Great dog friendly brewery with indoor and outdoor seating options in Cocoa Village. This was definitely a popular spot on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! The patio out back was reserved for a private event so we sat indoors with the dogs. Huge list of beers and you're more than welcome to sample a few before you decide what to order. I had to go with the Smurfberry Sour which is the most interesting sour beer I've had in a while and a fun blue color. Multiple TVs in the taproom so I would imagine this would be a good spot to catch any game and the bartender was so nice!

A relaxed local watering hole with chill vibes and great beer. You can sample a flight from a few or all 22 on tap at the same time! They are 5 oz pours in cute little goblets for your consumption. They have a good range to select from with their most popular Time Warp Double IPA. It's a strong and slightly funky drink with character. I also tried the In The Midnight Hour S'more Milkshake Wheat that made me reminisce about cozy summer nights. The Wall Mexican Hot Chocolate Imperial Stout had a smooth cinnamon spice that lit a nice fire in my mouth. Lastly, Fork It! Cherry Pie Scotch Ale was cherry popping! Their beer selection really is bold and will have a big impact on your taste buds. Some of it can be a bit overwhelming, so definitely get a sample!!

I thought this place was pretty cool! Several picnic tables inside, super dog friendly!! Bartender really nice and helpful. Tried a few beers and all were very good! Bought a fun tshirt while there, and there was a food truck outside too which we didn't try. Really liked the vibe here and the beers!!

I really enjoyed the authentice feel in this brewery. Plus, the Halloween decor was great! The beers were delish, and you're able to taste as many as you'd like before ordering a full glass. My husband & I each ordered a 3-glass flight (each glass contained 5 oz.). The cost for both was a little over $21. *Great price* The bartender was attentive and cordial. Teh establishment was extra clean & uncluttered!

We visited while we were on vacation and ended up spending a couple of hours hanging out. They have great service, a great atmosphere, and great selections! They had 2 local ciders and so many beers, I lost count. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

What a great spot, with unique beers! The Dirty Oar has a huge selection of beer to fit every palate, which can be hard to find, as many breweries focus on just one style. The staff is great, and they are happy to talk to you about the beers, and let you sample before making a decision. They have seating at the bar, in the taproom, and a huge space out back under the covered patio. They have some games you can choose from, and Adirondack chairs to post up in and make an afternoon of it. The patio is dog-friendly, and well shaded from the sun! The staff is great, and didn't mind at all that our party of 5 was arguing over who was holding the tab, and named us as a family, which made ordering a breeze as the night went on and we all lost track of beers!

I was in town for work and just down the road from Dirty Oar so I decided to check it out. They have a covered outside patio with TV's and an inside area with bar and table seating. I loved all of the decor, the octopus presence was really cool to me. They had quite a few beers on draft (22 if I'm not mistaken) and so many of them sounded good that I decided to get a flight. My favorite was Rejoice, a pumpkin wheat. It didn't taste much like pumpkin to me which was fine because I'm not s a huge pumpkin fan but I loved the taste and it had a great biscuity aftertaste. The beertender that was there was super friendly, I really enjoyed my conversation with her. It was one of those places where you feel welcome and comfortable. I will make it a point to go back next time I'm in that area, I'm glad I decided to stop in!

Maple Scotch on the left, Solar Darkness Stout on the right - both very delicious...

The latest trip for my son and I to the local breweries in our county, and the newest kid on the block did not disappoint... Located in an area known as Cocoa Village, it has a very nice, non-descript location on the periphery of the 'Village' proper. I mention this as it makes it quite easy to get into and out of, which for visiting the 'Village' is a big thing in my book. A wide hallway-like entrance leads you to the spacious location where the bar and tables are located. There you are greeted nicely by the bartenders and are offered what's on tap via a paper printout. There were quite a few choices for such a new brewery, and they even had this concept of an "Imagination Station" where they infused their brews with flavors of candy cane, mango, coconut, and other fruity flavors. The vibe of the place was good - music playing and the huge TVs showing ChiveTV or sports - more than appropriate. The quality of what chose to drink was top-notch - I partook of their maple scotch ale and a summer saison, while my son tried their Solar Darkness Stout, the same maple scotch I had tried, and he even splurged and tried a farmhouse ale - not a single one was disappointing, each of them were quite tasty. The service was good, friendly, and they were willing to jaw with us as often as we wanted. This is one of the breweries in the county I will definitely make a return trip, and will do so soon...

Great environment, good variety of beers. I was hoping they had a Hazy IPA, didn't but other beers were good.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Apparently, the Yelp Skynet a.k.a. the AI that green or red flags reviews, doesn't like the actual name of this pub despite the fact it is the pub's name. Ergo, I will use the abbreviation VI for the remainder of this review. Besides that, you really can't go wrong going to any of the pubs in Historic Cocoa Village. VI is one of the pubs on the eastern side of the Village, in between the famous Fat Donkey's Ice Cream and the furthest east pub in the village, Ryan's. Appearance-wise, the outside fits primarily with the building, but there are some minute details that give it its own personality, primarily around its name. There is also a section of the road and sidewalk that have been garrisoned for VI as outdoor seating and games such as bean bag toss. Indoors, it is definitely your kinda pub that many of the patrons are friends. The right side (East) have long tables with many pub and drinking games such as Hook & Ring and Shut The Box. There is a bookshelf filled to the brim with board games in case patrons prefer traditional or childhood classics. The left side (West) is the "Patio," a room that is decorated by numerous plants, neon lighting, widker and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Finally, the middle of the pub is the actual bar, in the form of an L-shape serving a nice arrangement of beers from many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies across the United States. I had the Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. Other beer selections I would recommend include the Pineapple Cider by the famous Carib Brewing Co. and the Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewing. Personal note on the latter: Mango Carts, well for me, only taste good when straight from the tap. Cans are not good. And the food, it is minimal, but boy does VI know how to tug at my heartstrings as everything they have features, or could feature, cheese. They have pretzels with cheese, pickles with cheese, and my personal favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches. And for the more sophisticated patron, they have numerous choices in charcuterie boards, too. I will also state the drink prices are a bit on the high side compared to some other places I been to. And there are two restrooms that are single-serving and gender-specific. I don't believe the latter has to be gender-specific because they are single-serving. The barn doors are an interesting choice because they are not very good at blocking sound. I guess that is why VI blasts the music so nobody can hear the flatulence. Speaking of music, VI does have a small corner stage for small acts, possibly singular, to perform. Unless there is a pull-out large stage for outdoor performances, I don't see big bands, per se in higher number of members, performing here unless they can all jam in that tight-spaced stage. Ultimately, I am going to give VI three-out-of-five stars for this review. They are a solid pub that has all the fixin's of a good bar to go to. Maybe it is safe to say they really don't stand out too much, especially amongst the more unique bars in Historic Cocoa Village. But still, a good place to have a drink with friends with that "Everybody knows your name" kinda vibe.

We had a good visit to BeachFly Brewery in late, March, 2025…read more We enjoyed some good bar snacks, including: (1) Beer Cheese Nachos ($9), which featured tortilla chips with beer cheese. We added BeachFly's slow-cooked pork for $4 more. (2) Chicken Quesadilla ($8), which had island chicken and pepper jack cheese between two soft tortillas, served with salsa. (3) Key Lime Pie ($6). A slice of classic Florida dessert: sweet, yet slightly tart house-made pie on a graham cracker crust topped with whipped cream. My husband was thrilled to find a good dark beer, Coffee Brown Ale, a rich brown ale brewed with Villon coffee. He also bought a 4-pack of beer cans to go. Mix & match. Thursday nights are Trivia Nights at the Beachfly Brewery. This attracted quite a few local families. Parking is free and plentiful. For any RVers out there, this brewery participates in the Harvest Hist program, with reservation through the HH website.

Beachfly Brewery (which I will shorthand simply to Beachfly for the rest of this review) is one of…read morenine breweries that call the Space Coast its home. It is also the only brewery located in Rockledge, in the part of the city which is close to a "Downtown" or "Historic Downtown" (Barton Blvd.). Being a rare "only option" within its city limits, Beachfly stands out not from its uniquely artistically painted building, but the fact it is the only stand-alone business that is synonymous with Rockledge outside of any official government buildings. Thankfully, Beachfly does a great job at brewing and camraderie that comes with it, too. Beachfly is located on the southside of Barton Blvd., probably closer to the end at US-1. You'll know you're at the right buildig as it is a huge aquamarine building with a lot of beach vibes artwork on it. Fits the criteria of its name, right? From what I saw, parking is ample enough but the overflow is all gravel. Take that into account if you don't want your vehicle sitting on stones. Inside, the beach vibes continue as all the decor accompanies such with wood that looks like they came off of pirate ships and walls aligned with portholes ad seaside memorabilia. Upon entering, there seems to be what I think is a private room for parties on the right and a small room serving as the store on the left. The southwest corner serves as a bar while the rest of the taproom serves customers at a hodgepodge array of tables. Now to the good stuff: the brews. I had a lot of their fruited beers, one that was spiced, too. Can't remember the names but they were a-okay. Probably not my first choice, but I could drink it. Their root beer was delicious, though. Their food: delicious but I didn't try it all. I defiitely need to give their grilled cheese and Cuban a go so I can compare and contrast with other restaurants. Finally, a lot of stuff to do with friends and family or by yourself. There is trivia, live performances, and even games for everyone to enjoy. Overall, Beachfly is very good, but they come off as equals to the two breweries in Historic Cocoa Village that isn't far from them, either. Would I go here again? Yes. Will I go out of my way to go here? Probably not. But if I am in the neighborhood, I definitely will make a stop by.
