The manager, Julia, and staff members Juan and Bianca, are personable, professional, and very attentive to both the customers' needs and continual facility upkeep. The storage facility is always very competitively priced relative to other nearby alternative storage facilities, and consistently, clean, well-maintained, and secure. A couple of weeks ago, all my cards, credit and debit were stolen and I had to get all of them replaced which if it's ever happened to you takes some time. I finally receive my cards and then proceed to call Frontier Storage to pay my bill. This of course included a $10 late fee. Julia who I spoke to just refused to waive the $10 fee despite my explanation of the circumstances. Her response was "well it's clearly stated in your contract- any late bills include a 10 dollar late fee." You mean the contract I signed over 2 years ago? And what about a bit of empathy and kindness for a customer that has been paying regularly for 2 years without a single issue. I get it's a business as I too am a business owner but here's a newsflash, you are still dealing with people. The lesson here is, a bit of kindness and understanding goes a long way. You treat people right, they will stay or continue to come back. So needless to say, we will be moving our business elsewhere. By the way, I guess she's not very good at math. I paid the $10 but she'll be losing out on $1008 in revenue instead! I hope the actual owner of this business reads this review and effectively makes some changes and teaches Julia about this thing called customer service. Stay away! Pay a bit more elsewhere where customer service matters.

For packing services (labor), it was $120/hr, where it's a 4 hour minimum and then they charge hourly after that. They utilized their own cargo truck which is $150. Of note, if you want them to actually pack your things, you'd have to provide the packing material and the $120/hr increases to $150/hr.

This was a challenging move with a…read moredifficult house to move out of and into, and the crew handled it professionally from start to finish. The team worked efficiently and packed the truck expertly--everything was secure, and nothing was broken or damaged, which really speaks to their care and experience. Toward the end of the move things did slow down a bit, but we were also coming up on nearly seven straight hours of work, so that was completely understandable. By the end, most of the large furniture items were placed inside the house as requested, and the majority of the boxes were left neatly in the garage, which will make unpacking fairly manageable. Overall, great service, strong work ethic, and a crew that clearly knows what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend Peninsula Pack and Move, especially for more complex moves.

I would NOT recommend this company! I was quoted $175 hourly for a 28' truck and 3 guys and a…read moreminimum of two hours. An additional $50 was disclosed after they showed up. The workers were not efficient with packing the truck, layering things, one layer deep and then taking an unpacked load. This happened not once but twice, stretching out the hourly rate they were making. They did not hook up my washer and dryer as I was told they would and they damaged two pieces of furniture without disclosing they had. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul truck for two more days to finish what they weren't able to finish and this was after we had already packed a PODS container to the max in our driveway. So the stuff they were responsible for moving was mainly furniture. This is not the first time I have moved a moving company in Monterey County and so I had an idea of approximate cost and time. This company milked the clock, costing me more than twice what the move cost the previous time. At one point while moving some furniture at my old place, one of the movers voiced that he had stolen a piece of candy from me. I didn't think it was any big deal and laughed it off, but it made me wonder why he would do that and if he had done it before. When I attempted to contact the owner, David, I left a message, letting him know that I had issues and wanted to talk to him and rather than calling me back, he text me to tell me that he was really busy and that he was able to text. I would assume that being a local company wanting to make a great name, he would've contacted me back to figure out what happened and how he could make things better. The lack of upfront communication carelessness, and the fact that they took advantage of the situation is unacceptable. I expected better. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The service provided on June 27, was not $2500 worth. Do NOT book this company.

Poulos handled the truck loading and driving for our move across the country this summer. I'm in…read morethe military, so we've moved domestic to overseas and vice-versa many times, but this is the first time we've had two different companies for packing and driving. The packing company (a local company, not Poulos) did an "okay" job on the first day, but the guys from Poulos absolutely knocked it out of the park on the second day. Brian was at the house ready to go before I even arrived, right at the beginning of the "arrival window" at 0800. He and Cristian started off strong, and as the day went, Nathan and many more team members showed up and seamlessly integrated into the flow (Josh, Octavio, Chris, Emanuel, Luis, and both Davids -- apologies if i missed anyone!). The guys clearly understand the importance of being professional and personable, and everyone was courteous and respectful of our house and property. They worked quickly and efficiently as a team and had everything loaded and ready to ship by 1630. Moving with the military is always stressful, but Brian and his team went above and beyond to make this as easy for us as possible. This was the best interaction I've had with a moving company in 15 years of service. They have my highest recommendation, and will be my preferred TSP in the future. Great job guys!
