Great neighborhood bar in the rear. We keep coming back! They have food trucks some nights and music and trivia nights

I went to this ABC store yesterday, on Interlachen - needed help in picking up some tequila…read more I was fortunate enough to get "Sam" (Samantha) to help me. "Sam" went way above and beyond in doing just that - she was knowledgeable and super friendly! Such a brief encounter, but memorable enough that I wanted to leave this review for her and this location. Found out that "Sam" is the manager - she assisted me with not just tequila, but the wines I had inquired about too... she was even kind enough to help me out to my car. I can't express enough how great the service there was! Wishing "Sam" and everyone else there, all the best for the holidays and 2025! Thank you so much for everything!

Though the place is spacious, with nice wide aisles to peruse through, it's this abundance of space that hides the potential of more product they could offer, across the board. Their craft beer selection was at first blush not so impressive. But as I took the time to really inspect, I discovered they had quite a few items I had not seen elsewhere. A big plus. The staff was disengaged when I first entered, but once I had questions, they were very eager, very willing, and very friendly in their help. There's something about a smiling face who shows no weariness in no matter what's asked that impresses me. The checkout process was smooth and the prices were good. ABCs in general offer 15% discount on their "Mix-n-Match" six packs (which I love) so that's a better deal than you fine elsewhere (i.e., Total Wine.) Anyway, a clean place that could hold much more product that they are currently offering with a solid staff. Whenever in the area again, I'll definitely be stopping by.

If you're anywhere near Rockledge and don't stop at Whistle Stop Café, that's a personal mistake…read moreyou'll regret. This place is pure charm from the moment you walk in--warm, welcoming, and exactly the kind of spot that makes you believe small-town gems still exist. There's a reason they were just named Best Restaurant in Rockledge... and honestly, it's about time. Now let's talk about the real stars: the ladies who run this place. Kind doesn't even cover it. Friendly, attentive, genuine--like they actually care that you're there (wild concept, right?). The service alone would have earned five stars. But here's where they went above and beyond: I lost my wallet before heading out on a cruise. Panic mode activated. Turns out, the amazing women at Whistle Stop Café found it and safely kept it for me until I returned. Everything intact. Zero drama. Just pure integrity and kindness. So yes--great food, adorable location, and well-earned local awards. But what really makes Whistle Stop Café special is the heart behind it. This place doesn't just serve meals; it restores your faith in people. Go hungry. Leave happy. And maybe double-check your pockets--but if you don't, you're in the best hands possible.

Stopped in here while visiting the area. I thought the food was OK, nothing special. The coffee wasn't great at all. Overall it was an ok place but didn't stand out as anything special.

Made it back here after several years. Service was attentive and friendly and the menu read…read morebeautifully. Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.
