It was good, but not my favorite, especially since I've had lobster rolls in Connecticut. The addition of lettuce was unexpected for a Connecticut style roll, and I wasn't a fan of the extra crunch it added. It also didn't come with drawn butter, which I've always considered a staple of this style of sandwich. Instead, it was an additional $0.50. At $33 for the sandwich, I expected the butter to be included. That said, the lobster itself was fresh, and the sandwich was still enjoyable, just not exactly what I was anticipating. Everything arrived fresh and hot. The service was outstanding. Our server, Courtney, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.
