Price was very reasonable. We tipped 10%. Usually there is one bilingual lead mover, and the rest speak just Mandarin Chinese. They come in and check the space, as where everything goes, then start moving things. Start time for morning session is pretty set, but afternoon session can be early or late depending on morning session. We were lucky so originally we were scheduled for 3pm but they were able to come at 1pm. They were able to pick up from two locations for us, then drop at 1 location. They disassembled and reassembled some large items for us (desk, bed). The fee is by hour so you can ask them to do more or less depending on your budget (you could reassemble things yourself to save money/time). We were able to get a weekend slot just 5 days from time of first call.

They carefully wrapped and protected everything that needed it, packed the truck like a game of Tetris, and handled both loading and unloading efficiently. They also took apart desks and beds and reassembled them perfectly at the new location. What impressed me most was their attitude. Despite a long day of heavy lifting, they always had big smiles and were genuinely pleasant to work with. These guys are strong as oxen and never slowed down. It was a 12 hour day!! Nothing was broken or damaged, and there were no surprises with the bill. ANYONE LOOKING TO HIRE MOVERS BEWARE *review update*…read more Do not hire these movers! We hired them to help us with our move on Saturday, August 1st. They moved a 500 dollar pair of Bose headphones (that are not even finished being paid off) to the cab of their moving truck and decided to keep them. We have contacted them three separate times to return them and have ignored us. I am a very disabled retiree with neuropathy, as well as lots of problems and these movers were the only ones I could afford at the time. I'm warning you not to hire them or else you'll have to deal with filing stolen property reports for whatever high value electronics they decide to steal. These movers work extremely fast and are opportunistic thieves! If for whatever reason you do decide to hire them, keep serial numbers of all your high value electronics to easier report them stolen and make it harder for them to pawn and sell, set up security cameras to watch their moving truck so you can show it to the police after, and expect no communication from them after they have stolen your property; but it is recommend to just hire another company instead of this company that prey on disabled retirees.

He insisted on a video walkthrough so he could give the most accurate estimate he could, explained everything and answered packing questions and more along the way. Day of the move, we had a team of 3 guys (thank you Lepi, Dairon and William!) who were awesome, careful and quick. Simple Move arrived at my friends place and I could tell these people have really good customer service! They were smiling, carrying our things because I gave my friends my belongings to take up. Some of the stuff included a vase, many video games and clothes. He took it up and made sure it is placed in the truck well. This took only a couple of hours which was very efficient! After arriving to Washington with my friends, Simple Move got there on time. I was very happy! I just wanted to get everything done and help my friend settle in! I'm honestly one of those people that is over critical with my belongings and they cannot be bad or I will freak out! Luckily they took care of everything for us and that my belongings came in one piece and not pieces. As others mentioned they offer a discount for cash payment, and I was quited $145 an hour for 2 movers for the 2.5 hour minimum for my job. They were very flexible on timing compared with other companies. On the day of the move I let them know I was ready earlier than booked and they accommodated. They also came with 4 movers instead of 2 at no additional fee and got the whole job done in 45 minutes. The team were four friendly young men and they were super easy to work with, respectful, and careful with my things. They were willing, when I asked, to also remove some large garbage items for an extra fee. Overall: super communicative booking, flexible scheduling, competetive prices and a job well done! Would use again.
