[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great spot for live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Food was better than expected as the overall impression was it wasn't very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Jade was new, 2nd week but had a great attitude, but did disappear a bit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's definitely a cool spot, clearly frequented by locals who don't seem all too welcoming of non locals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If we're ever up in the Palm Bay area we will end back.

Our server was great, but we were very disappointed in the food. My sisters did not like the poke bowls at all. It had a horseradish sauce on it instead of wasabi. There were no cucumbers at all, and there was no seaweed salad included as stated on the menu. My burger was great. My niece's chicken was not cooked and had to be sent back. It was very very quiet... Then we found out it's changed hands recently. Usually it's packed. The manager came out to talk about the issues but really didn't do anything wrong to try to make anybody happy. There was also constant yelling and foul language from the kitchen. Kids kidding around I'm sure but it is a business and I don't find that to be acceptable.

We read a favorable review recently posted by the Treasure Coast Foodie and bought special offer gift cards to give Malabar Mo's a try. We did not have the same wonderful experience that the foodie folks did. We sat outside on the lower deck seating area by the stage where a gentleman was playing guitar and singing a mixture of country and older 80's songs. I will say our server was very attentive, pleasant, and provided great service. I ordered the classic American hamburger with fries for $15.99, and the other person ordered the mahi-mahi BLT sandwich on Texas toast with fries for $17.99. We both agreed the fries weren't good. They had a frozen bag taste to them. The burger had very little flavor, but a big splat of ketchup and mayo helped. The mahi fish itself was tasty, but the Texas toast was too buttery making the sandwich soggy, and the sandwich fell apart. The location is really nice with a view overlooking the water, but the atmosphere, food, and entertainment were all just bland. It's too bad because we had high hopes for a better experience and left feeling really disappointed. Unfortunately, we likely won't return.

Hidden gem! They just renovated this place , there are many seating options both inside and out . Excellent service , staff very attentive & great menu options. I got the garlic parm wings yummmmm !

I got the wings in hot. I like that they just redid the place. I read about the wings and decided to come and try it. The food does take a while and I went around 3pm The wings aren't as thick as I expect but the sauce really ties it up together. Fries were perfect. Hush puppies were perfect. There's a lot of people hanging out loud at the bar and outside drinking it out. I wouldn't say it's an atmosphere thats not normally a sit down and eat like Buffalo Wild Wings or Bizarros. I'd go there again if I was celebrating something.

Came here for lunch after our airboat tour from Swamp Donkey and recommended by our tour guide. Pretty good food and laid back.

A nice place to have a burger and beer - there is no real ambiance to speak of just a local joint on the railroad tracks.

Went for lunch and it did get busy on this Friday…read more We put our order in and I was excited to try the new lunch bowls. Polynesian bowl was my choice and it was pretty good. The ahi tuna had a slight fish taste and the heat from the aioli was just about perfect. I asked for how the chef envisioned it and only one change. It has red onions and scallions. A bit over powering of all the other flavors. Also adding avocado would be a plus. The short rib tacos were very good and an ok portion. Seems like they were not as full of goodness as one would expect. The staff was kind of distracted at times and I had to request drink refills. While I like this place it is out of place in Indialantic unless the staff ups their game to match the prices. A/C was still struggling to keep up and I would recommend sitting in a spot where it actually cools the dining area.

Going to be hard to keep coming here in the summer. We visited on an afternoon and once again were…read moresweltering inside. What do they have against AC? The problem is the open patio door concept. It lets all the hot air in and the cool air out. The condensation is dripping off the vents and pooling on the floor. We tried outside and unfortunately the only tables they would give us as a couple were four seaters out under tiny umbrellas that do nothing to block the heat. They wouldn't let us sit under the actual patio at a larger table "just in case" a group came in. Well, no groups came but we sure sweated it out under our little umbrella. Fish and rock shrimp roll were great, regular fries great, but the upcharged truffle fries were burnt. They made a second batch to take with us... but didn't poke holes in the container so they were a soggy mess that went in the trash at home. I really did appreciate the effort and the server was so nice. But this is the second attempt to eat here. First inside where we all sweated and couldn't hear each other over broken blaring speakers and overcrowded dining area (not to mention inedible chewy snapper special), and now sweating outside with burnt truffle fries we paid extra for. It's just not fun and really starts being annoying to spend money for "upscale" dining in such poor physical conditions. I'm really hoping they get it together, but doubtful after two bad experiences in a row. Tips to owners: Expanding the patio cover. Get a door that closes. Fix the speakers inside. Wipe up the ac puddle (that won't exist if you close the patio door). And give your diners some elbow room.

This cute bar/grille has an ocean view no matter where you are sitting. There's even some tables on the beach itself if you wanna take off your shoes and sit a spell. Our waitress was helpful and lively. And the food was surprisingly amazing! We only had nachos and drinks because we didn't want to ruin dinner later. Decent beach bar, but a little too kid-friendly for my taste…read more I came here hoping for dinner on the water, good music, the sound of the ocean, and maybe some friendly conversation with the locals. Instead, one of the main seating areas was partially taken over by strollers, toys, and other kid gear. I understand that restaurants can't control every family that visits, but the overall atmosphere felt more like a playground than a relaxing waterfront dining spot. To the staff's credit, my server was kind enough to move some of the strollers and toys so I could get a seat. Unfortunately, it had just rained and the chairs were still soaked. While I appreciated her making room for me, it would have been nice if someone had also taken a moment to wipe down the seat before it was offered to me. Instead, I had the unpleasant experience of sitting in a sopping wet chair and spent my evening here with a soggy backside, which definitely put a damper on the experience... Pun intended. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which was good, although I was a little surprised to receive it in a plastic cup. Maybe that's standard here, but it wasn't what I expected. For dinner, I tried the mahi tacos after seeing them mentioned in several reviews. The fish itself was good, but the tacos were absolutely covered in sauce, to the point that it drowned out the taste of everything else. Also, thatsynot what they looked like on the reviews I saw. If I knew they would have so much sauce (or any sauce actually) I would ordered it on the side. I ended up removing most of the sauce-drenched toppings just to taste the fish. I also requested a side salad and was told the only option available for a side salad was a Caesar... despite several salads being listed on the menu. I guess it was too hard to toss some salad greens into a bowl with a side if vinaigrette The parking situation is also very confusing. All the spaces indicate that parking is for guests and there is signage along the fence threatening to tow anyone who parks along the fence. I had to call the restaurant to confirm where guests could park (along the fence, as long as it is not overnight or just to go to the beach) and fortunately my car was still there when I returned from dinner. Overall, the food was decent and the waterfront location is nice. If you're looking for a casual, family-friendly beach bar, this may be a fit. However, if you're hoping for a quieter place to unwind after work or enjoy a peaceful dinner by the water, you definitely want to look elsewhere.
