**INITIAL REVIEW** Even though they are spread out across the entirety of the Space Coast, the true, honest-to-God Irish pubs and restaurants are some of the best I have ever been to, outside of any major cities or true rural areas with strong Irish roots. Most of the more popular Irish pub/restaurant establishments seem to add a semblance of townfare and culture by operating in "historic downtown" areas. For the Eau Galle Art District (EGAD), their Irish pub/restaurant is this one, The Cottage Irish Pub. Even though it is probably the smallest of all the Irish pubs/restaurants in the Space Coast, The Cottage Irish Pub (which I will shorthand simply to The Cottage for the remainder of this review), this one is probably my favorite for its coziness, ambiance, and simplistic yet overly satisfying menu. Though an address is given, The Cottage is located on the northeastern quadrant of the Highland Ave. and East-direction-only part of Eau Gallie Blvd. The Cottage is... well... a very cute and dainty cottage of a restaurant. You can tell that during times when the restaurant is full, they are thankful for all the outdoor seating they have, because the indoor seating is very limited. If you seat inside, you'll be given an ambiance of the locale's namesake: a cottage inn. There is a bar area that looks like it came straight out of an honest-to-God Irish pub complete with Guinness. I am sure something from Murphy or O'hara is in the bar, too. Knick-knacks of a typical Irish lore nature adorn the walls including portraits of what I assume are typical irish figures. But the coolest indoor seating is the "lower room" that has a fireplace in it. It is such a tight squeeze with so many Grandmammy's collectables everywhere, that it just fits the narrative of the ambiance. Outdoor seating is more like a party. Picnic tables and Christmas lights hanging about. Also, the northside seating has the quickest access to the restrooms which are separate from the "cottage" part of The Cottage. They are so close to single-serving that they might as well make both restrooms neutral gender. Where The Cottage stands is their service and their food. Service has always been great. Maybe it is because I go on the low-traffic hours or days, but nevertheless, I get my food quick and my water is always filled as I compliment that with my beer. I have had numerous dishes in The Cottage including Shephard's Pie and Cottage Pie (there is a difference), and numerous burgers. If there is a burger you need to try, definitely their mushroom, swiss, and bleu cheese burger. Delicious! Overall, all of my visits to The Cottage have been spectacular AND they are consistent. The only gripe that is possible is the limited seating, ergo, tf the place is full, expect a long wait if there are others ahead of you. That little criticism, as well as very minor criticisms that are probably more personal and do not delegate away from how good The Cottage Inn is are not enough to take away this perfect rated review. Five stars out of five stars over the course of four different visists at The Cottage.

Cocktails are really nice & different. Good beer selection. Bar is a bit small. Service was friendly. Does get a bit busy & a lil wait for a refill. Food menu isn't really my vibe. I'll continue to return.

Nice small restaurant with large vibe. Cozy dark inside has two dining rooms. Two out door dining areas Generous portions. Friendly fun staff. I will be back for the authentic Irish breakfast

Love this place. Inside seating is very limited. Had the espresso martini and Reuben fries. Both were absolutely delicious! This is not my first visit , nor is it my last. Parking is a challenge, so give yourself plenty of time to find a spot.

Our main reason for choosing this Irish pub was the Guinness--we had just returned from Dublin and wanted to compare. The moment we walked in, the ambience was incredibly inviting and instantly transported us back to Dublin. What truly sealed the experience was seeing live TV footage from in front of Temple Bar in Dublin--it completely caught us by surprise and made the experience feel authentic. Now let's talk about the beer. The Guinness tasted just like it does in Dublin, which was honestly shocking in the best way. We found out they take extra care by cleaning their tap lines frequently. In Dublin, because of the volume, lines are cleaned every four days; here they're cleaned weekly--and that attention to detail truly makes a difference. I also tried the Black Velvet, which was perfectly balanced and paired beautifully with my meal. Next, the food. I ordered the smash burger with bacon jam and habanero, and it was absolutely off the charts. So flavorful, incredibly tender, and honestly restored my faith in burgers. I didn't have room for dessert, but I did take some home--the homemade bread pudding. I couldn't resist. I'll be enjoying that later with a cup of tea and will gladly give a follow-up review. Thank you, Hogan's Irish Pub, for taking me right back to Dublin. The service, food, atmosphere--everything was outstanding. You truly have something special here. I only wish I were a local so I could visit more often. As an LA girl visiting this Florida location, I can confidently say I'll be back next time I'm in the area. And when I'm standing in front of Temple Bar in Dublin again, I'll be waving into the cameras--hopefully you'll see me!

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

And in Sebring, that means you walk into the cool Irish pub on the circle and soak it all in. The interior alone makes it worth the visit. Dark wood, warm lighting, that cozy tucked-away pub feel that makes you forget you are in the middle of Florida. It feels transported. It is one of those places in Sebring that you just have to see because it is so unexpectedly cool inside. Service was great. I was there for a quick in and out, so I sat at the bar and kept it simple with a chicken Caesar salad. Nothing fancy. For the price, it was very fair, and the flavor held up. No complaints. It did exactly what it needed to do, which was give me a solid meal in a comfortable setting without overcomplicating things. Now let's talk about Sebring itself. Sebring is one of those towns in the middle of nowhere Florida where you find yourself thinking, "I wonder what it would be like to live here?" while also scratching your head a little. It reminds me of The Villages before The Villages became The Villages. There is a concept there. It is adorable. It is charming. And most of the time, it is very, very quiet. Personally, I would go stir crazy living there full time. But I can absolutely see the appeal. And to be fair, Sebring is not always sleepy. It comes alive during major events like the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway, which draws racing fans from all over the world. There is also the Sebring Soda Festival, the Highlands County Fair, and various car shows and seasonal events that suddenly flood the town with energy. During those times, I imagine the entire vibe shifts. If I were to come back, it would be for one of those big events or for some serious antique shopping, because that is where this area quietly shines. Gavaghans fits perfectly into that Sebring personality. Cozy. A little unexpected. Solid. Worth stepping into.
