After we got to my mom and I decided to walk to Hell n Blazes brewing in downtown Melbourne. We were created by a very nice gentleman who told me he would be happily to assist us and whatever we ordered not only do they have a 360 wraparound bar. They also have seating; It's a seat yourself policy. For a drink I decided to get there Mr. pink Porter, which is a American Porter with notes of chocolate caramel and coffee. It is 6.2% ABV. My mom and I are currently sitting at the bar and Boy. Is it busy right now. However, this is the only brewery/bar. I've been to where they keep their additives that they add to the cocktails with the lid on them so no one is breathing or sneezing on them which I absolutely love. The gentleman assisting us was so nice; his name is Nick. He's amazing; very kind and efficient. The ambience of the brewery is like biker gang meet industrial warehouse. Definitely recommend. The flavor of my porter is very light and crisp. It's also very easy to drink. Very, robust flavor you can definitely taste the coffee and the caramel. 10/10 read more

Even if you don't drink, the food makes it worth your while to come. The dining area is spacious, clean and my only qualm was that there weren't any tables set for just 2... Our server was quick and friendly, answered questions and was excellent overall. The food... Started with the pretzels and spicy gator. The pretzel was soft and delicious, the gator was spicy and delicious, but the fried coating was very thick and gator, very small. I had the pulled pork plate with mashed potatoes and cornbread of which was quite delicious. I enjoyed every bite. For years I didn't know Hell 'n Blazes served food. Blame it on friends who always chose this establishment as a drinks destination. My brother and his friends decided to grab an early dinner together. The bar... restaurant?... is clean and the staff are all very friendly. I ordered the trio meat flatbread and a side Caesar. The flatbread was fine, but I would probably not order it again when the menu has some other great-sounding options. The Caesar was delicious! My brother and all of his friends ordered the club sandwich (all making different changes so the kitchen is quite accommodating). They have all gotten it a couple times before so I would say they'd recommend it! We were hoping to try the bread pudding, but a table right before us scooped the last one. I thought I had reviewed this place , but apparently not. Even though we went to Melbourne to celebrate my wife's birthday, I had bookmarked this brewery as a must stop for myself. Based solely on pics of their food. And I'm glad we stopped in. After spending a half day at the zoo, we worked up quite the thirst and we were both pretty hungry. My wife was heading to a closer place , but I convinced her to drive an extra mile . Great looking interior with a huge bar , plenty of tables and lots of TVs. Our friends surprised us , they were sitting at the bar when we walked in. Our server was great. I started out with a 4 beer flight . I ordered the brisket grilled cheese, and my wife ordered an amazing burger , cooked to perfection with lots of cheese. Everything was delicious including the beer. We all had a great time watching a nfl playoff game. Only thing I would add to the menu , would be a bowl of tomato bisque soup, as a compliment to my grilled cheese sandwich. Stopped by after a long day and this place hit the spot. I tried three different beers: Todd's Crumb Catcher (my favorite), the Oktoberfest, and the Sap Tap. Todd's was smooth, nutty, and just the right kind of bold without being too heavy. The others were solid too, but Todd's earned the spotlight. My brother had the Northern Flow Lager and loved how clean and crisp it was. His girlfriend went for the tequila flight, and judging by her smile halfway through, I'd say that was a success too. For food, we went with the Cajun gator bites and fried pickles. Both were excellent, but those gator bites... easily one of the best versions I've had anywhere. Crispy outside, tender inside, and the dipping sauce brought some serious flavor. The whole vibe inside is chill and welcoming. While exploring Melbourne we stumbled upon Hell 'n Blazes Brewing, and just from the window and a quick look outside we knew that this would be a place we wanted to go for lunch. Upon entering we are warmly welcomed and found ourselves some seats by the window staff are very friendly and very helpful with our questions and requests. The place was large, well designed and had a fun vibe. The menu had multiple interesting sounding items on it and there was a huge variety of beers on tap too. I settled on the bacon bourbon jam chicken breast sandwich which knocked my socks off, it was tasty, unique and a great portion size! The food was definitely a five-star experience the only thing that I would note about it it was a little more expensive but it did feel justified because of the quality of the food hence the four-star review. We're looking forward to visiting again on our next trip back to Melbourne and trying out some other items and drinks on the menu. read more

The food selection is superb for a bar/brewery. And of course you can taste test your beer before buying it and there are rail drinks. A rustic bar with a fabulous menu!! Located in downtown Melbourne, just by the railroad tracks is a brewery that offers so much more than beer! I've been told about this place for years, but bars are not my scene so I've waited it out until the right occasion came along. It did! A group of friends wanted to go so I was down and I'm so glad I went! The place has so much charm! Very open concept with some game rooms and private event space towards the back. Their woman's bathroom has won awards and now I see why! Colorful, artistic and very very clean! Service was wonderful. Quick and helpful and plenty of great suggestions to be given. I ordered the beer flight. Their beers are so unique and it was so much fun trying so many flavors for around $10. The special was the Venison Back-strap... I had to! I ordered it rare and it came out perfect. So much flavor and tender as a filet. I dream about that steak now. The Mac n cheese was rustic and baked and oh so yummy! Classic Caesar on the side. This is a great place to stop in and sample some craft beer with a selection of four 4oz beers of your choice. I found each I chose to be flavorful with a nice aroma and good mouthfeel. I also sampled many of the snacks they offer as starters such as Bavarian pretzels with beer sauce, smoked fish dip, buffalo chicken dip and fried pickles all very tasty. After consuming several flights I made my way to the back of the brewery and played several of the free games on hand like darts, foosball and shuffle board. After about an hour of trying to find a place to eat in the area, we found He'll 'n Blazes and it was just what we needed. They have a great selection of food for kids and adults. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails. I ordered the house margarita and didn't expect much, but it was surprisingly good! It wasn't just sour mix and tequila, so when I asked for it less sweet, it was perfect. We got the pretzels, French dip, kids chicken tenders, trio of meat flatbread, the pork shank, and both the chocolate chip cookie ice cream dessert and brownie ice cream dessert. The flatbread was fine. The pretzels were a great, standard app. The pork shank was so tender and delicious! (Definitely split it with someone.) The French dips were so good. It was like eating thinly sliced prime rib. The kids loved the chicken tenders. The bartender (receipt says Aidan, but was a young woman) was amazing, giving advice on things in the local area and making awesome beer recommendations. Their location is just off from where everything else is, so I had to ask around and found out about them. They had a lot of beers on tap. This my favorite brewery in Central Florida area so it's time I give them a review. First the beer. They have such a great selection with different levels of options from light beers to IPAs and everything in between. Last time I went there was like 17 or so beers on tap. My favorite is the Keep 'em Buzzing! It's very easy to get a flight. The food options are solid as well. The HnB club is my favorite. It's a lighter food option while drinking but they have burgers, pasta, chicken and other different options. The location is very nice and the place is pretty big. Most of the times I've been during the day so it wasn't as busy but I've been in the evening / night time and it's great. Very nice vibe and great atmosphere. read more

Hell 'n Blazes Brewing (which I will shorthand to "HnB" for the remainder of the review) is one of ten breweries that call the Space Coast home. It is also the brewery located the most south on the Space Coast in Historic Downtown Melbourne. For me, HnB is the closest brewery to where I reside in Grant-Valkyria, so I am here often. So far, they do not disappoint. I will even say they are top teir in restaraunts/eateries/locations in Historic Downtown Melbourne, thus earning the distinction of at least checking them out once for both locals and tourists alike. The actual pub/restaurant/brewery for HnB is in an excellent location, one that has a farmer's market on Sunday and stands on its own along Historic Downtown Melbourne. Also, it is the unofficial "official" pub/restaurant/brewery for Northrop Grumman and the NG contract for Allied Universal. Trust me, I know because I had my interview there. The floor plan is quite large. Upon entering, you'll be in the dining and bar area. There are tables of different heights on the left, right, and up front of the entrance with a u-shaped bar in the middle with bar seating. There are areas near the front of the restaurant (south side of the restaurant) designed for local congregation and socialization. Upstairs, there are private business rooms and a huge dining area for catering and parties. Finally, the back room has more seating but has a section for bar games, including darts. Among my multiple visits here, the food has been excellent. I have pics of one of my visits only in which I got the three mushroom flatbread, which is a fancy-schmancy term for pizza, my friend got the smoked fish dip, which he complained wasn't really mahi but whitefish. I say he is no chef, so his words are given a grain of salt. Finally, I got the charcuterie board. What a fine selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts, and a spread to enjoy. Other fare enjoyed here includes the goat burger (burger with arugala, goat cheese, carmalized onions, and wild mushrooms), crawfish cakes (crawfish and andoulle sausage with a fire-roasted tomato sauce), and the beer braised pork shank (no explanation necessary). Of course HnB being a brewery, they need to have a selection of their own brews right? I will admit that I usually drink ciders, but I have had some of their fruit or dessert beers. Their Orange Creamsicle DIPA and German Chocolate Porter are very delicious if you enjoy an IPA. Overall, a solid experience whenever I go. Of course there are restaurants in the area that I would recommend over HnB for things like atmosphere, family-friendliness, good for kids, etc. Meg O' Malley's for example (which I am sure HnB will agree too because Meg's is iconic). Also, the price point can be on the higher end so if you want a fuller meal and not rely on apps, HnB may not be an option at that time. Oh... restrooms were clean and stocked and the place was clean overall. Definitely important to note too. SIDENOTE: HnB happens to be a prime location for many scavenger hunt-type games. It is a location in an Adventure Lab (made by Groundspeak, the same company responsible for Geocaching), it is a location on Brevard's Haunted Tour since the building HnB is in was the old police station... and had a morgue at one time. Finally, it is one of the breweries in the Space Coast so it is part of the Launches & Lagers II Tour. read more

I decided to try a locals recommendation. I went to Hell 'n Blazes Brewing. I'm a curious foodie so I sat at the bar to get a bite and a beer. The place was buzzing with a happy excited ambiance. I was greeted by several different people as I looked over the menu. The service was excellent and everyone had a smile. I ordered a Georgia Bound Hefeweizen. It was awesome and very delicious. I wanted to try their brisket (my personal measuring stick) but I didn't see it as a standalone menu item. So I ordered a cranberry and walnut salad and added some brisket. The brisket came out in cubed chunks. It was delicious. The only concern I had was the quality control for every pieces. Most of the brisket was moist and tender. A couple of pieces were overcooked. The salad in general was wonderful. I also ordered some Cajun gater bites. Those were just okay. I'll be back when I'm in the area. read more

Nice big pub. Didn't order any drinks but seems like they have quite the selection. When you walk in you seat yourself. We were greeted literally within a minute or two of sitting down by Nick and Stephanie (she's training, so be nice to her)! Ordered our beverages. The restaurant keeps the ac and fan on so it got a little too cool for us. So we moved tables away from the circulating fan. Ordered wings and gator bites. The wings were nice a moist on the inside. Crunch on the outside. They charge for extra ranch. Didn't know that, no one told me. Gator bites were crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful. Husband was surprised about that. Had a lot of tvs on, different sports channels. Seems like a good hangout spot. We were checked on quite often and refills never had to ask, they automatically refilled our beverages for us.
