I pushed the button and all of a sudden the unassuming bookcase opened, revealing a pathway to the open area representing the Cloud Parlor ( I felt like I was in an episode of "Get Smart", ha! - For those of you old enough to remember.). Just walk through for a memorable event. "Les" was working the bar, and was friendly and very efficient. He took my order and in no time flat I was enjoying an excellent coffee called the "Dalgona". This is A Korean whipped coffee drink made by whipping together double shots of espresso and sweet cream and adding to the top of vanilla sweetened milk. It was delicious!! Coffee options include Espresso & Lattes, Specialty Lattes, Craft Brewed Coffee - including French Press, Pour Overs, and Frappes. There are several Tea options as well including matcha, green, chai, Yerba Mate, and Black (to name a few). This is a really cool place with exceptional drinks! Let me just say -- this place is everything that's right in the world! From the 'secret' entrance to the décor, the ambiance, the service, and the food -- every single detail is top-notch. I really wanted to like this place! We came by around lunch and there were only a few other patrons inside. It is speakeasy style, which is super fun and cute especially for Cocoa Beach. The interior is gorg, with big comfy chairs and couches and dark wood furnishings. We ordered on their tablet, however you couldn't see descriptions or images for any of the menu items. I went out on a limb and chose the breakfast burrito, not knowing what came in it, and it was definitely the wrong move. It had like a sweet-ish jelly in it? Wouldn't get it again. The slides were better than the sandwich, but they were super small and underwhelming. The coffee should definitely be passed on. Parking is easy in front in a little lot. This place is beyond cool! With a unique speakeasy vibe, you enter the front door off the street and need to hit the special button to reveal the bar entry. Inside it's dark and completely in character. I ordered an iced coffee which was delicious. Staff was friendly and eagerly answered our questions about the bar. There was a stage set up for live music. Our server indicated there was live music and comedians depending on the day/night. Lots of indoor seating for you to enjoy the ambiance. I'm so confused as to who this cafe is for. They only serve wine and beer because (in their words) they are "family friendly". Yet when a patron came in with his young son and asked what the bartender could make for the kid and he said he could pretty much only do a hot chocolate. The coffee is ALL double shot espresso--and it tastes like injecting espresso in your veins. Only one decaf option, but it still tasted like a straight shot of espresso. And to top it all off they don't serve food AT ALL except on Sundays during brunch. The atmosphere is great, and the door opening is awesome, but it just doesn't work for bar seekers, families, coffee lovers, or anyone who likes cafe's but not coffee, or needs decaf. read more

We chose to visit the Speakeasy after reading the reviews on Yelp. I would give this place a 3.5 stars. We came here after dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant on the other end of the strip mall. This coffee shop/bar relies heavily on the shtick of the speakeasy fake storefront to gain attention and foot traffic, and it works. Walking into an "office" and pushing a big button to reveal a bar/coffeehouse is fun. But after that, this place needs some help. No one welcomes you. There is a tablet that says order here - so we did. Then, you are left to your own devices to grab a table. And I will say they need to do a better job cleaning the tables and sprucing up the place. Once you get past the fun vibes of the speakeasy concept, the rest of the bar experience was a little meh. And the clientele had some regulars who were very comfortable using the establishment. Maybe too comfortable. They had stuff spread out everywhere. And people kept running in and out. And mind you after we grabbed our seat we still weren't greeted by anyone. After we moved tables from a very interesting patron, we were finally greeted. That bartender seemed nice and let us know our order was on its way. I asked about the board games available and he directed me to a little room nearby. I did pop in but the room was just disorganized and the games looked like they had seen better days. I thnk with some easy tweaks on cleanliness/organization and just saying hi could easily be a 5 star establishment. The earl grey latte I had was so so good and if I was in the area again, I would go back for that. But I think I would go during the day to experience more coffee house vibes then local bar hangout atmosphere. read more

This is Space Coast's hidden gem! From the outer appearance, to the hidden doorway, and into the actual speakeasy, it was such a fun experience - AND THAT'S JUST WALKING INTO THE PLACE! We chatted with the owner, who shared with us his very interesting story of what inspired him to start his business. I really appreciate how he sells goods from small businesses. That's a neighbor taking care of neighbors - a concept rarely heard of nowadays. The food was outstanding, and the overall environment was intimate and intriguing; the art and furnishings emphasized vintage decor harking back to the Roaring Twenties. Tables were equipped with built-in phone chargers, ordering through your phone was simple and fast, and there is even another room decorated with some Nerd Culture artifacts (Star Wars, Mario...). I need to donate some items here. The experience was outstanding. Lots of fun. We went on a Sunday, so we were the only couple there for quite some time. We'll have to return on Comedy Night or Open-Mic Night to get the full experience. read more

This place was one of my highlights for this visit to the Space Coast, and I saw a NASA/SPACEX Lunch while I was here, so I mean, this experience was up there! So for those of you who are wondering if all of the five star reviews are legit...I AM DR QUENTON BONDS AND I APPROVE THOSE MESSAGES! I stumbled onto this place, trying to find a boutique coffee shop where I could just get a good espresso before going to my training and Cloud Parlor DELIVERED, in every since I word. I was immediately impressed by the hidden door (see my video) they have brought a real Speakeasy to the Space Coast. I live in DC, and still, the last time I seen one of these was years ago in downtown San Francisco. The ambience was just what I was looking for - see my photos I usually have a light breakfast, but I had to try this menu, and again cloud parlor delivered; the waffles and beef bacon were excellent. I also had a macchiato and a coffee was top shelf. I kept seeing people coming in looking like they were ordering tea early in the morning like it was beer, so I asked the owner what were they ordering? He went on to explain about Kava and Kratem, the history and uses. I had to try them. I ordered the Kava and it was an experience. The upped dopamine was just what I needed, to go into these meetings that I really didn't feel like going to.-LOL- joke. So I took it to go after hearing about it's a effects, and it made these meetings so much better. But I tried to Kratem -Elixor first, this was the thing that everyone was getting that look like tea. They had three flavors that did three different things. I try the one that helps you to focus and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed both of them so much that I had the owner put me some in some to go bottles that I could take back to DC. If you know me, you know I love small business owners, and hearing their stories. Les has a very interesting one here - he wanted a place everyone could go to. I will let him tell you his story, but I could relate to growing up in an environment where negativity was knocking at your door And not having a place to go. He says that he wanted a place that everyone felt welcome, hence his offerings of beverages that are alternatives to alcohol and maybe even drugs for some people - I love this. As we were chatting, he told me about open mic night Which serendipitously was happening that night. I am also a Spoken Word Poet, so I had to fall up in there! Most of the artists were rock stars lol but I really enjoy the vibe the ambience, the people and the experience. Myself and another poet did our thing and we're well received. When I travel, I rarely go to the same place twice and I pretty much went here every day, after finding out about it. I've been all over the world and that never happens, I always want to try something new, but I really enjoy this place because it has something new to offer on different days and they have so many drinks that you can try something new and exotic every time you come. The tea collection is massive and spans cultures from all around the world and yes for those of you that don't like to venture out too much he has the traditional coffee, tea, beer and wine. You know the boring stuff if that's what you're into? I even stopped by one last time before going to the airport. There was not that many people in the restaurant, and I was able to hear less's (story/testimony)... But I will let you hear that directly from him, I'm sure he'll tell you, just ask!!! read more

Their obsession with automation - using screen ordering instead of telling the counter staff - was a pitb & a little obnoxious. If you are a regular I can see that you'd get used to it. Whoever bakes their muffins, they are great. It would have been better if they put the butter on instead of giving me the snaptub of butter & package of plasticware. My husband and I visited Cloud Parlor for a comedy show. We were delighted by our overall experience. The atmosphere was unique and inviting. The staff was incredible and service was fast. We were surprised by their extensive menu-we only tried the pizza and it was delicious. I am not a huge fan of the flavor of kava but I couldn't even taste it in their deliciously crafted drinks. This was by far one of my favorites experiences from our trip to Cocoa Beach. The owner Leslie was absolutely amazing. I knew I had to check this place out before I left town and I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed this spot, but I was on the go. I hope to come back again. I love how they serve coffee in the morning and it's a speakeasy bar at night. From their social media, it looks like they have stand up comedy nights too. The space - I was just in awe of it all. The entrance with a push of a button, opens you to a whole new space with teal velvet chairs that transport you to a possible jazz bar vibe. There's a wall of books towards the back of the bar. There's a back room with video games and other entertainments. The bathroom is even artful! This is such a well thought out space. I got a peppermint mocha to go as I had to hit the road and it was delicious. The owner and staff were very nice and attentive in answering my questions. I have yet to try Kava, which they serve here. If only this place wasn't the opposite side of the country for me, I would come here very often! read more

Stopped here as our one of our last spots to eat before driving back home, we made a reservation for a Monday brunch. When you first walk in, you call the number that's posted on a sign to let them open the door for you that reveals a large dining room with plush furniture and gorgeous colors on the walls. They do have a stage for live music (I'm assuming when they can schedule), and a large well manicured bar. They do have a screen for ordering, however the man behind the bar who revealed himself later on to be the owner took us to a table instead. He was incredibly personable, taking the time to learn our names, and explained how to order in great detail and answered any questions we had about their (surprisingly extensive) loose leaf tea selections or other items we wanted. We ordered the honey lavender latte with an additional matcha shot (8/10, I don't like honey in my coffee drinks normally but it was really well balanced and not too floral), the dalgona latte (10/10 if you like creamy and milky drinks that err on the not too sweet side), and the hojicha matcha with oat milk (10/10 CANNOT recommend it enough, it was also the perfect temperature). One person in our party has a gluten intolerance, and the owner took great care in making sure there was no cross contamination and explained his process to make sure of that, which she really appreciated as that can be difficult sometimes. We got one gluten free breakfast sandwich (9/10, avocado was a nice touch and the cheese was perfectly melted), the waffle breakfast sandwich (10/10, I say this in the best way but the waffles gave the hotel free breakfast waffle vibe, and it just made the sandwich better. The bacon was perfectly cooked, and it was HOT and fresh), and the spicy breakfast burrito (9/10, the flavor was amazing and was stuffed pretty well. Only note is it could've been spicier but that's just my taste). We also ordered loose leaf tea, which was honestly a treat because he spent a good amount of time going over the different blends, which ones had more complex flavor profiles, and even bringing out small smelling samples of the blends he had on stock. It was a really lovely experience and just added to the charm of the place. We were the only people in the restaurant for most of our stay, so I really hope they do get more foot traffic in for their sake. I can't recommend this place enough if you're in the area, even if you're in for a drink! read more

We had a variety of beverages (Cuban coffee, black coffee - which afforded several options including pour overs and French press, Carmel Macchiato and Kombucha) and food (Stroopwaffle, Avocado Toast - one regular and one with chopped bacon, eggs and pickled onions). SO glad it was our first experience because I can't imagine all kava bars are this fantastic. First of all, it's a total speakeasy vibe when you enter. The interior is really classy/bougie and beautifully decorated. The bartenders are so friendly and helpful. We had lots of questions and they provided all kinds of education. We tried plain kava (pretty potent, certainly not a "delicious" beverage), a pina colada style kava drink, and the green kratom brew (which tastes much better than kava in my opinion).
