    Hole 9

Course needs some better upkeep, and carts need to be cleaned better. Found cigarette buds in ours. Played 9 hole for cheap but disappointed overall.

Staff were friendly and the greens were great. My husband said they have put in a lot of work to the course since he last played (7-8 yrs ago). I will definitely play again the next time we come down.

Course was ok. However, service was terrible. Guy behind the counter at pro shop was an a$$. Will not ever be back.

The woman behind the bar, may have been the owner, was so kind, caring and attentive. She made conversation with me over my license from Colorado, asked my name and remembered it as I was leaving saying "have a nice day, Nate" Soooo sweet and kind. A true gem of a human. She even had regulars that she said "I told you when we were on that hike that I owe you a drink so this ones on me" freaking precious. Okay now that I'm done praising the owner/bartender. The food was exquisite too. I got a basic cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. It was cooked well and was enjoyed heavily and quickly haha. The cook even came by to check that I liked it as well. Very warm place with great food. Much enjoyed. The place was clean and kept up well. This was one of the first dive bars I had been to where they had slots and that was a bit of a twist. I didn't roll the dice on them as the only thing I gamble on is once a year and that the horses at the Kentucky derby. Keeps my gambling in line and doesn't upset the in-laws too much. If I visit Seaside OR again, I will absolutely find myself back here for another delicious burger and friendly interaction.

4.5 stars... well, let's call it four and a half with a raised eyebrow…read more Time's Theater and Public House has been part of my life since I was three years old. Three. I couldn't tie my shoes, but I could sit in that theater and stare at that big glowing screen like it was the second coming of Hollywood. From childhood all the way to 18, that place wasn't just a theater it was a landmark. It's iconic. It's got bones. It's got stories in the walls. I remember walking in one time and the screen was down, sports blasting on that big canvas like God intended. That's how you use a theater, folks. You don't buy a cowboy hat to hang it on the wall you wear it. Same principle. Now listen, they've fixed up the bathrooms . Nobody wants to change "historic" restrooms. Some things should stay nostalgic. Some things should not. The food? On point. Service? Solid. Decor? Still has that old-school charm that makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than just lunch and a beer. But here's where I tilt my glass and squint a little. Last few times we've gone in, that big beautiful screen is nowhere to be seen. Instead, we're staring at giant stainless steel beer kegs stretched across the back like industrial art. Not everybody came to admire a 10-foot aluminum torpedo. Drop the screen, man. Let it shine. It's a theater. If I wanted to stare at storage containers, I'd tour a shipping yard. And here's the kicker we walked in at lunch, only a couple folks inside. By the time we left? Elbow to elbow. Packed out. The business is hopping. Which tells me you're doing a lot right. I just think when you've got that kind of space and that kind of history, you let the screen fly. Give the people the ambiance. Don't buzzkill the magic with beer tanks. I love the place. I'll keep coming back. But pull that screen down and let it do what it was born to do. That's worth half a star right there.

I am into lagers and they had more than 1! Yay! I usually am only finding one at different places. I had a sampler tray and got all of the lagers. The place has a huge theater-sized screen and they were playing a game on the screen. The lights are kept on so don't think it is an actual movie theater style. They have tables. Crab cakes were expensive and underwhelming. Ceviche was literally nothing but cheap bay shrimp. I ordered the halibut tacos for my main with no mango salsa because of an allergy. It came with mango salsa and the wrong kind of tortilla. Before I could say anything waitress bolted away from the table. I think she knew it was wrong. We had to flag down another waiter after looking for ours for ten minutes, rest of the party had almost finished their food by that point. Two other people had incorrect orders as well but chose to deal with it as it wasn't allergies. Finally got correct order and I wish I would have just sent it back with no replacement. Halibut was almost non existent, it was more of a cabbage taco. The rice was gross and tasted old. The beans were bland. When our waitress finally did come back she said nothing about my incorrect meal. She actually became rude and cold, wouldn't even look at us. I had just received correct meal and two others ordered more drinks since we would be staying longer. Took over 20 minutes to get more drinks and she had become so cold that we were all convinced she might have spit in them. New drinks were left untouched and I left hungry.
