When I informed him that I would not be using their services, he replied with, "What are your plans for your sagging floors? How do you plan to address this?" I have met with many contractors on this same issue, and no one else aside from Groundworks and TerraFirma has attempted to blow our issues out of proportion. However, Noah did offer to do a side by side comparison of the other offers with his, which I did not take. I ungraciously assumed it wouldn't have been attempt to price match, but to take another opportunity to push me more on his proposals. Don't use them, if you want to avoid fear mongering and overpriced services.

I could see dry rot plainly on one post and called City Construction Solution to have them inspect it and provide an estimate for resolving it. Erick gave a very thorough inspection and provided photos and moisture readings with his findings. We ended up contracting with them to replace several posts, patch up the foundation, and put in an interior French drain with a sump pump that they connected to our exterior drain line. Sergey and his crew did a great job completing the work in a pretty cramped environment. Erick had also noted that only one of our 10 downspouts was connected properly to the external drains. He came out and fixed those gratis. Photos were provided of the before and after work. I was very satisfied with City Construction Solution and would not hesitate to use them again for similar work.

Had a large, obtrusive puddle forming in my driveway every time it rained, which would stay there…read morefor several days during the winter, and which was also blocking the pathway to my back door. Paul at Allied worked with me over the course of four months figuring out the best way to deal with the problem. The solution was a channel drain that would lead to my existing gutter drainage system. Because of the topography of my existing driveway, I assumed that there would still be a fair amount of puddling even after the drain was installed and that I would just have to live with it. In the days just after the install however, it rained quite a bit, and the drain worked pretty much perfectly. The puddling has been reduced by about 95%, and the water that does collect is shallow enough to handle easily. After the rain stops, the remains evaporate after a few hours. The small lake that I used to have to walk around is gone. The guys who did the install were professional and very courteous and Paul was very knowledgeable and patient in response to my many, many questions and emails leading up to the install. Would definitely recommend Allied for any project, large or small.

Andrew's team did an amazing job on my 88 year old house. The 9' and 10' original lintels over the…read morefront window and garage door were badly rusted. The brick wall had developed significant cracks zigzagging through the mortar. The replacement process was quite involved as 1 or more feet of the wall above the lintels had to be removed. When they came out one of the lintels had rusted to the point that it could be bent by hand while the other had holes. Over about 3 days they replaced them and put back the original bricks. Now I can't tell that anything was ever wrong with the wall. The new mortar is a perfect match for the original. I have recommend Brick by Brick to a couple of other neighbors. And I'll be calling them back for other window and repointing with in the future.
