Not an easy course for new to weekend players. Links indeed. Narrow fairways, placement golf, but well maintained. Spendy for sure.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch at the clubhouse dinning room. The service was very good, and the sandwiches were tasty.

Awesome time! Place was kept together which can be hard in January. The McMenamin's is a nice touch too!

5 stars isn't enough for this gem of a course. Fun course, great condition and super friendly people.

Nice and fun course. Definitely worth a stop if vacationing near by. A bit pricey but a fun course.

Seaside Golf Course - Hole #6!

Seaside Golf Course what a place. Let me tell you, this course is an oldie but a goodie, a real…read morepiece of Seaside history. It's been there forever. And honestly, with how much Seaside has grown, I'm amazed it's still standing. Land like that near the coast? Very valuable. Very tempting for developers. You look around and think, "How is this not already a row of condominiums and mega homes?" But thankfully, it's still here. Now look, is it perfect? No. The course shows its age. There are some cracks, some rough edges, and sure the clubhouse could use an upgrade. I'd love to see someone put serious money into it. A beautiful clubhouse, some improvements, really polish it up. Because the truth is, this place is a diamond in the rough. What people don't seem to understand in some of these reviews is what this course actually is. They come in, criticize everything, pick it apart and half of them probably don't even know the history of Seaside. This isn't some brand-new luxury resort course. It's something better in its own way: a nostalgic, classic local course where you can actually afford to play. The staff? Friendly. The value? Very good. And let's be honest being able to hit a round of golf right in Seaside is pretty special. Not every coastal town keeps something like this around once development starts rolling in. My biggest hope is that someone smart sees the potential here. Invest a little, upgrade it, polish it up like flipping a house, but for a golf course. Because if the wrong people get it, this could easily turn into another strip of condos and kiddie attractions, and the history would disappear overnight. So I'm giving it four stars. Not five, because yes it needs some upgrades. But for the history, the value, and the simple fact that a course like this still exists in Seaside... that's something worth appreciating. And frankly, we need more places like it, not fewer.

Every year we travel to Surfside for at least a week. Family had a 2nd home here for many years…read more.. and at each visit we would play a round on this great 9 hole course and be challenged frequently! The owner takes excellent care of the course, always adding a new twist to a hole or two.... You may see deer, Eagles or an occasional bear to keep it even more interesting. Always a fun round.. and a nice deck to enjoy a cold sip after. Make sure you grab a tee time next visit to the Long Beach WA Peninsula!

Updating due to price increases Started coming here as it is…read morethe only driving range on the LBP, or even the greater Astoria area unless you're a member at an expensive golf club. The driving range has mats, arti turf, or you can step down to swat from the trimmed grass. Lovely little 9-hole golf course, super affordable green-fees ($25 for 9); carts are $16. I'd say these are the best greens for miles around (comparable to prestigious Gearhart Golf Links) For us, as beginners, its challenging enough, lots of stealthy sand traps, ponds. Not many dog-legs. You can usually find your balls in the out-of-bounds area, unless its someones yard, in which case, respect the property owners. Deer abound, birds singing and flying everywhere (in spring/summer at least). Well maintained fairways and greens - i did notice the greens suffer a bit in the late summer due to the drought, but they've brightened up nicely that the rains are back. Watch out for monster goathead bush on the back fairways, best to leave the ball than tangle with them. Dastardly 8th hole you must clear a water obstacle, be ready with spare balls if you suck like me! Couldnt find a friendlier proprietor/pro Jon K. I havent seen any signs up advertising lessons, I assume they offer it. Rental clubs available. Carts always clean and run good. Nice deli/sandwich shop inside the clubhouse, but their hours dont always match the pro shop so might call to check if you intend to eat there.

Finally played the course yesterday - we recently started playing, and both of us had a lesson here…read moreover a year ago with Joe(?) and enjoyed his tutelage (i rarely get to use that word). My fear of knocking a ball into Pacific Highway traffic on the 9th hole kept me away until now. Yes they are practicing great COVID-19 protocols here! Face masks, hand sanitizer, etc. Friendly helpful pro-shop. Decent prices on stuff here. Bonus: Fido can come! Yes, dogs are welcome! Its a fairly short course yardage-wise. All par3 and 4, with most par 4s being low 200yd(white). The longest is the first hole at 320 I think. Dont let the yardage fool you tho, it can be a challenging course, as in, you'll have plenty of opportunity to lose your ball(s) here. Its a pretty course as well, nice wooden bridges over water hazard-ditches, birdhouses, lots of benches. All of the holes have good signage and illustration. I like having the red 100yd markers on longer holes. The red tees provide a generous advantage, sometimes as much as 100yds. The greens were in wonderful shape! Rates are super-reasonable, I think it was $16(?), carts $14? - i just know for both of us with cart AND a new glove it was $64. No driving range here. The co-mingled 'COVE' restaurant (separate Yelp entity) has good drinkage and foodage for your after-round pleasure. We had a great time here, looking forward to the next round, Lee-loo (our doggie), gives it 5 yelps.

Played disc golf and it's awesome! Dog friendly, restaurant and pro shop on site, the upkeep is…read moreperfect!
