Decided to check this place out on National Icecream Day. This place is so cute and clean and the guys behind the counter were amazing. Service with smile. I had coconut almond small in a cup and hubby had same size in Chocolate Fudge Brownie. The freshness is the Icecream was amazing. Amish made in Sarasota. They also made some shakes that look like a work of art and they make their own waffle cones which smelled delish. Check them out. We will be back. This cute little ice cream shop has awesome combos you can do. For $15, you can get a massive extreme milkshake to share between a couple people. For the fourth, we got their red white and blue one and it tasted like smores, and came with a lit sparkler! There are also mini extreme milkshakes that a single person can definitely crush. Ice cream quality is okay...but the ordering policies are a massive SCAM. Let me explain. They have tons of flavors, so naturally many customers will think "hmm, I'd like more than one flavor in my cup." However, they will refuse to put more than one flavor into their small cup! They force you to order a medium, which is two dollars more ($7). At first this appears reasonable. After all, one surmises, maybe there isn't enough room in a small cup for two flavors. Maybe it would be difficult for the employees to get two flavors in there. So you order the medium, at which point you realize they were BSing you all along. Each "scoop" in the medium is approximately the size of a softball. Which means they EASILY could have fit two flavors into the one-scoop small. Literally the only reason to have this policy is to extort 2 extra dollars out of people for no good reason. This is a case of a delusional business which believes it is "winning" against the customer by collecting the $2 dollar "different flavors tax" on the spot. However, it's really just getting all of us to quietly decide we aren't ever coming back. read more

We pass a few ice cream places near where we live to come all the way to the hut. Here lately I don't know what the deal is. So we tried again today and have decided to look for another place. We came by and there was no line, which we thought was lucky. The sun was bright and we could not see the light up menu and asked if he had a menu. Nope, no menu. He told us that he told the owner several times about this but they do nothing. Oh? Okay.. so we looked on yelp for picture of the menu. I place my order and they don't have the ingredients, so I pick something else without a problem, but i ordered a kid size which I guess was not cool. Then we tried to order a couple of other things and those ingredients were not available. Which was blamed on the owner too. We were the only people there and waited quite a bit for two things. One was a shake. The banana shake was very watery and more like a liquified banana drink thank a shake. My ice cream THANK GOODNESS I ordered a small one was slapped together and then covered with whipped topping. Barry any ice cream and about 1/4 of it was sprinkles. It was supposed to be Froot Loops but they were not Froot Loops they were some off brand. I added pictures because the ice cream was barely there and the Froot Loops were okay but the over abundance of sprinkles made this not good. $7 for sprinkles and some melty soft serve. Ice cream is good, prices are okay. The decadent ice creams were $10 which is cheap in comparison to an ice-cream you'd see like this in Orlando. The one we ordered didn't exactly look like the picture but it was a pretty good effort. The candy pieces that were stuck around the cup didn't taste great but overall the kids loved it. Really disappointed in their carelessness during COVID. Was super excited for their Viera location to open. Walked inside to find that none of the employees were wearing masks. I asked them to please put on a mask while scooping my ice cream but they said no. They told me their owners don't make them wear masks and they don't have any masks in the store. And they weren't even very kind or sensitive to their customer's needs when saying this. I loved the Ice Cream Hut in Rockledge and I always prefer to support small business, but not when that local business won't support the health and safety of their community. Unfortunately, we won't be returning during the pandemic and I'm unsure if I want to support them even after, considering how they're handling the current situation. We had a place to sit and plenty of napkins and the bathrooms were clean Negatives: on a busy day/night there would not be enough seating or clean areas (this is a messy dessert you can't eat it while standing up and you can't take it in the car) Best bet is to come on a weekday and you will have a great experience .
