that needs to be replaced, and the treads are worn down a bit, you can order a shaved tire from tire rack and have it sent to them. Very quick and hard working folks. Better service than anywhere else I went in the area. read more

I called to confirm availability, went to the shop, and was in and out in an hour. Service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. They even gave me recommendations for my next set of tires. I learned a couple things about Tesla tires that I wouldn't have thought about otherwise. Luckily, they were able to repair the tire instead of replace, and they did it for free. Great service. Changed tired in less than 2 hours. I couldn't find better prices any where else.

I was in for wheel alignment and brake fluid flush. I noticed that only one side of the tires were changed after looking at the TPMS. I stopped by and explained what might have happened, they did't rotate the tires properly in X way. The older guy just checked the tire levels and tried inflating the back tire that was on low pressure after asking tires to be rotated. After another round of checking tire depth, he agreed and swapped the tires. I would not come back to this place because what they tried to fix the problem was an easy way out of it if you don't know about your car or car in general. They just tried to deflated one tire and inflate one tire while not considering the rotation for my $2000 tires. read more

Since new ownership, quality of work has gone exponentially down. I've experienced loose lug nuts, over tightened lug nuts, stripped lug nuts, loose shocks, lost hub caps, and lost keys. The employees are frankly incompetent and pretend that everything's OK when talking on the phone or in person. The shop does not provide work that is safe, and customers should be aware to avoid it for safety reasons. The new owner, Henry, who is an LA "businessman" is clearly numb to the issues and provides the same corporate cookie cutter response on every yelp and google review. Complete shame and disappointment from a once decent shop. read more
