I would like to tell you that a 71-year-old grandmother, who had just completed a year of fighting…read morebreast cancer, stood just inside the front entrance of Wings & Waves for four hours while her three grandsons enjoyed the park because she couldn't accompany them without paying full admission for attractions she had no intention of using. But I can't honestly tell you that. The truth is, I chose to stand there on principle. I had absolutely no intention of swimming, using the slides, or taking advantage of any of the attractions. I simply wanted to spend the day with my grandsons, watching them laugh and making memories together. Instead, I was expected to pay approximately $40 simply to walk through the gate and be with my family. I understand that every business has the right to set its own admission policies, and I respect that. But I also have the right to decide when a policy simply doesn't make sense. So, for four hours, I stood just inside the front entrance near the front door while my grandsons enjoyed the park--not because I had to, but because I couldn't justify paying full admission for services I never intended to use. My hope is that Wings & Waves will reconsider this policy. A reasonably priced spectator pass for grandparents, parents, caregivers, or anyone who simply wants to accompany their family without participating would make the park far more welcoming to families. I truly hope no other grandparent has to make the same choice I did.

We loved the Cosmic Crash bumper cars, the Ferris Wheel which had an amazing view of the park, the Go Karts of course, the fast Rock & Roll ride with great music, and the Carousel. Our favorites were the rollercoaster which we did twice, I did the Zero Gravity ride twice which was fun and surprisingly relaxing too, and we loved the adrenaline rush of the AtmosFear ride. We chose the 180 option. Definitely will try the 360 option next time. Great they have those two choices. We stayed for hours. Clean park. Bathrooms were clean. Plenty of food and beverage options available. Merch for sale. Kiddie rides, family rides, adult rides. Great for groups, family, kids, teens, adults, couples. Soooo fun! Such a relaxing time but a super fun day and a great date activity. Waits for rides were not long, people were respectful, and staff were efficient. Can't say anything about the food as we ate before coming to the park so we didn't try anything but next time I would love to give the classic elephant ears a try! My day spent here definitely felt like an escape. A place to leave your worries behind and just have a good time. Such a thrill! Highly recommend Oaks Amusement Park. But they're freaking expensive; we played the pond one since it was a guaranteed win and the odds of a 3 year old playing any of the other games successfully are pretty low. But it was 6 bucks. There were 3-4 other games in that area. It wasn't a very extensive park. And when we went on a Friday in August, there only seemed to be one of the food trucks open--the boba truck. So that was disappointing. But luckily they had other food, and that food wasn't too bad. Parking isn't bad. There's lots of it and it's cheap, I think it was $2.
