Been coming here for a little bit and seemed cool at first but couldn't help notice some of the strange behavior i was around when i was there. First off im not trying to mean but the manager there definitely seemed to be on some kind of uppers and i witnessed him being very rude to one of his employees in front of all the customers. It was very awkward for me considering this is supposed to be a "good vibe" atmosphere. The overall atmosphere is one full of smack talking, and not just from the customers but the people behind the bar and seemed to especially egged on from the manager himself. This makes me uncomfortable, the last place i expected this to be was here at a kava bar. Kava bars are supposed to bring people together not divide them. Another weird thing is i came in recently and they started selling nasty frozen gas station food that you have to heat up in a microwave. This really confused me considering this is supposed to be a "healthy" place. So now if i go there i get to smell disgusting food and listen to the unforgiving hum of a microwave. The last and final straw for me was coming in a few days ago and witnessing a customer fill up about 5 growlers of kratom and drank a whole one right in front of me, instead of the bar tender telling them to slow down and that might be drinking too much, they actually encouraged them to drink more and they laughed about how they both obviously had a serious addiction to the stuff like it was no big deal. Oh and one last thing, the last day i was there they were jamming out to horribly degrading trap music with no concern for the little kids there or the sheer discomfort of there customers, this is a kava bar people want to chill out to some mellow music, not listen to obnoxious hi hats and violent words from an elementary belligerent rapper. Bottom line, manager is strung out and rude, the drinks are meh,musics horrible, food is toxic, and there is an overall lack of knowledge for what they sell. I wish i could say better things about this place but it feels its gone down hill and turned into this weird uncomfortable place that no age group would feel welcomed but teenagers. Place needs some big changes. read more

This place saved my life. I quit drinking alcohol over two years ago and at the urging of friends, went and tried kava and their "magic tea" (ask them about the botanical teas and they will tell you all about it). While I truly enjoy both, the community is what has helped me the most. There are so many incredible people in this place. The regulars make you feel like family. Their coffee is also exceptional. If you are looking for a loungy vibe without the booze, get there. They also do beach cleanups every Sunday which is super cool. read more

They're incredibly knowledgeable about the products they serve and they go above and beyond to make the whole experience fun and exciting. A must try! I had never been to a kava bar and wasn't sure what to expect but Crystal (Kristin?) made me and my daughter feel right at home. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. So I went back a few days later and was initially disappointed that she wasn't working but Anthony was just as good! My family and I are visiting from Ohio and I was looking for a just a good ol coffee cafe and I came across this place. It is seriously a wonderful place! The people are chill, the atmosphere is perfest, and the experience was great! We tried the kava for the first time and it was amazing!
