    Bone-In Ribeye* is Delicious
    Dan B.

Great steaks and ShinerBock on draft! Pinch me, I think I've died and gone to heaven, ha! This was truly a winning combination! My bone-in ribeye was cooked perfectly, medium. It was tender, juicy, and delicious. I ordered a cup of their Texas Red Chili as a side. It was hot and hot! Very good! My Shiner Bock was ice cold, served in a frosted mug, and refreshing. Our server was polite, efficient, and friendly. There's booth seating throughout, along with booth seating in the bar area. Prices are very competitive especially compared to higher end steak houses. I will definitely return and highly recommend you check them out!

My wife and I wanted to hit this spot because it's been a minute. We were sat immediately and served with their famous rolls and cinnamon butter. I was not impressed with their rolls. I think it's because of my picky palate. Although my wife loved them, but I have made lots of breads and most importantly eaten lots. It was good, but I felt that it was missing the "love". Anyway, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye and she ordered the chicken critters. The critters were golden brown and the texture looked amazing. My wife didn't rave about the flavor so that meant they were good. She got the side salad and the baked sweet potatoes. Texas Roadhouse is known for loading your salads with cheese and baked potato with lots of "goodness". I opted out on the cheese and everything on the side. The ribeye that I ordered looked like a NY strips. It wasn't tender like a ribeye. It lacked the marbling of a ribeye, but had the texture of a NY strip that seems to be chewer. The temperature was cooked medium-rare. I asked for medium, but to me it was good for price point. I did try their steak sauce. It was not for me because it was too smoky. It's not fair to most restaurants because I could make better product at home. Overall, this is a solid place! That's why we always come back. The service and staff are always amazing. Our server, Emma, was very kind, attentive, and thoughtful. Never needed to ask for refills on our drinks. You should give this place a try. They're not known for their ambiance. However, they will give you unlimited rolls, refills of fountain sodas, and water. It's fairly fast and the price point is amazing.

Food was fantastic, service like no other and the ambiance we relaxed and country style. Husband and I came out for a bite and yes it was loud but it's a bar. But the staff was super friendly. Food was great.

    Sangria Margarita so good!!

We went to the new Location, I was surprised to see where they moved to. We have gone to the old location many times before This was a nice new building and the way it was laid out was nice. They have an early bird section on the Menu that is on there from 3pm to 6pm. The waitress was very nice, she had been with them for like 14 years. She was very pleasant and Friendly. She was on top of everything and made sure we liked the food etc I ordered a Sangria Margarita and it was so good. Nice and icy especially on a hot day it was so refreshing. I think I'm hooked, it was so good. My Mom ordered off the early bird menu. The batter was salty as well as the gravy they gave with it. She was glad she got it on the side it would have been too much. My baked potato I had was cooked perfectly. The only downside was the gravy was way too salty and my Mom's Steak batter was salty. . I joined the text alerts as well as email and downloaded the app.

Hi, My name is Mark that's Elvis in the pic, he oversees my grammar. I was disappointed. My wife and I sat down expecting a good meal. I ordered the steak Ka-Bob, it was dry and overcooked as was the rice. My wife had the pulled pork, same thing dry and tough to chew. You would think the cook would have these staples down to a science, whereas they could cook these items perfectly in their sleep. The salad was good as was the bleu cheese dressing. The only reason for 3 stars was because the waiter had a great attitude. I'm glad I did not opt in for the prime steak. This would have been a longer review.

Texas Roadhouse, 941 E. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32937 5 Stars (Chain Restaurant Review) The number one question I am asked in private messages is "Why are you such an opinionated (insert derogatory name)?" No, seriously, it is "Where can I get an awesome steak?" They are both easy answers, but in the name of professionalism, I shall only address the latter. When asked about charred bovine flesh the first thing I mention is my personal non-chain favorites; however, hands down one of the best steak houses is Texas Roadhouse. Yes, the chain. In fact, their steak is better and far easier on the wallet than 90% of independent steak houses. Founded by a former KFC manager from Louisville, KY in a mall across the Ohio River in Clarksville, IN in 1993 they now have (as of August 2021) 627 national locations in every state sans Alaska, as well as 29 international locations in 10 countries. That said, a tidbit most people aren't aware of is that their steaks are hand-cut. Amazingly, it is still far less expensive than all non-chains at which I have dined. After having been seated and given some time to look over the menu, our waiter, Marc introduced himself. If the average waiter had an avatar, it would be Marc. 50% are worse than him and 50% are better. He was a good guy, he got a good tip as he deserved; no problems with him, just a personality drier than the Atacama Desert. I asked Mr. Unexciting for one 32 oz. New York Strip -- rare, with extra seasoning. Yes, a 32 oz New York Strip rare. It is hard to cook a steak this large to any other doneness. The human operating the grill was on the ball as my steak was executed flawlessly and tasted superb. The marbling was beautiful with just the right amount of fat. I also found it to be incredibly tender and succulent. The mixed vegetables were steamed to perfection and served in a cute little acetabulum and the house salad with blue cheese, while I don't think the dressing was made in the back, was also tasty on the palate. There are no pictures of the salad and while you may notice there was another dish on the table. They are both meaningless as the focus here is on the steak. The Big Boy says, "You can drive to Tampa and go to one of my top 5, or you can save time and money and just come here. It's worth it!"

Never a disappointment! I am not a fan of "chains" I like to support local businesses more when I can but sometimes you just need some Steak & Fixins! I'm a southern gal and though I don't crave the food often, sometimes I need that "fix". Texas Roadhouse has amazing steaks for a VERY reasonable price. It's hot, cooked as ordered every time, and it's always full of flavor. Generous portions and lots of yummy sides to choose from. The charm slash down side for me in the country music that's always on blast but again, that's just the atmosphere of this place and my personal dislike for the music genre. It's not exactly a classy spot, but it sure is a cozy one

Everything over cooked and dry. Chicken was mostly fried breading. Potato seemed to be sitting under a heat lamp for a long time.

We've been having family drive big takeout orders down here from this location whenever they visit and it is just as good as I remember. The ribs are fall off the bone tender, and the barbecue sauce is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and smoky. The cornbread is soft and sweet, the toast is buttery and thick, the coleslaw is chopped small and not too wet or too celery heavy. And the BEANS. I love these baked beans. They have pieces of pork in them and are perfect. I could eat an order of just beans and be happy. I've also recently discovered their sausages, which pair so well with the spicy barbecue. Their coconut cream pie and chocolate pie are delightful too. I've never eaten in here so I can't speak to the actual restaurant experience. That being said, the staff do go out of their way to pack the orders in the catering trays when they hear we're taking it long distance. We have sometimes had issues with pieces of the order getting left out, but they've always been very good about making it up to us. I have no good pictures of the food because I inhale it the second it arrives. Trust my one rib photo and twenty years of loyalty to the Woody's name and give them a try!

Woody's has an ENORMOUS menu with just about anything (baby back ribs and half chicken and sweet potatoes are STANDOUTS) and the prices are EXTREMELY fair for this economy. We visited Charlie & Jake's on Father's Day and first impressions were great. The place was spotless, had that rustic barbecue-joint vibe, and despite the holiday crowd, we were seated quickly and greeted right away by a friendly, professional server. Service was pleasant, but our drinks seemed to be playing hide-and-seek. We had to ask for refills every single time we wanted one. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Food came out quickly. My husband ordered the smoked Old Fashioned, which arrived with enough dramatic presentation to make nearby tables stop and stare. Absolutely worth ordering. A small hiccup: when I unwrapped my utensils, the knife appeared to have some sort of residue on it. Since I didn't actually need the knife, I didn't ask for a replacement, but it was worth mentioning. Now let's talk about the star of the show: the smoked chicken. Holy smoke signals, Batman. This was hands-down the best smoked chicken I've ever eaten. Moist, flavorful, perfectly cooked. I would happily order it every week and never get tired of it. My sides were collard greens and a baked sweet potato, both served in adorable metal measuring cups. The sweet potato was good. The greens were fine, but could have used a little more seasoning and personality. My husband ordered one of the meat platters. He enjoyed it, but there wasn't anything that inspired a speech, tears, or vows of lifelong devotion. The toast, however, nearly drowned itself in butter. I wasn't aware bread could absorb that much liquid and still maintain structural integrity. It was literally dripping when he took a bite. Somewhere between toast and sponge. My hush puppies were unfortunately the low point of the meal. They tasted like someone mixed flour and water, formed little balls, and introduced them to a deep fryer. They desperately needed seasoning and I didn't finish them. The fried pickle appetizer was excellent and the portion was generous enough to feed a small pickle-loving village. When the server dropped off the check, we politely declined. We don't leave restaurants without dessert unless there's a natural disaster involved. My husband ordered the banana pudding, which came in a cute square glass container and was very enjoyable. My daughter ordered the peach cobbler. Calling it "peach" felt a little optimistic. There were approximately two peach slices in a mountain of cobbler topping. She loves crust, so she wasn't upset, but if you're expecting fruit, bring a magnifying glass. The filling itself could have used more flavor and some warm spices, and it was absolutely swimming in caramel sauce. A good vanilla bean ice cream would have elevated the whole thing. My son ordered the peanut butter chocolate pie and immediately entered a state of dessert enlightenment. Deep peanut butter flavor, rich chocolate, absolutely fantastic. Final takeaway: Order the smoked Old Fashioned. Order the smoked chicken. Order the peanut butter chocolate pie. Maybe don't order the hush puppies unless they've found a spice rack since Father's Day. Overall, a clean restaurant, friendly service, excellent atmosphere, and a few standout menu items that are worth coming back for.
