Apparently based on their policy, rental places like this one do not prorate if you move out shortly after the billing period. For example, I will be Moving Out of the storage unit either the last weekend of this month or the first weekend next month. Here's what these storage units do... In either situation I still have to pay for the entire month of March even though the unit will be empty after I move out. According to their policy they do not pro rate. I don't know about anybody else but this sounds very much like a scam so that they can get more money. Lesson learned - read the fine print before signing anything!! read more

Moved in November 12, 2025. I had been only 2 times to put stuff in my storage Unit. November 29, 2025 I came to get stuff out of my unit and found my Unit to be broken into. I had DJ equipment and collectables in tote boxes, stolen. I had two locks on my Unit. Both locks picked. They put the locks back on to make it look like nothing was broken into. These are professionals and I believe this is an inside job. How do you move into a unit and 3 weeks later your stuff is gone. I believe the guy at the front desk is in on it because he's the one that can see me hauling in equipment on the cameras. I would have wrote this review sooner but I was giving them time to do the right thing and go through the cameras to get some type of evidence to at least try to find the thieves. I gave them pics of the items to look out for. Its really easy to spot people hauling out jbl speakers in covers that say jbl on them and multiple flight cases that had lights and turntables. It's not something you just see every day. On the day I discovered my unit was broken into the guy at the front desk was not apologetic at all and the way he reacted makes be believe its an inside job. I had the cops come and the guy from the front desk came to the unit and put on sunglasses and gloves which was weird. He didn't have shades on in the office so why would he need to pout them on when talking to the cops? I contacted corporate and spoke to the regional manager she sounded like she wanted to get to the bottom of this and said 4 other units had break ins that month as well. I gave her all the info on missing items with pics and a time frame to look at cameras from the last time I was at the unit. I heard nothing back I contacted again and she said she was gonna check the cameras and that was a few weeks back and have heard nothing thats why I chose to give this review now. Its been over a month and I have no answers. This is ridiculous. I lost over 10k worth of items. Also my key broke off one of my locks when I tried to get in which should be proof they were tampering with the lock. the gates close at 9:45pm and you need a code to get in and out. Seems like a great deal up front, they beg you for a 5 star review when you check in your stuff then raise the rent in 2-3 months which I could understand in like a 6 month or year evaluation but not right away. It went from $125 to $151 for a 10x10 and now they know you're committed with your stuff moved in so it's just a shady deal and wrong. This price change was never mentioned either. read more

I would give this place a -0009 do NOT give my money to this facility. I repeat its cheap but all your stuff will be ruined. I have had storage units in the past that I have left satisfied and I cannot be more far from that. My boxes and bags have bugs living inside them. My mattress is COVERED IN INFESTATION, rats went through all my bags. I should've left the first day and that is one of my biggest regrets. Trying to help everyone and please listen when I say the quality reflects the price, pay more somewhere else and save your items. They wouldn't switch my storage number and best believe I'm looking at other facilities after I went to go check my items. Please, go somewhere else and get storage insurance. read more

Brand new travel trailer only had 6 months was stolen from this facility February 2023. Someone stood watching on street until someone opened gate then followed them in. Manager was onsite when this was happening and sadly nothing g was done to prevent it. Happened around 8:30 on a weekday. After thief broke lock off trailer and hitched up drove around facility until someone opened gate and could follow them out. Manager stated she noticed this happening but got distracted by someone coming into office so did nothing until person drove off with my new trailer. This has been devastating for my family emotionally not to mention the financial loss since I had thousand of dollars of personal items just purchased inside. Was never contacted by the facility after the event as they obviously take no responsibility for the loss. Ontario police have a report of incident. My hope is that someone else may be able to avoid going through this nightmare. read more

I was amazed at how clean this facility was. Coming from a Public Storage unit just down the road, I wasn't sure it could get any better. The inside units have 4-foot or 8-foot roll up doors (depending on the size of the unit), giving quick and easy access to everything you are storing. I was able to save a few $ by leasing two 5x10 units across from each other (each with 8-foot roll up doors for access) which was perfect for our needs. The facility is VERY clean. They also have oldies music playing in the hallways which makes loading/unloading a little more bearable. The staff are extremely friendly and made the moving process easy to handle. This facility also offers a "free" moving truck (20 miles free) so moving from my old storage facility to StorAmerica was a cinch! Love it! read more
