Having breakfast. Staff is friendly and buffet is good. Omelettes on request.
    Eliah T.

I thought the servers and hostess were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great, of course, any breakfast buffet with smoked salmon gets an A+ from me. I did have to watch one of the severs( young man) practice his, possibly kung fu in front of the buffet for a full minute which was entertaining and peculiar. But, they offer omeletes.

Rustic- Melbourne- 2 Stars "You may fool all the people some of the time; you can even fool some of the people all the time; but you can't fool all of the people all the time".--Barnum Coming off the fabulous meals at the Ritz Carlton, I was feeling confident and was determined to have another great hotel food experience. However, the apotheosis I achieved at Norman's was clearly not going to be duplicated at Rustic inside the Rialto Hilton in Melbourne, Florida. Our server, Karen is the type of grizzled, battle hardened server I greatly enjoy. She stood up to the task and then some. The dining room itself is a high ceiling glass walled open seating with a nice view of the fountains surrounding the restaurant in decorative fashion. The food was a mixed bag of average to bad. Ultimately, leaving me $70.00 poorer and hungry because multiple items were inedible. You can look at the picture and see burnt toast, dry over cooked hash browns, way overdone eggs and a steak. Amazingly, the steak was seasoned and cooked to the proper temperature. This was not the Sysco breakfast steak most places slough off on you. The steak is what earned them the extra star. Without the steak Rustic would have made the Top 5 worst list. Rustic is far from its name and an easy place to skip over. Big Boy says pass it by.

Food & Service really good but a little slow. One waitress on a Monday night. Not a lot of people though. Wasn't fully aware of where it was located but after I bought the Groupon I mapped it and realized it was in a hotel. To me that was a little odd. Very pretty property but not as intimate as other restaurants. Still worth a try though. Maybe a different vibe on a Fri/Sat. Stuffed chicken was so good! Nice wine selection too. The flat bread was decent too. Daughter said pot roast was really good.

I would love to give this place a better review but the service was so slow I can't live with taking away a star for every half hour I had to wait to get my food. Man. Let me start by saying that the bread is exceptionally outstanding. I just so happened to check yelp and see someone say to ask for warm bread and I'm glad I did. It kept me from starving to death during my long hopeless wait for my meal. I Should be listened to the warning I re river from an exiting customer advising she waited 2 hours to eat. I thought to myself "no way, " because the place was empty. Boy was I wrong . .... the food. Well it was amazing.so if u can stand a long wait then this place is worth a try

While I was sitting at the bar waiting for a drink, Bridget singled me out in front of other customers and questioned me about not leaving a tip. She made comments about why I was there if I wasn't tipping and then refused to serve me another drink because it. She continued with "Aww, what are you gonna do, just stand there?" I was caught completely off guard and felt embarrassed being put on the spot in front of everyone. What made the situation even stranger was that she had barely interacted with me all night. She wasn't even my main bartender. She poured me like one shot. The entire interaction left me feeling humiliated. Other people saw what happened and even approached me afterward and expressed how bad they felt for me. Some even bought me drinks because of what they witnessed. When complete strangers are apologizing for the behavior of your staff, that's a problem. Some also mentioned that they had seen and heard about Bridget's behavior on several occasions. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. As my friends and I were leaving, Bridget came outside and made a point of speak loudly and directly to me in a way that felt sarcastic and mocking. She watched our entire group leave and didn't say a word to a single other person which only reinforced the feeling that I was being targeted. I've worked in customer service and understand that tips are appreciated, But publicly embarrassing a customer, refusing service over a tip, and then continuing to antagonize them afterward is completely uncalled for. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was my first time going out with friends since losing my younger sister. I was looking forward to a night of laughter, music, and a chance to take my mind off everything for a few hours. Instead, I left feeling disgusted and disrespected. Customers come to Salty Fox to relax and enjoy themselves, not to be shamed by staff. The way I was treated by Bridget was unacceptable and by no means should be tolerated. :( The owners don't really care about their business and her repulsive behavior because there has been multiple complaints and she's still there. Also, looking at their reviews on google instead of trying to resolve the issues, they make sly and smart remarks to their customer. You should want the best for your customers and business but they are condoning horrible customer service which is pushing people away. Do better Salty Fox! I used to love coming here with a whole bunch of my friends but Bridget put a real bad taste in my mouth and I don't think we'll be back.

Sweet pineapple, salty bacon, creamy goat cheese, and a drizzle of what tasted like the chef whispering sweet nothings the way I'm romantic. I was going to order a second dose for "research purposes." Truffle Honey Chicken Tenders (Not Your Childhood Lunchbox) is the most misleading name ever because "tenders" sounds like something you eat in a drive thru parking lot (I'd pick Bojangles of course). These were crispy, sticky, sweet, slightly spicy, and basically the PhD version of chicken fingers a bit dry but the sauce make it good. Brussels sprouts usually remind people of childhood trauma. These charred brussels sprouts with honey, soy, ginger, and peanuts tasted like the chef personally apologized to every person who had ever been forced to eat boiled vegetables in 1987. Smoky, sticky, crunchy, slightly sweet. I would willingly eat vegetables here again, which is a sentence I never thought I would say out loud! We build a strategy to devide an conquer in a unique waiter (I hate the name server, it sounds like tennis) recommendation that was impressive! Perfect crust, juicy inside, sitting on sweet potato hash with a slaw piled on top like a fashionable hat and I went with the snapper catch of th day for a surf and turf combo! I considered banging on the door at 3 am for another dose of pork chop like I was in college and wanted the party to go on My brother was impressed with the Blackbird Arise that showed up like it owned the table. He said it was smooth, bold, and dangerous because it makes you start considering dessert when you absolutely do not need dessert. I don't drink so I take his word for it. The women weren't behaving so thy split a smash burger and truffle fries, which means our ordering strategy was clearly "yes." The burger had that glossy brioche bun that looks like it was polished before serving, and the fries were exactly the kind that disappear before you realize you have eaten most of them. A smash burger is supposed to drip greese down your arm and this didn't. This strategy ensured my spot on the couch for bedtime. If you go, order two doses of the dates so you don't have to bring a date.
