My best friend and I decided to check it this bar since we read up they have food bloody Mary's available! Arriving to the place we saw a beautiful mural on the side of the building which was very aesthetic and fitting to our vibe. As we came in, we realized we were pretty late on ordering their bottomless mimosa deal because it was ending soon so we stuck to the build your own Bloody Mary which was so fun to do. Our bartender was so sweet and really walked us through the process and gave us the best service and recommendations along with inspiration to my own Bloody Mary. What should have been an enjoyable night out became a negative experience because of serious lack of professionalism and respect from an employee named Bridget. While I was sitting at the bar waiting for a drink, Bridget singled me out in front of other customers and questioned me about not leaving a tip. She made comments about why I was there if I wasn't tipping and then refused to serve me another drink because it. She continued with "Aww, what are you gonna do, just stand there?" I was caught completely off guard and felt embarrassed being put on the spot in front of everyone. What made the situation even stranger was that she had barely interacted with me all night. She wasn't even my main bartender. She poured me like one shot. The entire interaction left me feeling humiliated. Other people saw what happened and even approached me afterward and expressed how bad they felt for me. Some even bought me drinks because of what they witnessed. When complete strangers are apologizing for the behavior of your staff, that's a problem. Some also mentioned that they had seen and heard about Bridget's behavior on several occasions. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. As my friends and I were leaving, Bridget came outside and made a point of speak loudly and directly to me in a way that felt sarcastic and mocking. She watched our entire group leave and didn't say a word to a single other person which only reinforced the feeling that I was being targeted. I've worked in customer service and understand that tips are appreciated, But publicly embarrassing a customer, refusing service over a tip, and then continuing to antagonize them afterward is completely uncalled for. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was my first time going out with friends since losing my younger sister. I was looking forward to a night of laughter, music, and a chance to take my mind off everything for a few hours. Instead, I left feeling disgusted and disrespected. Customers come to Salty Fox to relax and enjoy themselves, not to be shamed by staff. The way I was treated by Bridget was unacceptable and by no means should be tolerated. :( The owners don't really care about their business and her repulsive behavior because there has been multiple complaints and she's still there. Ok let's talk about the salty fox. I'm salty leaving this review as you can tell by the rating. We walk in and there is no service so we sit at the bar. Fine no big deal. We get the Buffalo dip (based on the recommendation) and it was disgusting and to top it off was the smallest portion ever. The chips were dry which makes me think they were stale and old. They didn't have many options available. No cheeseburger sliders, no mango sauce. So basically it was chicken or pork. So they didn't have anything I actually wanted. Yelp, you all failed me. This place is max 2 stars and honestly this was awful. The music they had randomly playing made me want to put on earmuffs. I mean the service was ok but the bartender needed some support. Ugh-I wanted to give a rave review to salty fox but I can't- My friend and I went early evening, sat at the bar, ordered drinks and then food including apps. Our drinks were amazing. The sour patch kid cocktail is on my list for one of the best in Brevard...but... Our food never showed up-it took us saying something to our server after sitting for over an hour to see what the problem was. They said the order ticket never made it into the kitchen. We were literally seated at the bar staring into the kitchen and our order was lost. Our server was too busy playing with a shirt left behind the bar to make sure our order was placed-I'll never forget the slogan on the shirt-"got osprey?".. Yes the server took the food off the bill, but she acted like she did us a favor by doing so, and when we talked to someone who we thought was a manager-they were rude and dismissive. We talked about it on Facebook in a food review group-the owner said that yes, that had a new system and some order tickets we not making it to the kitchen but.....if they knew there is a problem, our server could have walked into the kitchen to confirm they got it-they weren't busy! We were the only people at the back bar! And we could literally yell into the kitchen from where we were seated. So horribly disappointed. I left buzzed but hungry.... 2.5 for the food, at best, but 4+ for service. Christian was great and super accommodating since they weren't very busy. The food is about what you'd expect from a dive bar. The lazy devils were actually pretty clever (hard boiled eggs with toppings instead of actually deviled eggs), some of the sliders were decent (but the spicy tuna was misleading - it was literally canned tuna), and the spicy ramen was surprisingly good. Went here after doing some work in the EGAD area (between 3:30 and 4:30 pm). The bartender seemed SOOO annoyed that I had the audacity to ask them to work before 5 pm. First, the service was HORRIBLE. We were walking around this area of Melbourne and decided we wanted to have some drinks. Myself and my two guest stop in and sit at the bar. The woman who was bartending literally looked at us as we sat down (since she was literally standing in front of us) and then continued talking to her two friends for nearly ten minutes. The menu for The Salty Fox is right up my alley which is why we gave it a shot. I love panini's so I got the Jeffa Peppa panini with the tomato bisque soup. The food was good besides the fact they give you a bag of store bought chips with your sliders. As for the service, it was quite awkward. The waitress seemed absolutely miserable. We were barely greeted at the door and we felt we were troubling her for wanting to sit and eat. She clearly didn't know the menu well and when asked if they had french fries said "I don't think so". The misery continued through ordering food. I asked for a spoon for my soup (figured that's a necessity) and she didn't respond, walked away, and got me a spoon.
