We had a good visit to BeachFly Brewery in late, March, 2025. We enjoyed some good bar snacks, including: (1) Beer Cheese Nachos ($9), which featured tortilla chips with beer cheese. We added BeachFly's slow-cooked pork for $4 more. (2) Chicken Quesadilla ($8), which had island chicken and pepper jack cheese between two soft tortillas, served with salsa. (3) Key Lime Pie ($6). A slice of classic Florida dessert: sweet, yet slightly tart house-made pie on a graham cracker crust topped with whipped cream. My husband was thrilled to find a good dark beer, Coffee Brown Ale, a rich brown ale brewed with Villon coffee. He also bought a 4-pack of beer cans to go. Mix & match. Thursday nights are Trivia Nights at the Beachfly Brewery. This attracted quite a few local families. Parking is free and plentiful. For any RVers out there, this brewery participates in the Harvest Hist program, with reservation through the HH website. read more

Beachfly Brewery (which I will shorthand simply to Beachfly for the rest of this review) is one of nine breweries that call the Space Coast its home. It is also the only brewery located in Rockledge, in the part of the city which is close to a "Downtown" or "Historic Downtown" (Barton Blvd.). Being a rare "only option" within its city limits, Beachfly stands out not from its uniquely artistically painted building, but the fact it is the only stand-alone business that is synonymous with Rockledge outside of any official government buildings. Thankfully, Beachfly does a great job at brewing and camraderie that comes with it, too. Beachfly is located on the southside of Barton Blvd., probably closer to the end at US-1. You'll know you're at the right buildig as it is a huge aquamarine building with a lot of beach vibes artwork on it. Fits the criteria of its name, right? From what I saw, parking is ample enough but the overflow is all gravel. Take that into account if you don't want your vehicle sitting on stones. Inside, the beach vibes continue as all the decor accompanies such with wood that looks like they came off of pirate ships and walls aligned with portholes ad seaside memorabilia. Upon entering, there seems to be what I think is a private room for parties on the right and a small room serving as the store on the left. The southwest corner serves as a bar while the rest of the taproom serves customers at a hodgepodge array of tables. Now to the good stuff: the brews. I had a lot of their fruited beers, one that was spiced, too. Can't remember the names but they were a-okay. Probably not my first choice, but I could drink it. Their root beer was delicious, though. Their food: delicious but I didn't try it all. I defiitely need to give their grilled cheese and Cuban a go so I can compare and contrast with other restaurants. Finally, a lot of stuff to do with friends and family or by yourself. There is trivia, live performances, and even games for everyone to enjoy. Overall, Beachfly is very good, but they come off as equals to the two breweries in Historic Cocoa Village that isn't far from them, either. Would I go here again? Yes. Will I go out of my way to go here? Probably not. But if I am in the neighborhood, I definitely will make a stop by. read more

Great brew pub with a chill, laidback atmosphere. We have a dog so it was great to find a brewery with amazing beer that had an outdoor space for dogs. They have tasty brews and a wide selection of cool merch. Worth the drive to visit if you havent been there - definitely one of the cooler brewpubs you can visit here in Melbourne. We are from California and are enjoying finding new places, so this will be a regular hangout for us and the dog!! read more

This is absolutely an acceptable place to grab a beer. We were in for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The crowd was small but friendly. We hadn't eaten, so we ordered (via QR code) a pretzel and some smoked Cheez-Its. Neither was memorable, but also not offensive. The "Weather or Not" beer was pretty good, and if I lived closer, would bring me back for another. The proprietors seem like decent and inclusive people. That alone makes this place worth swinging by. read more

I'm glad we came to check this brewery out. First, I appreciate that they have a real kitchen and real menu of food. With breweries it's often hard to get food so this was great. The food menu is not limited at all: appetizers, salads,sandwiches, platters, and deserts, all with a tropical fusion type twist. They didn't just say, "let's do food," they clearly put thought and effort into creating some dishes you can actually look forward to eating. Hubby had the pulled pork sandwich, I had the fish tacos. Portions were good, food was fresh, seasonings were nice. The only miss was the cilantro lime rice with beans. Just tasted like plain white rice sprinkled with cilantro and a hint of lime. But otherwise the food was yummy. The beer menu is extensive - plenty to try. Their core beers plus seasonals, must've been around 15? 7oz pours are only $3-4, pints are only $6. Cheap! We found the beers to be a little on the light side on the whole, but still flavorful and worth drinking. My favorites were the wheat (Turtle Trax) and the red ale. $10 for a flight of five? If you're going to open and operate yet another micro-brew/pub/eatery it is essential, one would think, that the first order of business would be to be or hire or partner with a master brewer. As with their distant cousin the vintner, it is preeminent they are educated, creative and persnickety when it comes to ingredients. However, it is just as vital to the success of the aforementioned saloon to have a chef equal with that of the brew-master At least, here at BBDO, we think that should be the case. With all of this in mind, I headed towards Indian Harbour Beach to appraise the offerings of food and beer (these are a few of my favorite things...) Beachfly Brewing Company had to offer the general beer lapping casual omnivorous dining public on the Space Coast. Location, in the Big Boy's estimation, as has been said ad nauseum, bears little or no bearing on the success or failure of a restaurant (if the food rocks, they will come), on the other hand, I feel providing ample parking for patrons does factor in. If people drive around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot, those with little or no patience just might decide to dine elsewhere that day. Thankfully, the Big Boy is always looking out for those spending hard earned cash on dining out and patiently awaited an open spot. As with every other Micro-Brew/Canteen, the brewing vats were central and certainly grabbed your attention upon entering. That didn't impress me so much as validate what kind of place I was in, the extremely clever display of their beers did impress me. It was engaging and with all that beer within site, how could one not feel an inner sense of joy? I mean, we are talking beer here. As soon as I was able to once again focus on the task at hand, I tried to take a seat at the bar. I was seated at a table and began to zealously read the proferred menu. Trying not to concentrate solely on the potables, I also took a passing glance at the food items. It seemed to be your standard Pub-type offering with hipster influences including the ever-popular rice bowl. A humanoid was seen leisurely approaching our table and when he finally got there, introduced himself as Julian and asked if we were ready to order or had any questions regarding the menu or types of beer on hand that day. While I found Julian to be competent in carrying out his job duties, his pace was rather languid in its execution. The first beer to be sampled was the Space Kolsch which is in the style of a crisp German ale. I found this beer to be delightful and came completely as advertised -- 4 Stars. Next to soothe my parched throat was I(hb)PA. Not only is the name creative, but I found the barley pop to be as well. With the combined pine/citrus thing it has going on, I found this to be complex and delicious and with a 3.5 Star rating, my second favorite of those sampled. Moving on to the Purple Porpoise Pale Ale. This was not as good as the SK, but it wasn't awful either and I found it to be an average example of an American Pale Ale -- 3 Stars. Continuing my journey I reached for the Turtle Trax Wheat which offered citrus notes to the aroma and taste, however, I found it not as good as the previous samples and so give it a 2 Star rating. Finally, I arrived at the final liquid bread on my flight, their Canova Sunrise Ale. While this did come as advertised and had a lovely red hue to it, I think in trying to make it less bitter they did something too much or incorrect and ended up not only brewing the bitterness out but most of the taste as well. I was taken aback as I have never experienced tasteless beer before, but here it was-- 1 Star. In short, this sampling would be more aptly named the wheel of average beer as opposed to a beer flight. With the exploration of libations out of the way, it was time to turn the Big Boy loose on the food. The Tropical Pork Rice Bowl could be humorously called the Tropical Surf and Turf Rice bowl as it came with some prawns as well as the advertised pork. The shrimp seemed to be low end or perhaps frozen too long as it had the texture of shrimp that is low end or had been freezer burned before cooking. It was slightly tough to chew and lacked any and all taste. the beans were cooked to perfection and I did find the cilantro cream to be interesting on the palate, but overall I found this offering to be on par with the last beer sampled. The Fish Tacos had huge chunks of real, honest to Babe Winkelman Grouper that was cooked properly (fish should flake apart with a fork) however what it had in preparedness it completely lacked in flavoring as it had zero, zilch, nada seasoning and the cabbage stuffed inside the toasted tortilla was from the crown, therefore, it was not rich in color nor flavor. The Big Boy says, "There are worse places to eat and drink, or drink and eat as the case may be, but there are certainly better ones than my experience at Beachfly Brewing Company. read more

Hubby and I finally made it in here today after reading they had a pina colada beer!! I love seasonal beers and wanted to try it before it was gone. Tried it as part of a flight and loved it! It was my favorite. Overall the vibe of the place is good, the beers are tasty - all have their own flavors (just like wine tasting), and the food was ok. Husband had tacos and I had a flatbread. Neither were anything to rave about, but they were tasty to eat while drinking. While, our experience was not bad, it was not awesome either. I think it's a cute place but something is currently missing to take it to the next level. read more

I love Beachfly! It is very low key and a nice place to just hangout, grab a beer and chill. I personally have not tried the food (i'm vegan and they don't really have vegan options) but I haven't had a beer I didn't like!! The owner(s) are great and do a lot for the community. I love love love that they serve with metal straws and are conscious of plastic usage and waste. Check it out on a rainy FL afternoon or go to grab a brew with a friend after work!! read more

Service was great and they had good selection of beer as well. I ordered off there specials menu and got Mac n cheese with candied pork belly for $12. Seemed a little pricey but wanted to splurge because it sounded good and I was super hungry. I was expecting a good size portion for the price but ended up getting a cereal bowl size of Mac n cheese with four bite size pieces of pork belly. The pork belly was really good but I was definitely disappointed in the portion. I don't understand who thought what I ordered is worth $12. Wanted to stay for another beer but the overpriced food left a bad taste in my mouth. I would go back for the beers just probably won't order food again. read more

I spent $10 on sad jalapeño poppers. 3 jalapeños cut in half with some cheese that looked microwaved with a little piece of bacon on it. I've been to 457 breweries and very few have kitchens with full restaurant menus, and none of them make all of their food. Spinach dip as an appetizer, steak and goat cheese on flatbread covered with spinach and arugula, and key lime pie were all exemplary. The atmosphere is also greaf, with music that helps create an island vibe. Oh yeah, the beer is pretty damn good too. I'm from out of town, but I'll be back every time I visit. read more

I love this place! Second time coming tried a new beer today called the cock of the walk! Fabulous Smokey flavor pairs well with BBQ or flat bread type foods.
