Local bar vibe. Lots of friendly folks. Grabbed a frozen Rum drink called "Banana Split," fish with sweet potato fries, and a beer. Servers were friendly. Location is clean with a view of the ocean. Indoor/outdoor seating and upstairs/downstairs seating. Looks like they have a bar downstairs and a stage for a band above on the second floor.

Parm Crusted Pizza , super cheesy

Cool dive bar vibe, went on a Monday night for dirty bingo and had a great time with lots of laughs. Waitstaff was super attentive. I got the parm crusted pizza, it was super cheesy and delicious even had some leftover for lunch the next day. Definitely recommend if you like the beachy dive bar atmosphere.

We had a fun time here. It's a quirky place with some interesting decor, including a huge ball of bras! I assume these were donated or shed over the years but either way this is a cool place to have some drinks, sit on the patio and look at the ocean or sing karaoke. It was all fun and games until I found myself on the stage singing Alan Jackson, no one wanted to hear that, trust me. Give them a try if you're in the Melbourne/Indiatlantic area. It's a bit of a dive bar so don't expect anything fancy but if you're looking for cold beers and genuine people, this is the place.

Lou's Blues was an experience. A great one! We raveled to Melbourne to visit family and found the Is fun place for after hours music. We walked in expecting blues music, but that night, the band booked was Switch, ft Ana. It was 80s Rock and my little heart started doing flips. It was fantastic! Every single person in there was having sooooo much fun! Immediate fan! And speaking of fans, there was definitely one on stage. Loved the atmosphere, service and will come back and try the food. We will definitely be back and bring friends.

This is the view sitting on the deck as the sun was going down.

It was a good burger, and the servers were very friendly. The food came out quickly and was cooked to just the temperature that I'd asked for. The fries were hot and crisp. It definitely has a biker bar vibe to the place It's hard to get a better view than sitting there looking at the ocean while you're drinking a beer and eating a burger. I may go back sometime.

Never disappoints. Cheap cold beers. Refillable mug w WHATEVER you want. Yes please tonight we got the 1.5# peel and eat shrimps. Delish!!! Great daily specials!! Do you love 70's & 80's rock music? Great tunes. Beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean!! Such a great vibe! The service is friendly. Though I feel they prefer locals. We've become regular and the staff has warmed up to us after 3 seasons. You can't miss if you come here. The balcony is the best.

Such a vibe! We popped in at the recommendation of a friend and we were so glad we did! There was a live band playing a ton of 90s and 2000s alt rock and other music, not to mention some really great line dances and merengue between sets. The crowd was electric and dancing like no one was looking which was refreshing. The drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced. I stuck with the margarita and the hubby, whiskey and corona along with ice water. Refreshing and delicious combo. Special mention.... A duh moment... I left my phone in the ladies room stall and was able to retrieve it at the bar's lost and found! What a great group of people. We loved this place! Take a visit any day of the week but Saturday was amazingly lit!

Lou's Blu's is the perfect place to go hang out and listen to some of the best bands in Florida, it's always a good vibe and excellent music to listen to while having drinks and food while you party...

Dottie's salad was also great as was the creamiest cole slaw side I ordered. The potato chips that comes with the entree is also a must. Thanks again to our server, sorry I forgot your name. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more When it comes to the restaurants within Downtown Melbourne/Melbourne Main Street, I often stress that the ones on the edge of the river and/or marina are some of the best ones if you want a meal with a view. The Mansion and Chart House come to mind. The one my family wanted to go to was Ichabod's Bar & Grille. Unfortunately, its popularity exceeded its capacity and the waittime was over an hour. Ergo, we went to their sister location on Melbourne Beach, the one right across from Paradise Beach. Maybe, I was expecting a bit more as the Melbourne Beach location is the newer location meaning it had the OG to learn from, but it did not live up to that standard, at least the one I had in my head. Though an address is provided, this Ichabod's Bar & Grille - which I will shorthand simply to Ichabod's for the remainder of this review - is located as a stand-alone business right across the entrance to Paradise Beach. Ichabod's surely has that look of being a dockside restaurant despite being "landlocked," but good luck parking nearby. The parking situation has always been bad around the area. Inside, the seating is limited in which the majority of seating seems to be at the two bars. I guess Ichabod's is catering to a certain demographic pertaining to who dines inside. Outside, there are more tables for families and groups. That is where my family and I sat for our meal. Our waitress Jordanann, God bless her soul, was the only waitress working. She was running around like a chicken with their head cut off as she served everyone both inside and outside the restaurant. Despite her situation, she remained focused and kind. I definitely gave her a big tip for how hard she worked. As for the food, it was... well... okay. I always get fried fist fillets whenevere I come to a new seafood restaurant, along with crab cakes. There was shell in the crab cake, which I find to be a bit of a norm with a little piece, but there were some thoroughly recognizable pieces in my mouth when biting right in. And the fish, well... it was... okay. Not the best fish I ever had, but not bad where I would not finish it or at least take it home. Other food my family ordered includes the Mahi Sandwich, Our Burger, Shrimp Wrap, Caprese Burger, Jerk Mahi Plate, and the Jerk Shrimp Plate. Overall, the initial visit was very lacking. Though I do not fault the waitress herself, I do fault the restaurant for only having one waitress for this shift. I assume they are having a troublesome time keeping staff. I will definitely come back and give them a second chance. Can't just say Ichabod's is what they are over one visit, but for this initial visit, this is the kind of rating I would give them. If they improve over an average, i will reconsider changing the rating and updating the review.

The décor is beautiful, and the combination of indoor seating and large garage doors opening to a spacious outdoor patio creates a fun date-night vibe with excellent beach views. Be aware that the indoor dining area was so loud. We opted to dine al fresco. The drink menu is creative, but cocktails are on the pricey side at around $15+. I tried the seasonal margarita and was surprised by how small the glass was for the cost. To be fair, it was served without ice (just how I prefer it), which likely factored into the size. Even the water glasses seemed unusually small. Service was excellent across the board. The entire staff worked together seamlessly, but the true standout was Peter, the host. When seating guests, he offered a choice between tables, a thoughtful touch I watched him extend to everyone. Throughout the evening, he seemed to be everywhere at once, helping deliver drinks and desserts, checking restrooms and supplies, assisting staff, and ensuring guests were taken care of. The ultimate example of his attentiveness came when I accidentally left my purse behind while walking on the beach. Peter actually started heading toward the beach to make sure I got it back. His attitude, work ethic, and willingness to help in every area made a lasting impression. Food prices are also on the higher side. I wanted to sample a few items, so I ordered two appetizers: the mussels, which were plentiful, and the shrimp and crab cake. I'm very particular about crab cakes, and this one was excellent and highly recommended. The portions were filling, though next time I'll probably order an entrée since the pricing works out similarly. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his double stack smashburger, and we couldn't pass up dessert. The chocolate cake was enormous, incredibly moist, and absolutely delicious. Overall, Boardwalk Bar & Grill offers fantastic views, a great atmosphere, excellent service, and quality food. Just be prepared for premium pricing. If you're looking for a fun beachside date night with outstanding hospitality, it's definitely worth a visit.

Friday night at Boardwalk Grill in Indialantic was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. We started with the burrata and fish dip, both fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the evening. For our entrées, the steak and salmon were cooked to absolute perfection. While I was sitting at the bar waiting for a drink, Bridget singled me out in front of other customers and questioned me about not leaving a tip. She made comments about why I was there if I wasn't tipping and then refused to serve me another drink because it. She continued with "Aww, what are you gonna do, just stand there?" I was caught completely off guard and felt embarrassed being put on the spot in front of everyone. What made the situation even stranger was that she had barely interacted with me all night. She wasn't even my main bartender. She poured me like one shot. The entire interaction left me feeling humiliated. Other people saw what happened and even approached me afterward and expressed how bad they felt for me. Some even bought me drinks because of what they witnessed. When complete strangers are apologizing for the behavior of your staff, that's a problem. Some also mentioned that they had seen and heard about Bridget's behavior on several occasions. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. As my friends and I were leaving, Bridget came outside and made a point of speak loudly and directly to me in a way that felt sarcastic and mocking. She watched our entire group leave and didn't say a word to a single other person which only reinforced the feeling that I was being targeted. I've worked in customer service and understand that tips are appreciated, But publicly embarrassing a customer, refusing service over a tip, and then continuing to antagonize them afterward is completely uncalled for. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was my first time going out with friends since losing my younger sister. I was looking forward to a night of laughter, music, and a chance to take my mind off everything for a few hours. Instead, I left feeling disgusted and disrespected. Customers come to Salty Fox to relax and enjoy themselves, not to be shamed by staff. The way I was treated by Bridget was unacceptable and by no means should be tolerated. :( The owners don't really care about their business and her repulsive behavior because there has been multiple complaints and she's still there. Also, looking at their reviews on google instead of trying to resolve the issues, they make sly and smart remarks to their customer. You should want the best for your customers and business but they are condoning horrible customer service which is pushing people away. Do better Salty Fox! I used to love coming here with a whole bunch of my friends but Bridget put a real bad taste in my mouth and I don't think we'll be back.
