We were looking for a local semi-formal restaurant for a nice seafood dinner during our visit, and this place was perfect! It was almost empty at 5 on a Friday, and I'm not sure why because the food was fantastic. I really liked the vegetarian risotto and lobster pasta, and the bread they brought out was great too. Definitely come here to get some reasonably priced but high quality seafood! read more

Amazing food! From the bread and dipping sauce to the best ever crap cakes to the steak and shrimp. Best meal I have had in a long time. My steak was over done. I requested medium but it was well done. Once I got my server he fixed it and apologized. That did not matter because the meal and service were amazing. Everyone loved their meals and were talking about it for days. Don't be put off when you pull up in the strip mallish type building. It was clean and not low budget looking. I will definitely be back!!! Best birthday dinner ever!! read more

Seaside Florida Grill 1550 A1A Satellite Beach, FL 32937 4 Stars I was excited to try Seaside Florida Grill in Satellite Beach, as it has the same owners as Le Crepe De France, which would be a BBDO Top 5- 5-star restaurant if they fixed the service nightmare. I know it sounds hypocritical when I consistently say service doesn't matter, only execution. This place is the exception that proves the rule. However, that does not appear to be the case here. Seaside Florida Grill is humming along on all cylinders. The first thing I noticed was their fantastic drink menu. Gina is our service professional today and she is outstanding in every way. I asked Gina for one plate of Lobster Pasta, an order of Lemon Caper Grouper, some Blue Cheese Mussels and one New York Strip (medium rare). I snapped some pics of the place, and that was when I realized there was zero internet access. There was no usable WiFi at all, and it would seem this building effectively blocks all service. This is not a bad thing. Talk to your tablemate! Gina was soon seen returning with our order, and I set myself to the task at hand. Turn your peepers to the photos, and you will see how delicious everything looks. However, as we all know, looks can be deceiving, so I put my tools of culinary extirpation in my hands and got to work. Every now and then, when I use words or phrases such as "culinary extirpation," I get some joker on Social Media screaming about the grandiloquence of my diction. I'm not trying to sound pompous; it's just how the words flow sometimes. Returning to the job at hand, I plopped a forkful of the Lobster pasta in my mouth and was immediately wowed by the sauce. The Lobster was tender and cooked to perfection. But, it's the sauce that stole the show here. When reading it on the menu, I was apprehensive as I thought the White Cheddar cheese sauce might overpower the delicacy of the lobster meat. Usually, one sees a dish such as this with a milder cheese such as Provolone or Gruyere. This was not the case as the sauce perfectly complimented the exquisite Lobster meat. Kudos! Moving on to the Lemon Caper Grouper. The fish was fresh, tender, and cooked to flaky perfection, while the sauce was, again, spot on. This is your basic lemon caper butter seafood sauce; there is nothing special in that. It's the execution that sets this apart from other joints. Whoever was the Saucier back there deserves a raise! This sauce had my taste buds looking for a dance partner. This brings me to the second-to-last dish to be reviewed: the Blue Cheese Mussels. These are the same mid-grade New Zealand Mussels found in every joint in the country. This dish isn't about the mussels; it's all about the sauce. Consisting of blue cheese, white wine, shallots, and parsley, this sauce would win awards in any competition anywhere. Hands down. Amazing! Turning to the last item on my plate today, the New York Strip, listed on the menu for a paltry 29 clams, I just had to try it. While it was cooked properly, it tasted as expected. It was choice grade (if that) and not prime. With a higher grade of protein, this place could be Best of Brevard. The execution and sauces are outstanding. The Big Boy says, "Go ahead. Give 'em a try. You won't be disappointed." read more

Server was friendly. They didn't have a couple apps that we wanted to try that hadn't been taken off the menu yet. The rosé marg was delicious. Food portions & drink quality matched the prices. The scallops were our favorite, delicious & memorable. We wanted to get another order but the kitchen was closing. Fish dip flavorful, nice smokiness. Veggies were fresh. Crab cakes were underwhelming. Too thin & not enough crab. The food didn't take long. Bread n oil was served complimentary. Plenty of seating, at the bar as well as outside. Definitely recommended. read more

The food was better than expected. Service was a little awkward and their attire seemed off for dinner service. Ribeye and filet mignon were cooked perfectly and had a great char. Dessert was good. Not amazing but good. Old Fashions were not great and I would not order them again. Ultimately, the I-just-rolled-out-of-bed vibes from the server threw off the ambiance for us. Made us feel out of place, like maybe we should take our casual date-nights somewhere nicer. But, the food was good so we'll still give it another go. read more

Don't overlook this gem. It's got an enormous parking lot and looks constantly empty, but the good news is you'll probably get a table immediately. I couldn't decide between the grouper, snapper or shrimp and scallops, and based on Lexi's recommendation I went with the shrimp and scallops. She didn't steer me wrong! YUM YUM. The rainbow carrots were al dente and delicious. I opted to sub the mashed potatoes for the wild rice, and will try the rice next time, likely when I sample the snapper. My mother chose some sort of mango chicken bowl with plantains she said were the best she ever had, and my father chose the filet mignon, medium rare (he wanted Pittsburgh MR, but they'd never done that before and he was reluctant to be a guinea pig) said it was perfect. We shared a magnificent key lime pie to finish our meal. On a Saturday night at 6pm there were two tables being served, it would be a shame for this place to not get the recognition and attention, but more importantly, YOUR BUSINESS! Looks like it has a sexy bar as well - we shared a very reasonably priced $24 bottle of Merlot from California that was delicious, but I can't comment on the cocktails. I'd recommend you give it a try. read more

While in Cocoa Beach we were looking for a place to get a nice steak dinner. At first we were a little concerned that the parking lot was pretty empty but we were there on the early side. Griffin (our waiter) was excellent, bringing samples of wine before we made a choice. We had salads before which were excellent and they also brought a small loaf of warm fresh bread and olive oil. Our Filet Mignon was excellent and the sides were good as well. Griffin was very flexible in making some adjustments in sides due to my wife's food allergies (good plus). The Ambiance is good although maybe lacking a little for the level of food they serve. We split a piece of coconut cream pie and it was definitely frozen and not worth doing. The meal was overall very good but I would skip dessert. They had a nice outdoor seating area too but it was kinda windy so we opted to be indoors. I would definitely go back if/when we come back to this area. read more

Seaside Florida Grill - Filet mignon with mashed potatoes and green beans - Seafood Near Me - Satellite Beach, Florida

Wednesday night, 6:30 reservation, party of 3 for my adult daughter's birthday. Arrived right on time only to find the place 100% empty of any customers at all. Should have been warning sign #1. We were not greeted at reception desk so after a few minutes I loudly and repeated hollered "HELLO". After no reply I continued to say HELLO while I walked all the way to the kitchen where they finally heard me. Rude waitress stated "I''ll be with you in a minute Sir. Sit wherever you'd like" I must have been interrupting something ;) We sat and it took yet another 5 minutes for her to come out and then said "Wait while I go get some menus." Remember, the place was totally devoid of any customers. 5 more minutes before we saw her coming but by then we were already headed for the door! Went back to the mainland where we ended up at the Brevardian where we dropped $300 on dinner. By the way, The Seaside Florida Grill is, in fact, NOT seaside. It's in a small strip and NO view of the ocean. Do yourselves a favor and go where you are appreciated and treated like a valued customer. I now know why they were empty! read more

Excellent! We were greeted at the bar by Griffin who was friendly & offered recommendations for dinner selections when asked. When we were ready to be seated, Griffin continued to serve us at the table. He advised us of their signature dishes & informed us that the owners were the chefs & while fresh seafood was their specialty, they also had amazing steaks. My husband & I selected the grouper & our friends chose the shrimp & scallops which were accompanied with rice and a choice of another side. All ingredients were fresh and delicious We all were extremely happy with our choices. Griffin was attentive and added to our delightful dining experience. The restaurant environment is very tropical & pleasant and all of the employees were friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit. read more

Unsure why I viewed so many negative reviews. I was actually really impressed with the ambiance, we went for Easter dinner with 2 children, calm music, relaxed environment, Gina our server was well versed with the menu. Sunday, 11/23 was our third visit to this restaurant. We had a confirmed reservation for 4:00. Even though the restaurant was supposed to open at 4:00, the guy who opens did not show up until 4:19. No apology, no acknowledgement of being late. Food was good, but the lack of caring was very evident. Our server did apologize for the lateness, but she had been waiting in her car for the guy to come unlock. Unfortunately we will not visit this establishment again. They need to do better. read more

Selected this restaurant because it was close to our Satellite Beach vacation condo and had good recent reviews and a variety of seafood and steak options. Service was great... pleasant, attentive but not rushed. Three of us ordered steak and two ordered seafood. Ribeye was undercooked and strip steaks were medium, not medium rare as requested. Seafood entrees looked tasty, but diners' reactions were muted. My glass of red wine was on the verge of turning as though poured from a bottle that had been uncorked for quite some time and not properly stored. Had I complained about the steak and wine, I'm sure they would have made it better. I'm chalking it up to an off day in the kitchen, but doubt I will go back. read more

The ambiance was exceptional, the staff was great, the drinks were great. Service was friendly, well paced, all queries were addressed in a relaxed knowledgeable manner. The food was terrific. Gina was our waitress and she knocked it out the park. 11/10 if this is not on your regular list it should 100% be. I will make it a point whenever I'm in the area to dine here. Well done Seaside Grill read more

I arrived early and was the first to be seated on a Saturday evening. Loved the calm coastal vibe and atmosphere. I ordered the Sea Scallops appetizer and the Grouper entree with a side of Asparagus. My waitress Gina was wonderful. Great with menu and wine recommendations. The food was magnificent, everything perfectly prepared and served rather quickly. Each dish was served with baby arugula and radish slices which added a nice touch. The warm artisan bread and seasoned olive oil dip was a great addition. The wild rice and asparagus were spot on but the Scallops and fresh grouper stole the show. Great service and a really enjoyable meal and experience. I will definitely be back. read more

With some attention to detail this place could be really good instead of average or a shade below average. 1. Don't serve bread if it's straight out of a package and you don't even bother to warm it up. It's so much less expensive to make your own rolls. And it makes such an impact. Even chain restaurants make this a priority (Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse)If you don't have the man power, just buy a quality roll from a local bakery. Or just skip it altogether. 2. What is happening with the music? It's loud club music. Who is your target customer? We were the only table in the place and we couldn't hear each other because of the music. 3. Attention to detail in the food would go along way. While the seafood was all cooked very well...there was no seasoning. No salt. No pepper. Everything needed seasoning. 4. Staff training- the commitment to quality starts at the top and is communicated and modeled. I asked for a couple of slices of limes when I ordered my drink. My server forgot and said she would go grab them. She forgot again as finally another table arrived. My husband went up to the bar to ask for the limes. He was given old, stale, entirely dry and shriveled limes. Now, most of our seafood was served with lime garnish that was clearly very fresh. Ensuring all members of the staff are committed to the guest experience is so important. The limes at the bar need to be fresh too. There is just a an overall inattention to details at this restaurant. For the $200+ bill for three people to dine, I expected better in at least one area...atmosphere, service, food quality, something. Nothing shines here and I fear this restaurant won't last long on their current trajectory. read more

Food was terrific. But the staff was super unfriendlly. Not rude of course just unfriendly. Maybe because the restaurant is owned by parisians... they are like that to their staff ....perhaps, and the staff is like that to their customers. Very sad on a Saturday night this place wasn't packed the food is great and the service is good but the staff is not friendly and borderline rude and snippety. read more

The food is delicious. I have been there twice and both times the appetizers and entrees were fresh and well prepared! They have a full bar and a nice selection of specialty cocktails. Great seafood. Good atmosphere. Poor service. This place had been open a month. They could be so much more. With prices of a fine seafood restaurant your expectations are high. The lobster bites appetizer, salmon, mahi mahi, and shrimp and scallops were grilled perfectly and very flavorful. Service wise it was a disaster. Cocktail order forgotten. Wrong salad. Piled up dishes. Empty water glasses. They had enough total staff but not well allocated. While a few were running around others were standing around talking. Requests for simple things like salt and pepper were ignored. So my advice is to get a real manager that can make this the restaurant it could be. read more

Food very good not too pricey. Great service and delicious cocktails ! Never too crowded but we usually make a reservation!

This place is a hidden gem! The service was phenomenal! The food was exceptional! We ate outside and it was amazing!

We were so excited to try this place because all of the reviews and photos were promising. Unfortunately the only thing good about this place was our server. They give you bread for the table, but it was a hoagie roll, cold and cut up to look like bread you would dip in oil and spices. It was absolutely terrible. We ordered the lobster pasta and the snapper. We both could not finish our meals. The lobster had a funny taste, mostly likely frozen. There were weird random pieces of what was maybe lobster and not actual lump meat. I'm not sure what it was but at $30 for a pasta dish I was very disappointed. The pasta and sauce were bland and not very flavorful. The Snapper dish was over cooked and dry. It's like they over seasoned to cover up the fact it was not fresh seafood. We eat fresh seafood all the time. This was not it. If you want fresh seafood or are accustomed to fresh seafood do not come here. If you are going to charge that much money for seafood do not try to fool people by using frozen food. They did give us free glasses of wine and offer to make something else but everything was just not good and we didn't want to have another dish that was subpar when we just want good food. read more

It's sad to see the decline of this restaurant. We were the only ones in the restaurant, 7pm in a Sunday night. We were there to celebrate my birthday and my niece's birthday. While our server was good, the food was not. We all ordered steaks. My filet was fine, my nieces filet was tough and chewy, my friend's steak was stringy. The mashed potatoes were like soup, just a puddle on the plates. At the price point for the meals, we asked to see the manager. Our server came back several minutes later and said she tried and tried to get the owner to come to our table, but he refused. I have never known an owner to refuse to speak to customers. Our tab was over $200. Considering we were the only customers, and in the 3 times we've been there, the restaurant has never been crowded, I suspect it won't be open much longer. read more

The Snapper was kinda rubbery and 30 minutes after I left I feel bad. It's not on my list of places to go.
