He was well versed in the menu, checked to make sure we were doing okay, and was overall very respectful! The food was delicious!! The Coconut Shrimp app was amazing. The pineapple rum sauce was new to us and so divine. We shared the Florida Fresh Salad with salmon (picture is of it split). The portions were generous and the flavors were so well balanced. I especially loved the nuts and that the salmon was grilled over an open fire. A fresh and delicious bite. We went during late afternoon/early evening and there was fun music kept at a very reasonable volume. The place is very well kept and the lighting is very comfortable. We for sure will be back next time we're in the Cocoa Beach area! Must visit!

My husband and I both had the Golden Corvina, I had it with lemon butter and he had it with jalapeño bacon cream sauce. OHHH. EMMM. GEEEE. It was cooked to perfection and both were fantastic and great flavor. Costa was our server, he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food and resturant in general; and rightfully so! As a customer with Celiac, they have a very extensive menu for gluten free patrons. They are extremely knowledgeable and take it serious for any allergen. We are here in Cocoa Beach for 2 more nights, we will definitely be back BOTH NIGHTS!!

Ordered the fried Conch and Connecticut Lobster Roll with Fries. Food came out pretty quick. Conch was tasty and I really liked the fries (Burger King style). Would've liked a bit more butter on the roll but tasted spectacular! Waiter came by with a live lobster and son got to hold it up for some photos. Would definitely swing by again if out that way!

Must be a family run and owned business. - Place was clean and parking was full. - Claim chowder soup had good flavor and full of claims. Totally worth it. - Connecticut Lobster roll lacked seasoning. Though the lobster was moist and fresh (had some shell in the roll) the punch of flavor was missing. - Calamari did not have the standard crunch one might expect, but the combination of citrus and savory blended well together. Unfortunately either a fish bone or calamari cartilage stuck into my wife inside cheek. Not a pleasant experience. Manager did remove the Calamari from our bill. Pleasant surprise. - Caesar salad was bland. Adding some fresh lemon helped it taste better. - Overall 5.2 out of 10. (Based on experience, food taste/flavor and price point

Sauces were off the chart delicious. - Ricotta toast: insanely thick and fluffy perfect pieces of bread topped with dollops of whipped ricotta and chili crisp. Crunchy, smooth, and a bit of spice. The appetizer I didn't know I needed in my life. 5 stars - Shrimp cocktail: probably the best I've had. 5 humongous shrimp perfectly cooked and chilled. Served with a Thai peanut satay sauce that was delectable. Didn't envision this combo and it worked so well. 5 stars - Lamp chips: 3 nice pieces my husband and friend enjoyed. 4.5 stars - Miso cod: solid version marinated as expected with 2 pieces plus bok choy. 4.5 stars - Umami fries: large plate of perfectly crispy curly fries with Japanese spices on top. 4 stars - Mozzarella sticks: long rectangles covered in a panko potato mix. Crunchy and gooey. Paired with ranch and guachong sauce. 4 stars - Artichokes: 3 large lightly fried pieces which looked like chicken wings. Could've been sliced into smaller bites. 3.75 stars - Dining room: modern bougie vibe. Long bar across the length of the restaurant with a few higher tables of in back (shaped like elongated guitar picks) and a banquettes. A living wall ceiling and artsy wooden touches. Midlights - Flank steak: large slices with not too much flavor. Most unremarkable item we had. 3 stars - Water service: need bigger glasses or for them to leave a carafe on the tables as they didn't come by to refill often enough. Being in a tropical location, hydration is important. - Drinks: cocktails sounded fancy but were just ok. Even their version of a smoked old fashion was lacking in the smoke reveal. Wine was also just ok - Waiter kept on calling us sir and ma'am making us feel old and bit uncomfortable Lowlights - Out of few things. their sole bakery item dessert in a brownie I was excited about and 2 out of 7 glasses of red wines

In fact, I regret ordering my premium crab meal with seasoning. I enjoy spicy food, but this just didn't deliver. The service, unfortunately, was disappointing. It may be due to being understaffed. However, I didn't like having to pay before being served, you have to pay, tip and order on a machine before getting serviced. if I hadn't, I wouldn't have tipped based on the service I received, it really was a 1-star experience. We got served before our drinks. And I never saw the waitress again. I had to flag down another employee who was cleaning tables to get us our paid drinks. One of my premium sides was missing, they were so busy I didn't even bother trying to track it down, I already had to pull teeth getting drinks. so I paid for something I never received. After spending over $250 plus, there wasn't even a simple thank you or thanks for coming at the end. Some customers enthusiastically got it, but we didn't. They saw us leave with no care. Overall, I won't be returning. When people go on vacation, we want to feel good, ya know?

The starters we chose were delicious! Shared Mexican Street Corn Deviled Egg, Cornbread was amazing along with the the Crab appetizer which was delicious!! For dinner my husband had the Duck. He LOVED it! Had fresh blackberries with a Pomegranate glaze and duck confit hash. I had the Corvina fish. It featured a pineapple salsa along with Mofongo. Amazing. Such a delicious dish. My grandson got the Dirty rice with shrimp and scallops. So good! Absolutely delicious! We finished with delectable desserts which we shared - Key lime pie, Chocolate Pave - so luxurious, and Lemon Blueberry Crumb Cake. What a special night we had. Big Thank you to everyone at THE FAT SNOOK.

Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.
