I saw their truck at an art fair and had no idea what this would be like, but I just had to check it out because of how interesting it looked. It's a massive bus with rooftop seating! That's not common! You can go to the top and lounge around while you enjoy ice cream, or take it to go. Super cool! Now for their flavor they have done something truly amazing and unique. I ordered the dulce de leche with graham crackers (amazing recommendation on their end). It's such a good unusual combination. But that wasn't the only surprisingly cool part. The treaties of the ice cream was something I've never had before, and I've made ice cream, so I know the texture quite well. It was almost a chewy rice pudding texture that was absolutely smooth and creamy at the same time. It had a bit of spring to it which I tried to capture in photos. But this texture also made it seem slightly melt-restaurant too! Yes, it did melt a bit as time went on (I was really savoring it) but it didn't melt nearly as fast as most ice creams do. Truly interesting and unique experience all around. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

After a sunny day at the beach, our group of eight walked to this shop and decided on buying a whole pie for $18 instead of two slices at $5 a pop. Certainly the better deal, but we also didn't want to regret later for not ordering enough. Well, it was a very good decision. We devoured the whole pie in one sitting like a bunch of starving hyenas seeing food for the first time in weeks. There was not a crumb left by the time we finished. The pie was as great as they say, and definitely one of the best I ever had. Just the right amount sour and tartness without being overly sweet. If I were to nitpick, then I would like a slightly thicker graham cracker crust. Not sure when I'll come back to Cape Canaveral again. However, if I do, this may have become stop number one on my list. You can find beaches everywhere, but an excellent key lime pies is a treasure you rarely discover.

The word "ice cream" caught my eye, and even if it was late February, the weather was warm, which is strange, given a week prior to our arrival, it was freezing cold, so ice cream it was. There was a little line in the store, with only one man scooping ice cream for a bunch of people waiting (who was also the cashier). It was funny to see how people would copy each other with choosing the flavor; the lady in front said "sweet cream" flavor, and each successive person behind her said the same thing, even if they were not with her. I stuck to my guns and got the Key Lime Pie Ice cream, which was a great choice! Sweet, creamy and tangy, all the right combo! They also have candies, salt water taffies of all flavors, beer, alligator jerky, Tortuga rum cakes, key lime pies, a huge wall of hot sauces, and gifts. I ended up walking out with a bottle of hot sauce and orange blossom perfume roller ball, which was very nice. Prices were reasonable given this is tourist-town.

With its fun tiki-hut vibe, it's the perfect stop when you're looking for a cool treat on a hot Florida day. The star of the show is definitely the snow cones. They offer a huge variety of flavors, and the ice is freshly shaved, which gives it that light, fluffy texture that makes a great snow cone. The flavors were delicious, and it's easy to see why this place is a local favorite. We also tried the Old Bay fries. Unfortunately, they didn't quite live up to the snow cones. They seemed more like air-fried fries, and we were handed the seasoning to apply ourselves rather than having the fries seasoned and prepared when served. It wasn't necessarily bad, just not what I was expecting. That said, the snow cones alone are worth the visit. If you're craving something cold and refreshing, Snow Hut is definitely a spot I'd recommend.
