Loved finding this little hipster seeming independent coffee shop! The person who took our order was wearing a shirt that said "Death Before Decaf" and the whole place has a bit of a rocker vibe. We got our bevvies super fast on a busy Saturday morning. The coffee my partner ordered "had a rich darkness without too much acidity." This was our very last stop before driving back home from vacation, and I'm beginning to count down the days before I can come back again and try more of their things (including the popsicles!! They looked so good) . This coffee shop is a cute, cozy, and definitely bustling establishment that really feels like a community watering hole in the best way. Their banana bread matcha was absolutely delicious (and the homemade banana milk is perfect for someone lactose intolerant like myself), and their dragonade refresher was sweet but incredibly tasty and perfect for the hot weather. The cashier was sweet and they were fast and efficient, as well as the folks making the drinks. I immediately bought a bag of beans from them as well, and I can't wait to try them later on. Be right back, going to drive 30 minutes a day to get coffee here! Not really, but I am so glad I finally tried their coffee. I ordered a double espresso and then also a ginger bread iced latte. So delicious. The espresso was smooth and didn't have that burnt flavor like some coffee shops, and the latte was just perfect on the sweetness (not too sweet), the barista said the flavoring is made in house *of course*. I bought my 2 year old a fresh watermelon popsicle because win win, something for both of us. I love the eclectic hipster vibe inside. This is a great little coffee shop that I always inevitably end up at if I'm ever in Cocoa. It's got a great hippie vibe. Comfy seats/sofa's in various areas, and local artists works on the walls. Coffee is really good. I always ask for the latte with oat milk and add honey sweetner. Either hot or cold its great. The oatmilk gives it a delightful nutty flavor and the honey flavoring only enhances it. They have all kinds of drinks including seasonal specialties. Their popsicles are really unique, very different from what you'd get at a store; great on a hot day. read more

Usually love this place and make it a point to come here pretty much every day when we come for vacation but on 4/16/25 we rushed here on a 15 minute bike ride and made it a few minutes before close. The open sign was up in the door but when we went inside, they wouldn't serve us coffee, saying they were about to close. If it's within your business hours, you should serve your customers. If for some reason you need to shut stuff down before closing, make that time your closing time, or at least post a notice saying how soon before close you won't be serving. Very disappointing service from an establishment that is usually outstanding. I'm hoping this has more to do with the individual employee than the business itself. read more

We moved to Cocoa a few months ago from Orlando. I was missing this factor so much in a Cocoa and then we came across our very own local, trendy, non-chain coffee shop. This shop is different in its own little way because they also specialize in popsicles!! They have all different types of coffee and a huge array of popsicles even including boozy ones! Something for mommy and baby. The decor is very trendy and comfy. There's lots of seating. Great for small gatherings or college students working on school. They also have a back room catering towards children. My son loves the books. Everyone who works here is very friendly and I like the community comradery with the local art and jewelry for sale. My FAVORITE coffee! You cannot go wrong with any of River Roads custom drinks, I love the iced Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Orange Dream and Honey Bee... just to name a few. Each drink is handcrafted with their homemade syrups and perfectly made by one of their skilled and friendly baristas! My kids are also a huge fan of the homemade daily popsicles! I went to River Road for the first time this morning and I loved it! It wasn't that busy so there was a lot of seating and I loved the vibe inside. I ordered an iced matcha latte and an acai bowl popsicle and loved both! The iced matcha latte wasn't too sweet and the popsicle literally tasted like an acai bowl. They play great music and everyone who works there is very friendly. The next time I'm up in Cocoa I will definitely be visiting! My Betty White iced latte hit the spot for me, the kids enjoyed their popsicles and with a punch card rewards system, we will def be back to get our free popsicle. I just arrived but so far I'm really digging the vibes. When you walk in the front door, you're greeted by cool decor, and a comfy vintage vibe. There's a variety of tables and couches to do work at, or to sit and chat with friends while enjoying some coffee. As you can tell by the name, River Road offers coffee and popsicles (I'm noticing a good selection of vegan and sugar free options). They also have a small bakery selection to choose from. I ordered an iced oat milk latte with lavender syrup (thank the lord) and a blueberry scone. My partner ordered a hot mocha. Both drinks were served in glass, reusable cups (yay sustainability!). I really like this touch, because I always feel so guilty throwing away more paper/plastic or praying that the plastic will be able to be fully recycled. My lavender oat milk latte is soo yummy. I honestly wish it was a bigger size so I could enjoy it longer. All the employees are wearing masks. There was ample parking in front of the shop and in the back, so you don't have to worry about looking for a spot. The wifi is complementary. They are also selling some trendy merch and prints from local artists. We're here on a weekday morning, so there aren't too many people, which makes social distancing a breeze. In my opinion, a wonderful little gem to socially distance, get some work done, and enjoy some great craft coffee options. read more
