We are definitely "has to be good 2x in a row people". This made the list. We went in for a nice family dinner. We had Amanda and she was incredible. Attentive without being overbearing and had great energy and personality. Food was delicious and came out with perfect timing! Will recommend to anyone who asks.

Really nice decor and seat yourself so we chose a great spot. Started with home made pork rinds. Hot and fast but no flavor. Suggest seasoning them or serving with a dipping sauce. Jess had BLT and it was average. A bit too salty and she loves salt. Fries were good. I had ribs and they were very average. Slaw was not good. Never got the bbq beans. Overall not the best experience for our first try. Servers were pleasant, though.

Tin Whiskey was a very big upscale southern food restaurant. It has a big outdoor seating area with a bar as well as a huge indoor seating area and indoor bar. We sat in the indoor bar and got some drinks and ordered the Chicken Digits, their version of tenders. The tenders were good, lightly breaded and came with seasoned fries and bbq sauce that was smoky deliciousness. Service was great and did not have to wait a long time, even while it wasn't super busy, it still had quite a few people in there. I do recommend here if you like southern themes and want a quick drink.

Food was awesome, place was legit. Some picky eaters and they were happy. The place is huge.

We ate here a year ago and had great service. This time we didn't even get a chance to eat because they were too rude to even answer a question. The host on the outside deck was completely clueless and had no idea what was happening on his deck. We had two small dogs and had to stay outside. When I asked him if there would be any tables open within 20 minutes or so, he looked at me like a deer in the headlights, and said, "Ummm, I really have no idea." Ok, well friend...YOU are the one person running the outside area, so you should know who's getting ready to finish up. We left and took our hard earned dinero with us. PS...We were AT THE MASSIVE ART SHOW!

Husband and I were playing Pokemon Go and stumbled across this place. I was not hungry, but we shared a fried artichoke appetizer. I just got club soda to drink. He tried an old fashioned. I think he liked it. The fried artichokes were good, but anything fried is alway good! Nothing on the menu really jumped out at me, but I wasn't really looking. Maybe next time I can check out the interior, as we sat outside to enjoy the nice weather.

Our main reason for choosing this Irish pub was the Guinness--we had just returned from Dublin and wanted to compare. The moment we walked in, the ambience was incredibly inviting and instantly transported us back to Dublin. What truly sealed the experience was seeing live TV footage from in front of Temple Bar in Dublin--it completely caught us by surprise and made the experience feel authentic. Now let's talk about the beer. The Guinness tasted just like it does in Dublin, which was honestly shocking in the best way. We found out they take extra care by cleaning their tap lines frequently. In Dublin, because of the volume, lines are cleaned every four days; here they're cleaned weekly--and that attention to detail truly makes a difference. I also tried the Black Velvet, which was perfectly balanced and paired beautifully with my meal. Next, the food. I ordered the smash burger with bacon jam and habanero, and it was absolutely off the charts. So flavorful, incredibly tender, and honestly restored my faith in burgers. I didn't have room for dessert, but I did take some home--the homemade bread pudding. I couldn't resist. I'll be enjoying that later with a cup of tea and will gladly give a follow-up review. Thank you, Hogan's Irish Pub, for taking me right back to Dublin. The service, food, atmosphere--everything was outstanding. You truly have something special here. I only wish I were a local so I could visit more often. As an LA girl visiting this Florida location, I can confidently say I'll be back next time I'm in the area. And when I'm standing in front of Temple Bar in Dublin again, I'll be waving into the cameras--hopefully you'll see me!

Job well done, Vanessa! Dixon Diner in Cocoa, FL, is in a wonky location that the average traveler may miss. Let me tell you, that would be a mistake, as the food is great. But I get ahead of myself. I asked Vanessa for a two-egg breakfast with chopped steak, eggs over medium, hash browns, and the Southern breakfast staple of a biscuit with sausage gravy. The place was pretty barren, as you can see by the pictures; I assume it's the location. As such, my food was out in no time. Look at the pictures. Look at them! If a picture could talk, this one would be saying, "Flavor, flavor, flavor." The chopped steak is made to order and gigantic in size. The seasonings are complex and full of tastiness on the palate. The toast is aptly buttered and blissful with the egg yolk. The line cook nailed the over-medium eggs this morning, as they were perfect. Well done, Sir and/or Madam! It was all I could do to stop eating the chopped steak and eggs as they were that good, but I was here for a job. Looking again at the pictures, you can see how laden with sausage that gravy is. The gravy was outstanding. I would put that up against anyone's Me-maw and let the chips fall where they may. While the gravy was top-notch, the biscuit was not so much. It wasn't bad, just not on par with the rest. The Big Boy says, "This is some great grub at a great price. Highly recommend.

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

Marker 24 is in a residential area and accessible by land, as this restaurant is on a waterfront, and most diners pull up in the little boats. There is indoor and outdoor dining; we saw a few people outdoors but it was chilly when we were there, so we opted for indoor seating. A few stalls for parking across the street, parking stalls divided by little fish painted on the ground, which was a cute touch. Happy hour was spectacular, with buy-one-get-one-free drinks and the food prices were super reasonable to us (coming from Hawaii, where everything is super expensive). My husband ordered a Spicy Mahi Sandwich with Potato Chips (instead of fries, that's how it came) for $20 and I got a roasted mushroom flat-bread pizza for $15.00 and our appetizer was the smoked fish dip for $15.00 which came highly recommended, and we did love it, but when we saw the crackers, we were laughing. We were expecting bread or flatbread, but that's just fine, being a waterfront casual restaurant. Total bill = $70.62 without tip. Everything was delicious, no complaints.
