If you drive too fast on A1A in Cocoa Beach you will miss this gem!! This hometown brewery is just that.. hometown at its finest!! We almost didn't go in because it is in an old house and it literally looked like we were walking into someone's living room until we were so warmly greeted by Katie and Robert!!! This a family run brewery and on this night there were two beers on tap an IPA and a stout. Both were awesome but I prefer the lighter IPA, after sitting at the bar for a few we got into extremely interesting and amusing conversations with Katie and Robert about everything from Disney to Game of Thrones! It was as if he was as if we had been long time friends! They had a nice large table with board and card games a couch and living room atmosphere in another room with a TV with the owners you tube channel playing with drone views of Cocoa Beach!! This place was truly awesome and we can't wait to come back !!

Quaint little brewery, very personal and friendly! Mice outdoor deck with seating and beautiful jasmine blooming. Doesn't get much better - oh wait, what about the beer you ask? We loved it! The day we visited there were two beers on tap: triple 8 IPA and a gallinipper. While I'm normally not a huge IPA fan, I completely enjoyed my beer!

Cocoa Beach Brewing Company is a fairly recent addition to Cocoa Beach - they've been open since mid 2009. They are a true micro brewery. Current brewing system is just 1.5bbl, and that is up from the 1/2bbl they were using previously. When we visited they only had their Pale Ale on tap, the first brew from the new system. Note - this is a brewpub only, they are currently not serving food, though do have assorted snack food and do allow you to order/bring food in from elsewhere. Located just north of 1st street, CBBC is in a building which was originally navy housing. They have a lounge with a big screen and a couple comfy chairs, as well as a 4 tap bar and a small bar type seating area. There were two guest taps on currently, as well as the one house brew. We were served by the owner/brewer/bartender Chris, who was happy to discuss his beers and his plans for the brewery. The beer was wonderfully fresh. It was unfiltered so showed some yeast and chill haze, but it hit the spot. The house pale ale had a fairly traditional pale ale malt profile, but had a bit more hops than strict adherence to the BJCP styles might indicate. But, I believe guidelines should be just that, guidelines, not hard and fast rules. I'm happy to report that Chris seem to agree! Overall I found the beer balanced and tasty. Good stuff here, and I can't wait to see how things grow over time. I will be back when I return to the area! Finding the pub is a bit tough, it isn't quite visible behind the restaurant (Chili Pepper Club) just to the south of them, as you drive north on A1A. Much easier, I found, was to park in the lot behind the brewery, which is accessible via the alley off of 1st street.

Key Lime, not just me (oatmeal stout), Pale Ale, FHP, IPA

I might hurt somebody with this review but I didnt see the 4 1/2 stars on this brewery anywhere. Small little shack in the middle of Cocoa Beach. If it was't for Yelp, I would never find it, from the outside looks more like a bakery that anything else. While visiting Melbourne, Florida I went out on the look out of new breweries since Im a beer drinker, so I been eyeballing this place for quite a while now. My first impression was ok this looks like somebody went and grab a beer brew kit from the store, and brew some beers and call it a nano brew. I sat at the bar and asked for a flight I was also with some relatives, so the bartender mentioned that he only had glasses for one flight. I look at him and look around the place was completely empty so they literally had only glasses for one flight!!! Are you serious? The bartender said we can get half of pints if we want to since my dad and uncle are not really craft beer drinkers so they went for half's. I ordered the only flight that they had and got all their five beers, IPA, Pale Ale, Farmhouse Ale, Oatmeal Stout and their Key Lime apparently a fruit beer. I started with the Key Lime which I believe its their signature it was good very refreshing beers citrusy with pine aromas, right there I got all excited first sample, beer wasn't so bad and I was ready for the rest. Then I tried their FHP the bartender mentioned this beer it's brew with Belgium hops to give it a funk flavor, well they were 100% right it was really funky but not in a good way. Then, I had their oatmeal stout, big big disappointment... it was very light almost watery and flat, for a second I though I was drinking a nitro beer, it was really bad. Then I had their pale ale, nothing crazy and last but not least their IPA regular hops fresh with a hint of fruit it was ok thats about it. The guys been in business five years they must be doing something good I just didn't see it last night. Wish them the best, but I don't think I would go back. If you are staying in the area and don't want to drive the extra mile to their competitors go for it, but you might be driving south to the next brewery later.

Cocoa Beach Brewing is in a super cute old little house just a block away from the beach. They only have like four chairs at the bar but they also have a table, a few other seats (a couch, I think?) and an outdoor patio. The guy helping us was very nice and fun to talk to. They had four or five beers on tap, which they said is a lot for them. My husband tried them all and liked them. I took a sip of the Pale Ale, the Honey Golden Belgian, and the Saison and also thought they were nice. I had a glass of the Key Lime Cerveza and liked it a lot. It was very light and refreshing and had a nice subtle but nice taste of key lime.

The overgrown and rundown outdoor deck has a savings grace. It allows dogs!

Like the reviewer from a month ago, the bar tender cited health issues and could only offer a meager selection of corporate beers.

Thomas S.

Only 2 beers on tap, a October fest and a stout. Beer was decent wish they had more. Nice back porch. The brewery is hard to find. It's off the highway in what looks like someone's home. They managed to make it nice. Gave them 3 stars wish they had more beer.

A successful brewery, in my opinion, has great beer and great food. Service is always welcoming, it's nice and spacious with outdoor and indoor seating to beat the heat. We especially enjoy the games inside, my kids like to play with the Jenga blocks. They have something for everyone, beer, cider and their NA root beer is one of my favs on tap. As for the food, we always get some soft pretzel bites (Annie, are you okay? On their menu) with beer cheese, queso-birria tacos (SO good), chicken tacos and we've also gotten the smash burger. Everything is so flavorful and is consistently good. The location is great and a big parking lot, though it gets crowded during peak hours. They have restrooms inside including a changing table for parents with babes. Def recommend Intracoastal as a place to gather with friends or family, have a cold drink and enjoy some delicious food.

I had the portobello sandwich with fries and it was satisfying after spending the day in the sun and sand, it was one of a few vegetarian options. The price was right at only $12. I wasn't in the mood for beer, so I ordered the hard soda, and am obsessed! It's a dark cola alcoholic beverage so it has a nice flavor. We ordered with the bar staff and they gave us a number for the food order, they also let my friends sample the beers before ordering. The crowd and employees are nice and laid back, chill and family friendly atmosphere all around.

My wife & I were the only patrons there on a late Sunday afternoon and had a great conversation with Raimy as well as her providing us some sample of Dirty Oar's beers. With quite a small selection spread out across a large county, all the breweries have the opportunity to be unique. But for Dirty Oar Beer Company (which I will shorthand to simply the Dirty Oar), they need to be different from their neighbors, Bugnutty Brewing Company. So did Dirty Oar accomplish the aforementioned "challenge?" Well yes and no depending on what it is you are looking for. Located on the north side of Historic Cocoa Village - which is the south side of King St./US-520, Dirty Oar is a large aquamarine blue building heralding a beautiful mural of birds and an octopus. There is a back entrance where their biergarten is located and a front entrance which i will consider their storefront. Parking is a bit tight, but may be accommodating enough as Dirty Oar is not as rambunctious as their neighbors, Bugnutty, are. My friends, Charles the Grey a.k.a. Roadie X and Patrick joined me today as we enjoyed brews and food in their taproom. The area is kind of small compared to other taprooms, but maybe it is because the biergarten is much bigger for overflow accomodation. There are games for people to play, in which my friends enjoyed a game that was kind of like either/or, and it was fun. Not very intelligent, but whatever. This is where things can be a hit or miss. Maybe it is me, but the flight of "milkshake" beers did not impress me at all. If I am going to drink anything "milkshake flavored", I expect to taste said milkshake flavors. They tasted okay for beers, and maybe that is being more lenient as it was not what I was hoping for. Not bad, but definitely not a "milkshake." Food was delicious, but it comes from a food truck parked next to the biergarten. The grilled cheese was good and packed flavor into something simple, but the Frito pie: exquisite. To be fair, anyone that messes up a Frito pie doesn't deserve to cook anything. Overall, Dirty Oar was a-okay for an initial visit. Will I be back here? Of course, especially if I want a more personal time with friends, family, or a date. But will I go out of my way to go here compared to other breweries, probably not. Still, an a-okay establishment that I suggest visiting at least once. On a sidenote, Dirty Oar is one of the breweries that makes up the Launches & Lagers II Tour in Brevard. It is also a location in the Untappd App.

Before I start the review I have a fun fact to share. Before I visited Pateidolia Brewing in Vero…read moreBeach Florida, I looked at some pictures and read some reviews. I don't usually read the reviews for breweries because I want to give an honest review based on my experience. But what drew me in is all the pictures of the draft board seemed out of focus and weirdly lit. I chalked that up to maybe not cleaning off the camera lense before taking the pictures, but what I found was quite the opposite. When I took my picure I also couldn't get a good shot. A little blurry and maybe slightly out if focus. And what I found is the place is fairly dark inside until your eyes get acclaimatted. And the way they have the menu board lit, there is a glare which makes all the photos of the beer menu board come out weird. I took multiple photos and finally settle on the best one, but it also wasn't great. So onto the review. It is small inside and has outiside seating. But what they lack in size, they make up in personality. Pareidolia is a little brewery with a big personality to match the name. Got to connect with the beertenders on duty Les and Kelly. Sorry guys if I misspelled your names, but you guys were awesome. I kept calling them Mel and Stacy, no reason why, but I did finally learn their names about the same time as I really started loving their wonderful beer. And another fun fact is their brewer is a lady. I am very partial to women who brew beer, because I feel like they do something a little extra that men don't. But that is a feeling or my own personal bias. So there is that. They have food here, but the food seemed more like an afterthought or a remnant of Covid where you had to have food at your brewery just to survive. We tried the Hawaiian flat bread. It was closer to frozen pizza with some extra toppings. But didn't come here to eat, and the beer was so great it over ruled any issues I might have had with the food. The BEER: 32956 Zip Code Hazt IPA 6.7% ABV... this has layers and they are all delicious Citra Surfer Hazy IPA 6.5% ABV... I really like this... clean and awesome Half Buzzed Hybrid Session IPA 5% ABV... Light, smooth, a touch of pineapple, and dangerously easy to drink. After that I grabbed an Unruly Amber Ale. That one hit me with toasted malt, a little caramel, and enough bite to wake up my taste buds. Solid beer. No notes. For food I went with the Smokey Black Bean panini and wow it surprised me. Smokey, a little spicy, and packed with flavor. The chipotle ranch ties the whole thing together. Plus they give you hummus and chips on the side, so you feel like you're snacking and eating a whole meal at the same time. Win. The vibe here is great. Indoor seating, outdoor seating, people just chilling, dogs hanging out, locals talking like everyone knows everyone. Super easy to relax here. Overall, Pareidolia just gets it. Good beer, good food, friendly service, and a vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer than you planned. Definitely coming back.

If you like key lime pie, stop what you're doing and order the Key Lime Pie Ale. It is hands down…read morethe best one I've ever had. The Cool Whip rim sounds a little over-the-top until you try it... then you realize it's actually genius. It's one of those drinks you keep thinking about long after you leave. We've been here several times now, and it's been consistently great every visit. The food deserves some love too. The Caesar salad is surprisingly one of my favorites (who gets excited about a Caesar salad?) and the sweet potato fries are dangerously good. We also tried trivia one night. Either their trivia host has a PhD in random facts, or my husband and I need to spend less time watching reality TV. We had fun anyway, even if we contributed approximately three correct answers to our team's score. Great beer, great food, and a fun atmosphere. But, it is definitely set up as a restaurant now trying to operate like a BIG brewery. Menu definitely has some changes, a lot actually. Not many signature cocktails, the witches brew which was one of a very limited list at a full liquor bar was kind of odd. Not much rum, the caramel rim was nice but that's about it. The most notable change is that there are no longer "servers". You have to order everything at the bar, and I can definitely see how this may be economically appropriate for a less busy day, but given a Wednesday at 5:30, it started to get pretty busy. I waited at the counter for a bit to order something else for my son and the one person at the counter was taking another order so after some time I digressed. The soup flight was, okay, very over salted, the sour cream in one coagulated at some point. The burger tasted like a pre bought ground chuck burger, it was not good. Staff is still very friendly but seems to be currently scarce. Most big breweries that operate at a kiosk or order to sit are not situated like this, have large open spaces, not dining spaces so I really don't know the business ops of what's going on but it def didn't flow smoothly for us.

My husband came across this establishment while on a work trip and hasn't stopped raving about it…read moreever since. The man literally bought two of their T-shirts, so you know he was impressed! Fast-forward to our staycation weekend. We decided to stay at a local hotel, and this was our first stop on Friday night. We ordered a few beers and cocktails along with some chicken wings. They had a seasonal Pumpkin Habanero beer, and let me tell you, it definitely had a kick! Pumpkin with a little spice is absolutely my jam, so I was all for it. The chicken wings were also pretty tasty, although, for the life of me, I cannot remember which flavor we ordered! We sat at the bar, which is pretty large and offers a great view of everything happening around the establishment. There was a band playing outside on the covered patio, and everyone looked like they were having an absolute blast. The atmosphere was fantastic! One disappointment was that they were out of their blueberry beer. We love blueberry beer, so this was a bummer, especially since they still hadn't restocked it when we returned two days later. Hopefully, we'll get to try it on our next visit! They also had a seasonal Halloween cocktail menu, but Friday night was extremely busy with the live music, so they weren't able to accommodate making those specialty drinks. We returned Sunday around noon, this time sitting outside with our dog, and I finally got to order one of the Halloween margarita cocktails. It was pretty good! Although, if I'm being honest, I think I was just as intrigued by the festive presentation and the little trinkets that come with some of these drinks. Unfortunately, mine didn't come with any, and they weren't able to add one. On the other hand, when I ordered a tequila drink late Friday night, the staff added a little skeleton to it, which was such a fun touch! It's those little details that make the experience memorable. Overall, the service was awesome, the food was delicious, and the cocktails were on point. Between the seasonal beers, creative cocktails, live music, and lively atmosphere, there's a lot to love here. We can definitely see why my husband was raving about this place! Highly recommend checking it out. Just don't forget to ask about the seasonal beers before they're gone!
