I found this spot as a last minute resort to another place that was extremely noisy. This spot is tucked away right off A1A, and has a cute hotel/vacation spot attached to it. This cute bar/grille has an ocean view no matter where you are sitting. There's even some tables on the beach itself if you wanna take off your shoes and sit a spell. Our waitress was helpful and lively. And the food was surprisingly amazing! We only had nachos and drinks because we didn't want to ruin dinner later. But I watched as people Ordered these sky high smash burgers. They looked so damn good! I also zoomed in and took a photo of another persons wings.. they should be called "wangz" because they're so huge! Decent beach bar, but a little too kid-friendly for my taste. I came here hoping for dinner on the water, good music, the sound of the ocean, and maybe some friendly conversation with the locals. Instead, one of the main seating areas was partially taken over by strollers, toys, and other kid gear. I understand that restaurants can't control every family that visits, but the overall atmosphere felt more like a playground than a relaxing waterfront dining spot. To the staff's credit, my server was kind enough to move some of the strollers and toys so I could get a seat. Unfortunately, it had just rained and the chairs were still soaked. While I appreciated her making room for me, it would have been nice if someone had also taken a moment to wipe down the seat before it was offered to me. Instead, I had the unpleasant experience of sitting in a sopping wet chair and spent my evening here with a soggy backside, which definitely put a damper on the experience... Pun intended. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which was good, although I was a little surprised to receive it in a plastic cup. Maybe that's standard here, but it wasn't what I expected. For dinner, I tried the mahi tacos after seeing them mentioned in several reviews. The fish itself was good, but the tacos were absolutely covered in sauce, to the point that it drowned out the taste of everything else. Also, thatsynot what they looked like on the reviews I saw. If I knew they would have so much sauce (or any sauce actually) I would ordered it on the side. I ended up removing most of the sauce-drenched toppings just to taste the fish. I also requested a side salad and was told the only option available for a side salad was a Caesar... despite several salads being listed on the menu. I guess it was too hard to toss some salad greens into a bowl with a side if vinaigrette The parking situation is also very confusing. All the spaces indicate that parking is for guests and there is signage along the fence threatening to tow anyone who parks along the fence. I had to call the restaurant to confirm where guests could park (along the fence, as long as it is not overnight or just to go to the beach) and fortunately my car was still there when I returned from dinner. Overall, the food was decent and the waterfront location is nice. If you're looking for a casual, family-friendly beach bar, this may be a fit. However, if you're hoping for a quieter place to unwind after work or enjoy a peaceful dinner by the water, you definitely want to look elsewhere. read more

Hidden Gem! Located behind a small hotel, this spot was great! We sat ourselves at a table and were greeted by a really nice server named Tracy. Since it was our first time there, she explained the food and how it's cooked. Everything is basically grilled with no fried foods. We ordered crab cakes and two orders of the chicken skewers. The food was really good and nicely cooked. The hummus could've used a bit more garlic, but was fine for most. Parking was a bit scarce, but will return to try the Shrimp Tacos. read more

I usually love this place, and I was so excited to take my friends here. However, the bartender didn't acknowledge my friends and I for a good twenty minutes while we were sitting at the bar. I understand he was definitely busy because it was a Saturday. However, when another man walked up to the bar, he immediately got his order. I wouldn't mind waiting but he didn't even acknowledge us or look our direction until another patron said "hey those girls have been trying to order." He finally took our order and made our frozen drinks. However, one drink was noticeably shorter than the other two he poured, and we watched him just threw more ice into it. Without many Beach front dining properties, I had high hopes for BB's Beach Bar. Parking is minimal and feels intrusive to guests. The bathroom is located IN the resort which is a ways away but clean. The service was slow, and on a busy day I would understand, there were only 2 other tables and 3 people at the bar. Not very friendly either but our orders were correct. Their happy hour was very reasonable and we all had wine, beer and champagne. The view is stunning! Even on a cloudy day it was beautiful. The sounds of the waves, the breeze of the ocean, and the restaurant has just enough of an enclosure to keep your comfortable. THIS is why this place will continue to operate because the food was just terrible! The oysters tasted fresh and had a large amount of saltines and sauces served with them, but I found shells in every oyster. They were shucked without care. The chicken was dry and so thin it tasted like cardboard. The tacos were covered in sauce that obviously came from a bottle and the shrimp were far from "blackened" The burger was dry as a bone! Served with chips and not fries. The feta mousse dip tasted like it was from a can opened days prior, with bland veggies but the pita was soft and warm. (The pita was the only decent thing at our table) If you are looking for a great view but hate yourself enough to spend lots of money on inedible food.. well, this place is for you! Otherwise, make a visit, have a beer, enjoy the view and leave. If you want even a mediocre meal, this is NOT the place. read more

This place is such a gem! Every person I have interacted with has been so kind and happy. Food and drinks are great too. Highly recommend staying at the bleu resort too! It is dog friendly on the patio and they brought my dog a bowl of water! They do have live music sometimes that can get loud so keep that in mind if you bring your dog. read more

I've been here twice. The first time I ordered the smoked tuna because I really love tuna, it's been a thing since a kid. The service was good, the ambiance was good even though they were still under construction the place looked nice. It's easy to miss but you can park by the Dairy Queen or boardwalk and just walk the beach to this location. It's perfect for date night like boardwalk since the owner owns both. I do plan on returning and trying something new. Another thing they only have bottled water, no tap. So if you have a dog you will need to bring the water or pay for it. Burger was fine. The coleslaw is crap. My wife had the jerked grouper. It also came with chips, so she upgraded to potato salad. Cost was $26 +5 dollar upgrade for the potato salad. The fish was fine. It was served on top of pita bread, which was ice cold, so it broke apart when you folded it. The potato salad was crap. So a burger cost $26 plus the soda. Angela and Sam were absolutely fantastic servers. An amazing location with the ocean view and a simple lunch menu. The ahi tuna tower is delicious. It is not spicy at all. Don't let the Sriacha sauce fool you, it is just a bit of flavor. The tuna is very fresh and the seasoning is wonderful. My husband inhaled the Cali chicken burger and chips. The location is what got me here. You can't beat the beachfront view and access to the beach. It was a windy day and the staff was very busy for lunch on Friday. A short wait for our table and we ordered. My friend got the chicken sandwich and she seemed to enjoy. I got the mahi sandwich and the mahi was sparse. For $22 for a sandwich with chips (they don't serve fries here) I expect to be blown away. Valet parking is what is offered. Don't order the blue drink unless you expect candy as a drink. 4. Restroom was in the hotel lobby. The view is amazing !!!!! The valet team was super sweet and attentive. Though they are a bit pricey they are a great local beach bar to go to. My husband and I enjoy going when we go visit our friend beachside. It's nice to come out of the water and head over for a refreshment. I don't typically eat when there but my friend does. He always enjoys the food. Most recently he loved what he had. I've loved BB's since it opened but the food had gone down and prices gone up Took my parents visiting here and we got the chicken nachos & shrimp tacos (not on happy hour) - there were only 2 small shrimp per taco which left most of the taco as just lettuce. Nachos mostly covered in cheese sauce. We all had one drink. And paid for bottled water. Over $100 for a 2 "snacks" and 4 drinks is disappointing. I'm saddened. Hope to see this improved. read more

Why do all these restaurants keep using the word "smash" to describe their burgers these days?! It's wasn't even close to a smash. Probably best for them that it wasn't because the bun was so thick.
