Dive bar tucked into a little strip downtown, The Salty Fox has a laid back vibe with solid drinks and a welcoming feel. There's two pool tables if you're in the mood for a casual game, and the queso was solid. Great spot to with multiple bars walking distance.

My favorite spot for brunch and bottomless mimosas in Melbourne! $10 bottomless from 11AM-2PM on the weekends and they really are BOTTOMLESS. The servers and bartenders do a great job of making sure your glass is always full. If you come on the weekend there is a live DJ so it really is a fun atmosphere. The food choices are also very fun!

Came back for their weekend brunch and I have to say, the bottomless mimosas for $10 almost had me on the floor. They also offer a mimosa flight with various flavors to choose from like OJ, guava, strawberry, and even peach rosemary. The servers were constantly checking in on us and making sure our glasses were full! There was a DJ on the weekend who was playing a great mix of hip-hop mash-ups. The food served during brunch varied from breakfast tacos, sandwiches, and even corndogs; The 'lazy deviled eggs' were the perfect start, btw! This place is a must for brunch whether with friends or family!

Best bar in Melbourne hands down ! Great bar food, the chicken buffalo panini is my favorite. Great selection of craft beers and cocktails ! Emo nights on Mondays are fun and the Bloody Mary's on Sunday are outstanding

So honest talk here. It's a bar, with bar food and bar ambience. If you go in with that expectation you will not be let down. There is a small sitting area in the back along side a pool table and 2 video games. When you walk in you are greeted by a pool table and the "main" bar if you will. Not a bad place, not a great place. It's a bar. Nothing more, nothing less. I got the Buffalo chicken panini. Less than impressive but it's a bar. It came with a....pickle and it was $12, I think I was supposed to get chips but they never showed up . Enough said. Place might be hopping on a Friday or Saturday night but parking is limited and it's located in downtown Eau Gallie Art district....so meh if you ask me. My beer was ok, grabbed a Kona while I was there but one could argue on the temperature .

Went there on the whim because we were walking around and heard the music so we thought we would stop in because we were getting a little hungry. The food was amazing and the prices were even better. We went on a Sunday and it was bottomless mimosas and we were very happy with the service.

That was a good sandwich. I went there for one they stopped making, unwittingly, the Bartender recommended an alternate, and they nailed it! The bartender was super cool. I went around 5 for dinner, I'm old, but I liked it. The cook was concerned about how I wanted my sandwich too, asking if I liked it, I did. I like the place, casual. I live by the other Causeway, but I'm thinking this is my Sandwich Joint now.

My husband and I found out specifically about TSF's Saturday and Sunday brunch on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Upon first arrival, I hadn't realized the location is a dive bar but I don't judge! The music was great (mix of old and new hip hop and pop) and the waitress came to take our order shortly after we were seated. We both ordered bottomless mimosas, which looks like they keep premixed behind the bar. The mimosa was a great mix of OJ and champagne (heavier on the champagne). Husband got the Basic Burrito and I ordered the cheeseburger sliders with buffalo dip to share. Shortly after, I was told the restaurant was out of the cheeseburger sliders so I ordered the buffalo chicken sliders, as well as the French toast sticks. Food came out fairly quickly and our waitress never let our mimosa glasses get empty. Food was pretty good for decent brunch fare. I would consider coming back for the overall vibes.

I always come In here at least a couple times a week the vibes are good I feel comfortable it has that family feeling to it. I can easily say this is the best bar in our town. Amber the bartender is AMAZING I always love coming in when she's working she's super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly she's quick when making our drinks. The drinks are always on point I can't complain with the service here honestly. The whole staff is friendly and makes you feel like family I love it!

Ok let's talk about the salty fox. I'm salty leaving this review as you can tell by the rating. We walk in and there is no service so we sit at the bar. Fine no big deal. We get the Buffalo dip (based on the recommendation) and it was disgusting and to top it off was the smallest portion ever. The chips were dry which makes me think they were stale and old. They didn't have many options available. No cheeseburger sliders, no mango sauce. So basically it was chicken or pork. So they didn't have anything I actually wanted. Yelp, you all failed me. This place is max 2 stars and honestly this was awful. The music they had randomly playing made me want to put on earmuffs. I mean the service was ok but the bartender needed some support. The pours were a little short too. Sorry people this place isn't it. I would rather go to Taco Bell and order some tacos there. Ugh I really wanted it to be good. Good luck salty I won't be back.

We came at happy hour and the prices were great. A little loud and tight to get around in, but the drinks were good and the food was as well. Service was at the bar, but very friendly bartender and chef! The chicken wings were good and reasonably all priced. The funnel cake fires are to die for!! You have to try them.

Great place to grab a beer or play some games. Fun vending machine with adult items. Kitchen closes way earlier than bar so be aware.

Very well executed, deliciously fried, and still tender! 2 - Fish sandwich. Wow, this was so well balanced. The bun itself was not soggy, and stood up to the good textured and good sized piece of grouper. Slaw was perfect, crisp didn't overpower. Highly recommended for great brunch with a view!!

My wife sent her coconut shrimp appetizer back because it looked raw. The bartender took it to the kitchen and brought it back and said the cook said it was at the right temperature. I touched it and it was cold. Normal restaurant would have fired another one up. And I got the steak sandwich, which was good but the after effect I am suffering. We were fine until about 5pm when it hit us. Thanks alot! You ruined our night out with friends because we had to cancel. Funny thing is there was a nice couple sitting at the bar next to us up from the south. He ate the steak sandwich and she had only half of her shrimp BLT. I hope they didnt get sick too. Its not an upscale restaurant as the website states. Maybe you need to replace the wood table and chairs on patio so no one gets splinters. Oh well we won't be back.

We visited Charlie & Jake's on Father's Day and first impressions were great. The place was spotless, had that rustic barbecue-joint vibe, and despite the holiday crowd, we were seated quickly and greeted right away by a friendly, professional server. Service was pleasant, but our drinks seemed to be playing hide-and-seek. We had to ask for refills every single time we wanted one. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Food came out quickly. My husband ordered the smoked Old Fashioned, which arrived with enough dramatic presentation to make nearby tables stop and stare. Absolutely worth ordering. A small hiccup: when I unwrapped my utensils, the knife appeared to have some sort of residue on it. Since I didn't actually need the knife, I didn't ask for a replacement, but it was worth mentioning. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the smoked chicken. Holy smoke signals, Batman. This was hands-down the best smoked chicken I've ever eaten. Moist, flavorful, perfectly cooked. I would happily order it every week and never get tired of it. My sides were collard greens and a baked sweet potato, both served in adorable metal measuring cups. The sweet potato was good. The greens were fine, but could have used a little more seasoning and personality. My husband ordered one of the meat platters. He enjoyed it, but there wasn't anything that inspired a speech, tears, or vows of lifelong devotion. The toast, however, nearly drowned itself in butter. I wasn't aware bread could absorb that much liquid and still maintain structural integrity. It was literally dripping when he took a bite. Somewhere between toast and sponge. My hush puppies were unfortunately the low point of the meal. They tasted like someone mixed flour and water, formed little balls, and introduced them to a deep fryer. They desperately needed seasoning and I didn't finish them. The fried pickle appetizer was excellent and the portion was generous enough to feed a small pickle-loving village. When the server dropped off the check, we politely declined. We don't leave restaurants without dessert unless there's a natural disaster involved. My husband ordered the banana pudding, which came in a cute square glass container and was very enjoyable. My daughter ordered the peach cobbler. Calling it "peach" felt a little optimistic. There were approximately two peach slices in a mountain of cobbler topping. She loves crust, so she wasn't upset, but if you're expecting fruit, bring a magnifying glass. The filling itself could have used more flavor and some warm spices, and it was absolutely swimming in caramel sauce. A good vanilla bean ice cream would have elevated the whole thing. My son ordered the peanut butter chocolate pie and immediately entered a state of dessert enlightenment. Deep peanut butter flavor, rich chocolate, absolutely fantastic. Final takeaway: Order the smoked Old Fashioned. Order the smoked chicken. Order the peanut butter chocolate pie. Maybe don't order the hush puppies unless they've found a spice rack since Father's Day. Overall, a clean restaurant, friendly service, excellent atmosphere, and a few standout menu items that are worth coming back for.
