Hyatt Runway Rooftop This is one of those places you keep meaning to go. We finally went and I'm glad we did. The ingress and egress was simple, just follow the signs. There was ample free parking. We arrived before sunset which allowed us to see fabulous sights- the airport traffic in daylight, and the sunset which is God's gift after a long day. At night, the airport is a hub of activity. It's a terrific view. If you're interested in sports, they have it available at the bar. It isn't just the atmosphere and view that make this a good restaurant, it is the quality and quantity of food. Like some of you, I traveled extensively during my career. Hotel restaurants were not known for high-quality food. This place is an exception. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, ample amounts, and reasonableness of the prices. The view was beautiful and the service was decent. The food took a while and wasn't hot when it came out, plus my chicken was dry. My husband's slider was pretty good though and since it was the daily special, it came with fries. It was also a reasonable price which made it even better. Plastic chairs are not our thing but the area around the fire looked nice. The drinks were inconsistent, one looked and tasted good, the second one had no garnish and tasted like they also forgot the alcohol. I doubt we'll go back. read more

Our first time there. Had a Groupon for $100. We're there for Happy Hour on a Monday. Appetizers were $9 Regularly $18. I ordered the 3 sliders. Was told that they couldn't do sliders because the Portions for the $9 happy hour apps are 1/2 portions to the regular $18 apps!! We had the nachos and then the flat bread which were good. Our bill total at that time was about $50. When we realized the Groupon amount balance would be lost I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye ($36) and the appetizer wings ($9) to go. When we got home I saw that the 12 ounce ribeye looked small so I weighed it. It weighed 6.8 ounces!! The 5 wings were the smallest wings I have ever seen. I took the steak and wings back the next day. First I was told that since it was. Groupon there wasn't anything they could do. After I was complaining that their advertising that the ribeye was 12 ounces and mine weighed 6.8 ounces the manager said they would prepare another steak for me. The steak was good but only weighed 9 ounces. When I questioned the wing sizes the manager said she realized that they were and she had been trying to change that. Not a good experience. View was nice The 1/2 portion of appetizers and the deceptive ribeye weight are not going to bring repeat customers. read more

Went out for dinner last night. Poor choice in restaurant! We didn't have to wait for a table one was available. Started out with a waitress was cleaning a table next to us and sprayed some kind of cleaning solution that went into my eyes/face. They didn't seem very concerned! My eyes were burning. Thank goodness for tears! Sent a chicken sandwich back because the chicken was very dry. I ended up with a burger that was delicious. Beautiful sunset! We enjoyed watching a few planes taking off and landing. read more

Lovely place but the service and food were horrendous; the bartender was too busy to bother with us and the dinners were less than appetizer portions, with next to no fish at all. I took pictures then threw them out because I didn't want a reminder. Even the restroom was dirty. This was January 2026. read more

Really great overall experience. The location is great, food was really good and the drinks were on point. Service was really good, almost too attentive, but that's not really a bad thing. Ambiance is nice and they had live music closer to when we were leaving. read more

Wandered up from the hotel not know what to expect and was very surprised. The Runway is a well laid out rooftop restaurant with great views of the small aircraft runway and large jetway. Beautiful views of the sunset, too. The food was great - try the shrimp tacos. Prices were average - not cheap, but not wallet breaking. Friendly wait staff. read more

Well. Let me say this the place is new and beautiful. The staff is friendly. So a group of 5 of us decided to try it But. The view is beautiful Where it did get frustrating is my wife wanted just a plain chicken sandwich. She asked if she could have a regular bun. And the staff advised us. NO SUBSTITUTION ? Really ???? So instead she ordered chicken fingers which was dry. So we asked to return it. And the waitress advised no refund??? She did give us the local discount but since we were local I guess we were going to get that anyways. Needless to say. Not the best first impression. read more

Worst restaurant experience we have had in many years. If they had a zero star I would select that. We went for valentines night and had a decent experience so we decided to return with the entire family for their "MOTHERS DAY EVENT." They advertised a special menu said to request ahead and pretended on Facebook and other social outlets that this was a Mothers Day event. Nothing, not one flower on a table, not even a piece of paper that said happy mothers day, no reservations even written down they had no idea who we were. We sat down and after 15 minutes of patiently waiting we got up and flagged down a waitress. Then ten minutes later we got drinks and our order was taken. No special menu presented or talked about. When we asked our server about it she said oh yeah they had some special breakfast "stuff" and that all she said. At this point we almost left but it was mothers day and we had the kids and wanted to just be positive. After a 45 minute wait we finally had enough asked what was going on. Excuses were made, we ordered a well Tequila to ease the pain. Another 30 minutes later food came out. Zero exaggeration 1 hour 15 minutes for food. Funniest part they only brought out our kids food. My wife on Mothers Day had nothing and I didn't either. Ten minutes later they brought out just my dish still no food for my wife the mom on mothers day. No apology, no free drink, no attempt to do anything. 1.5 hours later my wife received her terrible tiny cold tacos. It was a disaster. Worst part is it WASN'T BUSY. Only four other tables and 4! waitresses. To top it all off I got the bill and they gave me top shelf Tequila when I asked for well. $30 for one shot LMAO. At this point we just told ourselves well NEVER GOING BACK THERE. My wife's Mothers Day lunch with her kids was ruined. Poor service, poor management and the FOOD WAS TERRIBLE!!!! BEWARE read more

Pretty cool venue with space to host large groups. Nice bar area, live music & great view. Music is extremely loud, you can barely have conversations. Too crowded, being the newest "place to be". Happy hour drink specials; my Margarita was still $15. Wasn't bad, but not worth $15. Cranberry/Orange salad was $18. Average size bowl most places serve. It came out with chopped chicken all over the top. Sent it back, being vegetarian. Menu did not mention chicken. It came back out without chicken. It was a good, fresh salad. Our server was on our table alone, so service was slow. My bill had the words "take off" with an additional charge of $1. I asked about this & was told it would come off. I'm thinking it was for taking the chicken off my salad... IDK??? It was too cloudy to see the sunset, but still enjoyed the company. FYI: It is outdoors, so no AC. It was very humid, & when the sun does go down, it's directly on you! May try this place again, may not. read more

Food and service were great. Nice way to watch some storms approaching. Got a little load when some softball tournament families piled in.

Really neat place especially if you like airports and airplanes. Great view overlooking the airport and the western sunset. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. Drinks were on the high side. The barbecue chicken flatbread was very good. Only disappointment was my Maverick Mai Tai seemed really weak, especially for the price. Our server was Gabby (hope I remembered that right), she was excellent. Very friendly and took really good care of us. We went on a Saturday around 4:30. At 5 they had a woman playing electronic violin, she was very good. We noticed that when we left around 6, there were people standing around waiting for tables, so recommend you go early Fri-Sat. read more

Long wait times for food. Food was mediocre. The view was okay but didn't see any planes land or take off.

The view of the airport was perfect. The service was very slow but that was due to bad management, only one waitress for all of tables and one person behind the bar. But the waitress was very pleasant even though she was slammed. The food was good but took a long time to get to the table. read more
